This week Joe starts his media tour, and it appears that his first stop will be CNN and a sit down with Piers Morgan:
Palin author Joe McGinniss and more
Author of controversial Sarah Palin book "The Rogue," Norway Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and former Gov. Jennifer Granholm
As a rule I tend to avoid CNN, but of course this time I will make an exception.
Joe sent me this e-mail to give me a heads up to where he will be making appearances:
I do Piers Morgan show on CNN Monday, with Colbert and Bill Maher down the line.
Also next week, Chris Matthews, Lawrence O'Donnell plus daytime MSNBC.
Also The View and Joy Behar.
Joe tends to keep me in the loop, so I imagine he will firm up these dates and let me know in time to alert all of you.
By the way to the person who keeps sending me messages saying that Joe used me, let me respond.
Why yes, yes he did.
He used me to make contacts, to promote his book, and to bounce ideas off of.
But here is the thing, I used him as well. I used him to reach out to sources that were afraid to go on the record with me. I used him to give me access to the deck of the house right next to the Palins where I got to sit, eat Yak burgers, and gloat. And I used him to get the babygate story out to a much wider audience.
Except that I don't think either one of us consider that "using" each other. We both had an agenda, and did nothing to hide it from one another.
I believe that is called "cooperation."
Update: A lot of you have been sending me the Doonesbury strip from today, so I thought I would post it along with some quotes that show up on the website. (And before anybody asks me, no I don't know who the redheaded lady is.)
SAY WHAT?
"Never hurts to rumormonger."
— Sarah Palin, in an email musing on ways to prevent Alaska Senate President Lyda Green from being re-elected
"Flippin' unbelievable. Wouldn't you think they'd be afraid of being proved wrong when they rumor around the building like that?"
— Palin, in a subsequent email objecting to a (true) rumor that Bristol Palin was pregnant
Hypocrisy thy name is Palin!
Update 2: You have GOT to listen to this radio interview that Joe gives on the Leonard Lopate radio show! He goes into MUCH more detail about Palin's fling with Glen Rice, and even says that Rice has a copy of "The Rogue" and called him to say that, "It's all good."
In other words the stories swirling around that Rice did NOT confirm the affair are bullshit.
McGinniss also says that he confirmed what is in the book with multiple sources ,and nothing was sourced to only one person. The Palin-bots can bitch and moan all they want, but Joe is no dummy and he had all of his ducks in a row before he sent his manuscript to the publisher.
And we all know that Saint Sarah doesn't use anyone.
ReplyDeleteGood job Joe and Gryph.
ReplyDelete....and everyone benefits, especially our country.
ReplyDeleteYou tell him/her/it, Uncle Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteIt's called being an adult. Reality is an amazing thing.
ReplyDeleteand that line up of interviews takes us to the end of Sept. Isnt that when sister sarah was gonna announce one way or the other?
ReplyDeletebwahahaha
Now lets move on to Rick the Dick:
http://blog.sfgate.com/abraham/2011/08/18/rick-perry-gay-stripper-sex-rumors-rise-after-ron-paul-supporters-ad/
Well at least the two of you didn't go to Applebees. Or eat CrunchWrap Supremes. Or did you???
ReplyDeleteCooperation-it's evidently beyond some people to understand that there are people in life who do things for others without expecting anything in return, except for the good that they know will spring from it.
ReplyDeleteSynergy. There's another big word, trollies.
ReplyDeleteSynergy: Joe and Gryphen haz it.
Your emailer seems to be incredibly thin skinned bunch (like Sarah) and think others are too. They seem to be dealing at a jr. high school level where they don't understand I'll wash your back--you wash mine. Forget it Gryphen, your emailer is counting on you being on their sad emotional grounds.
ReplyDeleteAs far as most of us are concerned all of this is about ridding the political world of the viper, Palin, who was foisted upon us by sick powerful neocons who thought we all would be blind. I don't care how much money or supposed star power she ever gets--I just want her out of elected government. Forever.
I shall watch Joe and be proud of the fact that no matter how much the MSM pulls their skirts over their heads and faint about Joe's "mean book" he got it right with a little help from his friends.
I believe that is called "cooperation."
ReplyDeleteYes...cooperation, and that's a beautiful thing!
Thany you Gryph and Joe!
Believe that would be a symbiotic relationship
ReplyDeletea close and usually obligatory association of two organisms of different species (author & blogger) that live together, often to their mutual benefit
Oh boy !!!! Palin heads will start to explode in 3-2-1....You mean to tell us that not only did that pervert Joe McGinniss but that pervert Jesse Griffin BOTH sat on that deck next door together oggling Sarah in her shorts. OMG! That might be too much for them to bear.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up, G! And thanks for 'using' and being 'used' by Joe!
ReplyDeleteI just listened to an excellent 30-minute interview Joe did on a book review radio program. I hope Piers and the others give him enough time.
http://tinyurl.com/43cecvf
The redhead lady is Becca, Jeff Redfern's publisher (or agent).
ReplyDeleteWhoa!!! Does Joe REALLY blame Sarah and Todd for the overall PAN of his book? REALLY??? Did I just read that?
ReplyDeleteUm, Joe. Your boo is being criticized because it's trashy. It may be a well told story, but it's sleazy and underhanded. I don't care if every detail is true. You're a trashy writer and underwent unprofessional means to write it. That last bit I know for fact after speaking to several people.
And who is this HS rival of Sarahs? Sarah definitely had no one who justifiably disliked her. That is also true.
Just a reminder to all- please consider donating just $2 to Gryphen tomorrow 9/20/2011! McGinnis will be raking in the big zeroes so we need to make sure Gryph gets a little slice of the pie, too.
ReplyDeleteI encourage everyone to donate $2, an amount I think is manageable to most of us. If you can't spare $2 (and sadly in this economy, I know some of you cannot) please contribute by posting the link to Immoral Minority on your facebook, twitter, message boards, etc.
I had another great idea when I bought my copy of The Rogue today. I downloaded the free Kindle app for my iPad (which you can also get for iPhone, Android phones, and other tablets...check Amazon to see the list) and pre-ordered my copy of the book. I'd heard there was a publisher-set price of $25.00 so I was happily surprised to see Amazon selling the kindle version for just $12.99!
If you, like me, were budgeting $25 for your copy and were pleasantly surprised to get it at half price, please consider donating the other half to Gryphen tomorrow.
GRYPHEN: I know it's not your nature to ask for help but I know lots of us would love to see 9/20/11 be as profitable for you as it is miserable for Sarah! Please post your paypal.com email address so we know we're sending donations to the right place!
Two (at least!) For Tuesday!
Help make Gryphen's three solid years of work on Palin have just a small payoff!
Here is why the one night stand matters. It illustrates how deceptive she is/was/always has been. If she is going to have a one nighter, abusing her relationship with Tawd and shitting on the ethics she was required to exhibit as a "journalist", then she was equally able to fuck around with Track's father. A person such as this would absolutely manipulate another man (other than the father of the baby who isn't interested in marrying her) into marrying her pregnant ass. She's a liar and a fraud. Period.
ReplyDeleteReading a statement from Joe McGinniss saying he wrote the best book he could have written for her is just sad. Um, a true journalist would not write a book that is so one sided. S and T may have told their friends and people who actually know them not to talk to him, given that Joe is the type to burn people, but it doesn't mean he should continue to write a biography professing to be an accurate depiction.
ReplyDeleteIf I were burned by all the people who've burned Sarah, I would avoid writers too. Thing is, all this drama creates an abundance of laughs for this family. Just for the pathetic factor.
I also think of Broomfield deliberately leaving out positive interviews probably because it would spoil the image he wanted to create. Sad day for journalism tomorrow. But, this too will make this family stronger.
The red head kinda looks like Rebekah Brooks--except for the glasses. hahaha
ReplyDeleteJoe and Levi are going on talk shows.
ReplyDeleteWhere is Sarah Palin?
Is she hiding?
Detoxing?
Snorting?
Getting a face lift?
Boning an NBA baller?
Balled up in a corner in a catatonic state?
In the mental ward?
Trig, where is your Grandma Sarah?
Great clarification-glad you put it out there on your blog. It was always mu understanding that McGuinnes's focus in Alaska was to write a book. Shannon Moore's recent piece, would have readers believe otherwise, as she has personalized and painted him as taking advantage of her. I believe as a reader of the sp blogs, this was a vain attempt by Moore to continue to feed the melodrama. This does not wear well with me
ReplyDeleteI'm almost positive the lady with the red hair is Palin.
ReplyDeleteWhats sad is, just from reading the intro/chapter 1 that was posted, we know that he relied on rumors (that was false) just to stir intrigue. He literally has no regard for the people involved. I think most Americans will too find this "dated and petty". It's kind of rude to hold the past over someones' head. But it's more rude to draw a portrait of someone and leave out half of the picture.
ReplyDeleteThat is what this book is.
People are dense.
ReplyDeleteOutlets and reporters are defending Sarah because they have hearts and are human. They too have flaws.
11:49...soooo true..
ReplyDeleteGryph thanks for the heads up..
you've done good ...
What I still don't get is her Alaskan frenemies now say "we have no use for her." Thats essentially what I hear.
ReplyDeleteSo, you're pissed because she's not including you in on her professional career, because you dont get to reap rewards or handed jobs?
How selfish! WOW. Sarah really is a celebrity. Only celebrities have to deal with selfish people who have no life in them and wish to live off others.
It ALLLLL makes sense now.
Is the redhead in Roger's office perhaps Rebecca Brooks, although I don't get the connection (yet)
ReplyDeleteThe red headed woman is the editor who has been working with Jeff Redfern about his book about the Red Rascal. Jeff is the kid who gave his copy of The Rogue to the reporter Roland Hedley.
ReplyDeleteGood job on cooperating with Joe. I am eagerly awaiting my copy of The Rogue.
This just keeps getting better and better. The use of Doonesbury is brilliant. She's history. I love it.
ReplyDeleteFor those who haven't been following the storyline, the red-headed lady is the literary agent who accidentally (?) puts the manuscript of Joe's book in the hands of the clueless kid who then handed it over to the Fox News reporter.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.doonesbury.com/strip/archive/2011/09/03
God hates you Sarah Palin!
ReplyDeleteJust to be clear I visited Joe at his house in Wasilla about three times.
ReplyDeleteI never once saw a Palin, nor did I attempt to look over at their property or inside of their house.
Joe had a "no picture taking" rule, which was fine by me since I did not need the Palins claiming I was stalking them anyway.
Joe also asked that I not blog about my visits until he had left Wasilla, and obviously I honored that request.
I read about a member of the Alaska legislature, a Jewish man named Jay, who Sarah delighted in calling "VaJayJay birdnose".alluding, I supposed, to his Jewish nose. That was in her released emails.
ReplyDeleteSuch a classy woman.
I wondered, also, who that woman was in the Doonesbury cartoon today. Our local paper tried to quit including this cartoon, and only after a lot of protest, agreed, grudgingly, to put it on the editorial page. It is in black and white, so I didn't know she was red haired, but that is no help to me anyway.
The Palins just can't comprehend two people working together. They assume one is using the other like they do every day. Here's a clue Palins: There is such a thing called 'teamwork' and 'working toward a greater good'. Look into it.
ReplyDeleteThe redhead in today's Doonesbury is Becca Bickle, an editor at Random House. She accidentally gave Jeff Doonesbury the galley proof of Joe's book instead of his own, and Jeff lent it to Roland Hedley.
ReplyDeleteYa gotta love how Sarah's emails show that she encouraged Ivy to 'rumormonger' about Lyda Green.
ReplyDeleteIf only the media had a collection of Sarah's words to continuously throw back at her...
Drooling Troll @ 12:12PM says:
ReplyDelete"Whoa!!! Does Joe REALLY blame Sarah and Todd for the overall PAN of his book? REALLY??? Did I just read that?"
----------
Um, no you moron you didn't just read that because it DOESN'T SAY THAT ANYWHERE. Are you blind or just dumb? Both?
I don't understand the poster who keeps commenting on the Palin's laughing over this. Do you mean that Sarah, Todd, Piper, Willow, Bristol, Trig and Trip, are all sitting around laughing over Sarah's one night stand with Rice? Or Sarah snorting coke? Or Todd beating up the middle school African American? That makes their family sound even MORE dysfunctional. Who would find that stuff funny and appropriate conversation for kids?
ReplyDeleteWell Bristol has been here spewing her "Joe big mean baaaad, Sawah gooood angel peeeeewfect" crap...that means $5 more for my donation to Gryph tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteBristol, keep neglecting your kids to post your transparently asinine crap- at a dollar more for every ass-hatty post of yours, Gryphen will be able to buy a speedboat before long.
Is the red-headed lady talking with Roger Ailes? In which case, is she a spoof for Rebecca Brooks, the British lady who implicated the Murdochs and News of the World (one of their countless media organizations) in the telephone hacking scandal? Is Doonesbury trying to show the ties between Sarah, Ailes, and Murdoch, then show how this relates to the hacking scandal, and then relate that to how Ailes and the Murdochs did everything they could at every turn to ruin the lives of those who disagreed with them?
ReplyDeleteCuriouser...thanks for the link to the radio interview. It was excellent.
ReplyDeleteLove Malia's post today!
ReplyDeletePayback’s a Bitch!
http://malialitman.wordpress.com/2011/09/19/paybacks-a-bitch/
And here's a review of Levi's book:
As Levi Johnston tells it, it was love at first sight — or at least what counts for love in a 15-year-old. He ran into Bristol Palin in the local grocery store back when he was a student at Wasilla High playing on the hockey team. “She had on a soft-pink turtleneck sweater. Hot,” he writes in his new book, “Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs.” “I walked right up to her. Just ‘cause. ‘Cause I couldn’t keep away.”
She came to his hockey game the next night, and well, the cliche struck. “I looked up,” he writes, “and there she was. Bristol, her eyes fixed on me. As I headed for the bench during a line change, something electric happened over the heads of my teammates.
“Lightning-bolt love.
“It’s lucky the ice didn’t melt.”
That night, his love ablaze, he begged his dad to let him take his truck out to go see Bristol, even though at 15 he didn’t have a driver’s license. His father refused, and Levi was heartbroken. “Her body drove me crazy,” he explains. “All those curves and everything. It still does.”
Soon, Levi tells the world, “she was the sun of my life. We became secret camping lovers, scraping gnarly gnats off our lips before we kissed. . . . I love you, I’d started to say, and before I finished, she’d said the same thing to me.”
How badly it all ended, as anyone even half-conscious cannot have missed. In the book, Levi parades his love, their young lustful appetites and the turmoil over teenage parenthood.
We read about them getting interrupted while showering together when Bristol’s dad, Todd, comes home unexpectedly but fails to catch on to their antics. We learn that they were ”more careful” when they “took a bubble bath downstairs in Sarah’s Jacuzzi.”
We hear his side of the story about her pregnancy and the birth of their son. Levi says that Bristol was inspired when she learned her mother was pregnant.
“I’m the one, Bristol said, who should be having a baby. Not Sarah. . . . Bristol looked at me. Let’s get pregnant.” Levi says Bristol didn’t stop talking about having a baby after her mother’s new son, Trig, arrived. “When she started talking about it, I asked her about birth control, but she assured me that everything was safe. I only half believed her.”
Later, he writes, “Bristol got pregnant on purpose. She had finally come clean, admitted to me that she hadn’t been taking her birth control pills. We were having a baby, end of story.”
When Bristol eventually began speaking out against sexual activity among teens, she and Levi saw the irony in it. “My babe had now been transformed into a sexual-abstinence advocate,” Levi writes. “I told her it sounded sexy dirty to me.”
Bristol started to laugh, and Levi joined in. Soon they were doubled over in laughter.
“She caught her breath enough to tell me that, when her mom first mentioned this career possibility to her, Bristol asked her what abstinence was. She was just joshing me, making fun. She was collecting piles of money describing the horrors of teen pregnancy and before that, of course, teen sex. Which every single kid Bristol and I knew was engaged in. Give me a break.”

Shoo, trolly. Go the Fuck Away.
I think the redhead is supposed to be Rebekah Brooks.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Toad released sarah from her bed restraints for her allowed daily postings at IM:

Hey Sarah where's the DNA test results?
Where's the birth certificate?
Where's your drug test results?
Where's your college records?
Where's the video of you running the marathon?
We'll be patiently waiting.
Anon 12:56PM I love your idea of donating $1 to Gryphen per troll post. I think I will join in that fun! See trolls, you really aren't helping your cause with these obsessive posts. Now people are donating money to Gryphen for them! Hahahaha!
ReplyDeletehahahaa, that's a great response to "being used" gryphen. good job. I am wondering how joe's media visits are going to go... the media is so intent on catering to the dumbshit low iq-ers that I wonder if they'll be fair.
ReplyDelete"Reading a statement from Joe McGinniss saying he wrote the best book he could have written for her is just sad. Um, a true journalist would not write a book that is so one sided."
ReplyDeleteActually, journalism has always taken a side and had a bias. It's only within the past fifty years that journalists have tried for (or claimed) any sort of balance, when in reality they have the same biases they have always had. The Alien and Sedition Acts in John Adams' time were passed to put an end to bias against the Federalists. The great Gilden Age newspapers of Hearst and Pulitzer were biased. The London papers have biases. The New York Times has a bias. Someone who expects FOX to live up to "fair and balanced" has no idea of the history of journalism. Bias and one-sidedness comes with being a journalist.
Good luck on the Piers Morgan Show Joe.
ReplyDeleteHang in there and stay tough, we're all rooting for you.
BTW didn't Piers work for Murdock @ News Corp. So careful to watch your back.
Can't wait to get my book.
Until proven otherwise, I believe the fat guy is Roger Ailes and that the redhead is Rebecca Brooks. Since Brooks is said to have spied on both Fox's (Murdochs', Ailes's) friends as well as their imagined enemies, I believe Ailes may have WELL hacked Joe while he was writing the book. IMO, Ailes' holding the phone to his ear is symbolic of the phone-hacking scandal, alleged to have been carried out for many years by the Fox empire, and believed to have been initiated and directed by those at the highest levels of corporate management (ie, Murdoch and Ailes – who, by the way, are known to be ogle-eyed gossip-lovers). Hence, some of Joe's most recent blog comments along the lines of, "gee, Roger, aren't we long-time friends?" And, "you wouldn't do THAT to me, would you? WOULD you?"
ReplyDeleteThe troll who said that Joe used you will never understand the concept of cooperation. If you have never cooperated, you have no way of understanding cooperation.
ReplyDeleteSarah and her flying monkeys use people and then throw them away so naturally they would think that everyone does this.
I will be sending a contribution this week Mr.G. I hope many more will do this also.
Go Joe! I will hold my nose and watch Piers Murdoch Morgan tonight to support you.
ReplyDeleteTo the Fairy Tale Troll: What will you say when Joe's book is #1? It's happening, babe.
To quote:
ReplyDelete"dated and petty"
Yup. That is the whole Palin klan.
Levi will be on Dr. Phil tomorrow. Joe will be all over the tube.Talk about PR! Where is Sarah? Come on, Todd, aren't you going to refudiate everything in those books, even though you haven't read them.
ReplyDelete"I used him to give me access to the deck of the house right next to the Palins where I got to sit, eat Yak burgers, and gloat."
ReplyDeleteI'll just bet you did. And you deserve every single gloat!
This has made my day. (Oh, that poor fridge.)
Once again you have hit some major nerves(truth). I think half the posts so far are trolls. I suppose we can expect a big infestation for the next few days. It would be fun to find a way to split the comments section and put trolls in one place and everyone else in another.
ReplyDeleteLast Thursday or Friday Chris Matthews did say he was having Joe on Tuesday. The schedule may have changed, but Chris is on now; will keep an ear open.
ReplyDeleteAm really hoping these interviews give Joe M. the chance to explain in detail without the usual time limits. These one hour shows with 5 minute interviews just don't cut it. Piers Morgan hopefully will devote the whole hour to him.
Looks like the dreary, sappy, saccharine, hand-wringing scullery trolls are back. (Did they ever leave?) As each day passes, their whining drivel highlights even more the dysfunction and evil exhibited by the grifter clan.
ReplyDeleteWhatever VanFlea is paying them, it's definitely too much. (He was robbed!)
OT
ReplyDeleteLevi's book sounds pretty cheesy from this review. He talks about Sarah having Trig too.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/political-bookworm/post/levi-johnston-on-love-sex-and-abstinency/2011/09/19/gIQAEB4zfK_blog.html
Cooperation is socialist, isn't it?
ReplyDelete@12:27
ReplyDeletePalin sure did hold what she thought was Pres. Obamas past. Calling him a terrorist. So let Queeny eat crow now.Why is her past a sacred secret.Edwards has a past too. Walsch, Blago, Walker, Murdock, Perry list is too long.My advice to Palin don't act like a puritan and then have brown rice thrown at you.
I'd never heard of Sarah Palin before McCain announced her as his running mate. So I really had no preconceived notions about her at all.
ReplyDeleteBut I remember how utterly shocked I was when I heard an announcement on the news that Sarah Palin's teenage daughter Bristol was five months pregnant out of wedlock, in order to rebut the rumors that it was Bristol and not Sarah who was the real bio-mother of Trig.
I simply could not believe that any mother would throw her own daughter under the bus like that. Especially such a now FAMOUS mother.
Sarah let (or more likely, insisted upon) her daughter be publicly shamed (because to so many of Sarah's hypocritical base, being pregnant out of wedlock is a matter of shame) in order to clear Sarah herself of any suspicion of hoaxing her pregnancy with Trig.
Sara had two choices, and she made the one to protect her own self rather than her child. Some Mama Grizzly. Snort.
Sarah Palin showed her non-maternal ASS then, for ALL time. She showed that she was capable of doing ANYTHING to promote her own interests at the expense of even her own children.
What a happy family they must be, indeed! What a happy family when children are taught that their mother simply does NOT have their backs, unless it benefits HER in some way. Otherwise? They are nothing to her but chum to throw to circling sharks to distract the sharks from Sarah herself.
What a vile, disgusting, foul person Sarah is. She proved it herself, with absolutely no question, on the day she so easily sacrificed her daughter's reputation for her own political gain.
Sarah Palin exposed herself as a woman who may have borne children, but who has all the maternal instinct of a pile of fresh grizzly bear dung.
I pity her poor children. And I loathe her.
Nice work, Gryph. I am sure your knowledge was invaluable.
ReplyDeleteNow about that Levi thing, it sounds like his book is all about the love of his life - a man scorned. If the Wapo excerpt is correct and Bristol really started wanting a baby after Trig arrived - the math doesn't add up to a full term December baby. Just saying.
Gryph - I am 99.9% sure Levi knows Trig doesn't belong to Sarah - what's he leaving out & are you going to fill in the blanks?
Thanks for the update. I certainly will be watching CNN tonight.
ReplyDeleteAlthough most of us are still waiting to get our copies of The Rogue, I do want to comment on what I know of the book so far.
It appears as if Joe has really revealed the true character of Sarah Palin. Not the one she wishes to portray, but her true colors.
Americans are entitled to know the character of folks who seek elective office and those who would be kingmakers as well. Certainly, the media never reported on the character of Sarah Palin. Rather, they (the media) would report word for word whatever Sarah said on Facebook. That is not reporting.
Someone who can command media appearances on national shows needed to expose the Queen for her true self and God Bless Joe for doing that. He is going to take a lot of heat for it, and I am glad to see that you are standing by him.
We're they "yak burgers" b/c you saw Quitty in her shorts while you were eating them and vomited?
ReplyDelete;)
Honestly I have to admit a big part of what gets me reading the comments here are the troll posts. I don't know why, they just entertain me in all of their truth-challenged glory.
ReplyDeleteIf all there were here were the "You da man, Gryphen" posts, then this would be alot less interesting.
Just my opinion...
Anon @ 12:32 PM
ReplyDelete"Outlets and reporters are defending Sarah because they have hearts and are human. They too have flaws."
Yeah--we all know what caring and compassionate people reporters are. Gimme a break...
And "flaws?" Is that what you consider bribery, nepotism, harassment and just plain greed and selfishness?
Some might consider those "flaws" to be sins.
It's a question:
ReplyDeleteIf the only people who live in fear in AK are anti Palin, why are they anti Palin? Why do they choose to be hateful people?
Makes zero sense to me. Why live a life of hate when the alternative would make them happy?
unless, they're just attention or money hungry
hmmmm
To anon @ 1:03,
ReplyDeleteI thought that was a satire piece when I first started reading it. That was the Washington Post? Not the Onion?!
Wow. This book may be like one of those guilty pleasure B movies. The ones that are so bad, their good.
Uuuummm, Major clue in this review of Levi's book. Red Flag Red Flag!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete“I’m the one, Bristol said, who should be having a baby. Not Sarah. . . . Bristol looked at me. Let’s get pregnant.” Levi says Bristol didn’t stop talking about having a baby after her mother’s new son, Trig, arrived. “When she started talking about it, I asked her about birth control, but she assured me that everything was safe. I only half believed her.”
So folks!, Wasn't Bristol already pregnant when Trig supposedly arrived. Why would she be talking about getting pregnant AFTER Trig arrived if she was already pregnant, unless Trig had already been born before that. Hhhhhmmmmmm
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/political-bookworm/post/levi-johnston-on-love-sex-and-abstinency/2011/09/19/gIQAEB4zfK_blog.html
I know Dr. Phil is syndicated and so the schedule is different in all markets. But, in my market (Albany, NY) on his show tomorrow is Levi Johnston. Should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteI still have doubts about sourcing regarding several leaks already. But I will reserve judgment before I read the context.

ReplyDeleteThing is, all this drama creates an abundance of laughs for this family. Just for the pathetic factor.
12:16 PM
---------------------
Uh huh. I'll bet Sarah and Todd and Bristol are laughing. Suuuuure they are. Keep smoking whatever you're smoking, you sad, pathetic loser.
@Anon at 1.53
ReplyDeleteI felt exactly the same way.
I really have to laugh, though grimly, at this meme of people being 'used'. Sarah Palin USES her CHILDREN any chance she gets and for that she does NOT get a pass. Conscious people cannot be 'used' without their consent. On some level there is an agreement between the 'user' and the 'usee'. It's only when the 'usee' doesn't get what they expected from the deal that they cry 'user'. (Shannon, case in point. What a joke she turned out to be.) There is some degree of being 'used' by every single human being on the planet. EVERYONE uses everyone, but not necessarily in a detrimental or harmful way. Sarah uses people in horrifically harmful ways, with the intent of destroying them.
ReplyDeleteGryphen has his eyes wide open, and is 'using' the opportunities that are coming his way to ferret out the lies and false history that Sarah's PR has tried to get by with for way too long. It's been the drip, drip, drip of time and information that has worn away the facade of the one they call Sarah. That and her own actions and words have been critical in her demise, which, in looking back, really began in earnest when she recorded that 'Blood Libel' defense after the slaying in Arizona.
After that it's been pretty much downhill I would say, and Joe's book, and Levi's book and Fred's book and Nick's movie are just making SURE that the harridan is PERMANENTLY silenced. And GRYPHEN is the hub for it all.
Ordered the book for Kindle. I will be reading this with a very critical eye because I want to make sure the coffin lid is snapped down and securely nailed before I do a full out Happy Dance. I have to see the actual print as it appears on the page. And where is Sarah? Usually it is a good strategy to get ahead of the story. Other that the flying money trolls, there is no pushback from the Palin camp. (Todd's sorry ghostwritten response the other day does not even count.)
ReplyDelete2 for 2'sDay
ReplyDeleteI think we got it already. You could have said it in one sentence not consecutive posts.
It's getting old and embarrassing.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with everything you said. I am the mother of three girls also and I would never, ever treat my children the way she did. She should have said no to McCain if only for Bristol's sake.
I would also say that she gave Bristol horrible advice on writing a tell-all book at 19. There are just some things that the country doesn't need to know and most definitely that book crossed the line.
Terrible Mother, Terrible Governor, Terrible Person. Not fit to hold any type of public office.

If I were burned by all the people who've burned Sarah, I would avoid writers too. Thing is, all this drama creates an abundance of laughs for this family. Just for the pathetic factor.

You do realize how stupid you sound (and are), right? No, of course not.
"If the only people who live in fear in AK are anti Palin, why are they anti Palin? Why do they choose to be hateful people?"
Why does being anti-Palin automatically make someone a hater? She's a corrupt, lying, dishonest, un-American grifter, proven by her own words and actions. Are you suggesting that people should embrace those things?
"Why live a life of hate when the alternative would make them happy?
unless, they're just attention or money hungry
hmmmm"
This would be a perfect question for you to ask of Sarah Palin, one of the angriest, most vindictive, thin-skinned, hateful, narcissistic, and greediest people to ever enter American politics.
I know that attempting to rationally reply to fools like you is a waste of time. However, you might want to think about the fact that when you spout your silliest drivel, people will in fact see a response.
Yea! And to the commenter who wants us to all send $2 to Gryphen tomorrow to celebrate the 20th of September and the release of "The Rogue" and his part in it - Gladly! And Gryphen, when you do tell me that I can finally uncork that bottle of champagne, I will send a bigger donation (at least enough to cover some champagne for you)!
ReplyDeleteNow to those commenters who are saying that the book is all lies, that it is all one sided and does not present the real picture of Sarah Heath Palin: you itemize for me any real good she has done, whether it was as the 1/2 Governor of Alaska (remember, she quit!) or as a VP candidate (remember how she stirred up hate and racism at every rally?) or following as whatever it is she has been, oh yeah, a failed author, a FAUX news spokesperson, and a celebrity wannabe. Has she said anything anywhere close to working with this administration and this President as she indicated she would following her LOSS in the election? No. She badmouths him, even to the point of calling him names; she badmouths the First Lady; and half the time she does so not making any sense herself as to understanding the issues. Has she offered any detailed plan of what she would do about any of the issues facing this country? No. Has she become a spokesperson, using her "celebrity" status if you will, for special needs children, a time when she really could legitimately carry Trig on stage and talk about him and other special needs and what it take to nurture those children. No. Has she reached out to any groups (other than pushing her daughter to be an abstinence spokesperson for Candies which, uh .. uh ... has failed miserably)to represent any thing good, moral, healthy, Christian? No.
You cannot give us any examples, probably not even one, of any good work she has done (you know, the kind of good works it talks about in the Bible) since we first became acquainted with her. So STFU.
And, you say that there are people in Wasilla who still love her. That she is not hated? Well, I don't hear any of them coming to her defense. Gee, I wonder why?
Joe uncovered some truths ... and we are ever so grateful for the good he will have done this country and this whole world!
England didn't want her, Canada didn't want her, now most of the United States will not want her!
OH MY DEAR LORD.
ReplyDeleteLevi's book sounds like it's going to be so effing cheesy and unrealistic it's not even funny. He and Bristol both are still trying to play up the softer side when in reality we know they were two typical teens who liked the opposite sex....and sex...
UGHHHH LEVI damnit I think you just let me down son.
Anonymous 1:55 -- I have taken it that Bristol started wanting to get pregnant when she learned her mom was pregnant. That would be March 5th, I think. And, that does allow enough time for Tripp to be born the end of December. Of course, isn't there also some question as to when he was actually born? Wasn't his birth announced some time after the supposed date of birth?

ReplyDelete"Twenty million jobs were out-sourced by a partnership between corporate America and the Republican Party. Over the last ten years, while the poor and middle class in America have suffered the indignity of castration, this hideous cabal has erected an impenetrable citadel in which they remain, hidden, anonymous and blameless. Their sentinels are the "angry white men" of talk radio, colloquists of racism, cruelty and despair.
Their champions are gladiators in the arena of public opinion, who daily square off against Liberals in three to one orgies of inane dialectic. I think it is wrong to portray Barack Obama as weak and ineffective when he is the only one who is standing in the way of this blitzkrieg of conquest. Obama is not weak at all; he has bared the weight of unyielding criticism, personal attacks and racial innuendo and has not voiced even a scintilla of complaint. He inherited a catastrophe, a nation on the brink of crumbling under the weight of its own hubris and naivite.
A few evil men have conspired to destroy the middle class in America, to subjugate them as cheap labor, rob them of their savings, their homes, their retirements and their health while enriching themselves and justify it in the name of "freedom." No, Barack Obama is not weak, we are weak. If the middle class does not stand up and fight for its rights it will deserve to lose them. The fight for liberty is one that never ends. It is no surprise that the Republican field is composed of cowboys, floozies and clowns because avoidance of the real fight has brought us down to the level of toads. The President needs the support of the people he is fighting for. I think he deserves our support."
Oh man, this is just sweeeeet!
ReplyDeleteReal men don't quote the New York Times
Forget former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for a moment, and ask yourself this: What has the life of politics and celebrity done to former Iron Dog snowmachine race champion Todd Palin?
He used to be a man's man. Now he needs the New York Times to validate his belief that a book written by an effete East Coast author has insulted his wife? He can't just stand up and say something like this in nice, simple, easy-to-understand Alaska terms:
"Joe McGinnis has written a piece of crap intended to do nothing but embarrass my wife, and if he wasn't such an out-of-shape old geezer, I'd invite him out into a parking lot somewhere to settle this man to man."
Instead we get a statement -- "released" from a "spokesperson" mind you -- that says: “This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife. His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo, and smears. Even The New York Times called this book 'dated, petty,' and that it 'chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip.'"
"This is a man?"
Todd now describes guys who piss him off with something as mild as "this is a man?" You've got to be kidding. That's girly talk. It almost makes you wonder if Todd wrote, dictated, mumbled or in any other way authored the statement dispatched around the globe in his name with the click of a couple of computer keys.
"This is a man who been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door ..."
And this is how a guy who's suffered a frostbitten face and broken arm racing a snowmachine for days across the wildest country left in North America now talks. I don't think so. That snowmachine racer guy says, "Joe McGinniss is the jackass who moved in next door to spend a summer spying on us. And now he's illustrated he's an even bigger jackass than I first thought."
Iron Doggers don't engage in silliness about a guy with a "creepy obsession with my wife." Hello, Todd? Sarah suckered you into doing the goofy reality show "Sarah Palin's Alaska." You're not really one to be talking about an "obsession with my wife" after that. The whole idea of that show was to market the American obsession with your wife. Why do you think the show was called "Sarah Palin's Alaska" instead of "Todd Palin's Alaska"?
And as for "creepy," inviting filmmakers into your home to record the boyfriend of your daughter sneaking upstairs into her room with the suggestion there might be some hanky-panky going on there; well, that was "creepy." Especially against the backdrop of your bad luck in having another unmarried teenage daughter get pregnant. There's some "innuendo" in that "Sarah Palin's Alaska" segment, in case you didn't notice, and positive innuendo it isn't.
All of which really makes one wonder if Todd is still a voice in the Palin household -- or if perhaps SarahPAC has taken over. Todd has never been the most well-spoken of men. Take it from someone who talked to him as an Iron Dog racer for decades. But there was a time when he did know how to pick up a telephone and call a reporter if he had something he wanted to say, and it wasn't to quote the New York Times saying a book about his wife is "dated" and "petty."
Todd knows how a real Alaska man acts when his woman has been wronged...

ReplyDeleteGreat analysis of "the red haired lady" I knew she was a publisher and was called "Becky" but never put all that together.
Of course Trudeau had more going on behind her character! This Palin themed strip was censored by Newsday and the Chicago Trib and probably others.
However, the strip was pulled when he referred to Rove as Trudblossom and other times. My personal favorite is the "Darth Cheney" stuff. Must hand it to Trudeau for still being relevant and "controversial" enough to still get pulled after all these years.
Gryphen, thank you for all your dedicated hard work in exposing what a fraud Palin is. This woman would be an absolute disaster in the White House. She has managed to fool many people, but has so much baggage that she no longer will be able to control it by all the manipulation and fear tactics she has used in the past. She's gone too far and has hurt too many people, and hopefully now it is finally catching up to her.
ReplyDeleteAlso there is no way the publishers would have published his book or parts f the book if they couldn't fact check it. It would be too much of a liability.
ReplyDeleteGryphen, did you get a copy of Levi's book? I just read the review and it's, well, kind of terrible. Is that why you aren't talking about it? It reads like a Harlequin romance, written by a man.
ReplyDeleteI know you tried to help him but wow, it seems that he is his own worst enemy. From the excerpts it seems that Levi himself could have written this tripe without any help from a "professional". I don't follow what you are saying. Are you saying that if you are anti something/someone, then you are a hater?
* So if you are anti a map with cross hairs over people's names, then you are a hater?
* If you are anti people who bully, use and abuse others in order to get their own way, that makes you a hater?
* And if you are anti Palin's policies of "Do as I say, not as I do", that makes you a hater?
Please explain your logic to me, that if a person disagrees with someone then that person is a hater. I simply do not understand how you come to that conclusion.

@1:53: I'm with you. It's absolutely unbelievable that her acolytes think she's a great mother, given what she did to Bristol. Like most Alaskans, I knew she was a terrible choice for VP based solely on her record as governor. But I was completely disgusted and outraged when she announced Bristol's pregnancy solely to protect herself from an obscure blog comment that no one was paying attention to anyway.
ReplyDeleteNot only that, but Sarah knew Bristol was pregnant when she accepted McCain's offer. She KNEW Bristol would be tossed into the media grinder once it was revealed. She let it happen anyway. What kind of mother would do such a thing? Now she has a ruined daughter who lets her own selfish impulses take precedence over her child's well-being.
I'd be grateful that Palin has publicly revealed what a narcissistic, nasty person she really is, except that she's caused tremendous damage to the political discourse ever since. What she's done to her children, though, is unforgivable.

Hey, there's more at the WNYC site worth reading about the book and Sarah:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.wnyc.org/blogs/its-free-blog/2011/sep/19/opinion-why-do-we-care-about-palin-player-heres-why/
The author of the piece is Jami Floyd and she is well-equipped to address this issue - why we should care. Floyd is " . . . an attorney, broadcast journalist and legal analyst for cable and network news, and is a frequent contributor to WNYC Radio. She is former advisor in the Clinton administration and served as a surrogate for the Obama campaign on legal and domestic policy issues."

ReplyDeleteThis is a night for celebration!
The red-haired lady in the doonsbury strip is Rebekah Brooks, the editor of the now defunct News of the World, owned by Murdoch, who was fired during the phone-hacking scandal in England.
ReplyDeleteAnon 2:09 - "Why would she be talking about getting pregnant AFTER Trig arrived if she was already pregnant, unless Trig had already been born before that."
ReplyDelete----
Levi may be leaving a hint but the official version works, too. Bristol got pregnant before April 18 but she didn't know she was pregnant until the end of April or very beginning of May. So she may have still been trying even though she already was...pregnant.
Sarah is simply reaping all of the mean-spirited seeds she has sown all of her career. So she deserves this take down, and all of the ones to come. I'm sure she's dreading Fred's babygate book, and the film. Liberal media will continue to defend her because they don't truly believe sexual indiscretions or lying about your personal life affect job performance. But liberals were never going to vote for her, or buy her books, or tickets to hear her speak.
ReplyDeleteSarah's problem, and the reason she's finished, is that the people who've had her back this long, DO care. Her tea party supporters are fine with the vindictiveness and unethical behavior, but they will not forgive quick and easy premarital sex, especially with a black man. And I can only imagine how they will respond if the babygate book is as good as promised. She'll have to go into hiding, and I hope she has enough SarahPAC funds left to pay her legal fees once her followers realize just how thoroughly they've been conned.
Teutonic,

I can never tell whether you like Sarah Palin or not which makes it interesting. You have insight that one can't get elsewhere, like in the New York Times. The thing I find baffling is that the Palins have issued ghost written statement that attribute deviant sexual motives to any male who is at all critical of Sarah Palin. The mainstream journalists run with the innuendo as if it is fact and feeble minded people lap it up.
Joe McGinnis is an investigative journalist motivated to write about Sarah Palin because she is a phenomenon. Not because she is a anorexic overgrown teenager with a push up water bra, who seems to mesmerize so many men (and women.) She is a phenomenon. All over the world people are scratching their heads trying to figure out how the heck did she get so far.
Joe left a lot out of the book. Among other information, I believe he discovered why Palin is so promiscuous and sexually inappropriate, but he didn't have enough evidence to include that story in the book.

You have overdrawn your emotional investment in a person who is at best; a malignant narcissist and at worse a self-absorbed sociopath. Like all churches, Palin demands money from her devotees while she strip teases on this mobius strip of pretending to be thinking about running for president. The logic you feebly employe trying to defend her is no different than a criminal getting all huffy and indignant because the police are thwarting their behavior.
Ask yourselves, why are criminals despised? The same applies to Palin. It's over. She's done. End of story. If nothing else, the phony pregnancy will finally, at long last get the scrutiny it so richly deserves.

Even the dumbest Palin fantard would know that the author was speaking truthfully about his subject.
ReplyDelete"If the only people who live in fear in AK are anti Palin . . ."
ReplyDeleteYou lost me there because you "make no sense." The topic of conversation is Palin. There were people who said they were too afraid to speak publicly, along with people who did go on the record.
If you were to write a book, say, about snakes, spiders, bears or, say, Joe Miller, you'd probably get some folks who are afraid of those things. People live in fear of lots of things, but that isn't the subject of this book.
Your "logic" defies logic.
I've a question for more experienced Kindle-ers..
ReplyDeleteI have an iPad 1st gen. I downloaded the free kindle app today, bc I read you could buy it for half the price of the bookstore cost, on the kindle. I don't have a kindle but I dl'd Frank Bailey's book (SNOOOZE, he still has his pointy head up her neiman marcus GOPaid for panties) on iBooks so I knew I wouldn't mind reading TR on the iPad.
I bought it a little while ago ($14.07 incl tax!) and this us my question..
Will it show up in the kindle app at midnight, or sometime tomorrow? And if so, when? If anyone knows this I would be grateful for the tip!! Also too, G..I just know you are going to give us a juicy open thread so we can all post our "OMG! Did you see XYZ 123 on page 000??!"
No spoilers, of course...just good old fashioned gossipy discussion. :o)
Uuuummm, Major clue in this review of Levi's book. Red Flag Red Flag!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery good catch. If the quote about her saying that after Trig arrived April 18 is true, there is no way she had a full-term baby December 27, er 28, er . . .
Teutonic, take a nap.
ReplyDeleteAnon 3:37 PM
God (cq) luck to him trying to explain that to the judge.
Ooh...Joe's scared!! Oh my, that mean old judge is gonna see right through his thoroughly vetted best-selling book that Sarah Heath will NEVER take legal action against because she is a fraudulent fool and imposter.
UGHHHH LEVI damnit I think you just let me down son.
ReplyDeleteDo you think we don't realize you are trying to get people to not buy Levi's book? And yet, you wanted Bristol's pathetic father-of-my-son bashing, "my baby is a mistake" book to be a best seller.
And you're here trying to sway opinion. At least you're transparent. Try harder.
Anon @ 3:37p: "Good luck to him trying to explain that to the judge."
ReplyDeleteIjit! You think McG's publisher's attornies haven't vetted the book to a fare-thee-well? How fucking stoopid are you?
It'll never come before a judge. You think the grifter will sue him? Not in a zillion years.
Whatever VanFlea is paying you is too much. You (and your weepy mush brain cohorts) seem to be two pee-pee steps from being brain dead. Or you've run out of your Medicaid meds early this month.
Anon at 12:16 PM: "Thing is, all this drama creates an abundance of laughs for this family. Just for the pathetic factor.
ReplyDelete***************************
What's even funnier is that all of Sarah Palin & clan's drama has created an abundance of laughs for millions of people the world over. Just for the pathetic factor. LOL
I also totally agree with Anon at 1:53...
ReplyDeleteAnd, Happy Family Troll:
I must be one of millions who held my breath every time Trig was wobbled across a stage or up steps to a stage by a teetering little 8 or 9 year old girl.
Do you understand? If Trig fell... who would get the blame? His little sister, that's who.. and that was setting her up for unforgiveable and preventable trauma.
No reasonable parent would give that young girl such responsibility.. but it mattered not at all to Sarah, busy swanning around for the cameras.
I am hoping that revealing Sarah's personality and modus operandi .. or even just her meanness.. will ultimately benefit people around her from the burden of carrying her secrets.
By all accounts the book reads like he used single anonymous sources.
ReplyDeleteAnd whose accounts are you talking about? The book doesn't even go public until tomorrow.
Now he's trying to cover his ass and say he used multiple anonymous sources.
Or, he's taking the opportunity to explain his methods in an interview, the first time he's asked the question.
God [sic] luck to him trying to explain that to the judge.
Oh sure, Sarah is going to sue him and risk having to tell the truth and submit to discovery. Joe's publisher and legal team made sure it was sourced, to cover themselves. But let her sue! I'd love to hear her side of any of these stories. All we get are "Joe is a meanie and a pedophile, also, too." "God" luck with your lawsuit, Sarah. God said lying is a sin.
If Sarah Palin did not fake Trig birth, why didn't she just sue (NAME one of MANY) the bloggers and stop the internet chatter or just post Trig's birth certificate on FB? Oh, that's right, Palin did NOT birth Trig. LOLOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteWe know Sarah is a patholgical LIAR.
Watching Joe On Piers Morgan right now...GO JOE!!
ReplyDelete@12:12 "...underwent unprofessional means to write it..."?
ReplyDeleteSome advice:
1) grow up
2) don't use big words if you don't know what they mean
Well, I just watched it and Peirs is a jerk.
ReplyDeleteIf Sarah decides to run as a third party candidate, the new party might be called the White Rice Party.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I saw, Piers Morgan is a boorish lout. What an utterly rude bully. I think Joe McGinniss did fine under the circumstances.
ReplyDeletePiers Morgan is an ASS but Joe is standing his ground.
ReplyDeleteI like how the trollies are saying we shouldn't focus on Sarah's early life. I have four words for you losers: palling around with terrorists"...'member that? SOMEONE tried to cast aspersions against a Certain Someone who happened to be involved in a political protest against a retarded war when that Certain Soneone was EIGHT...
ReplyDeleteSo yeah. You ass faces can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Flipping hypocrites.
Well, that was awkward.
ReplyDeletePiers Morgan is a pompous ass.
ReplyDeletePiers Morgan reinforced why he is considered
ReplyDeletea lightweight ass.
Joe was calm and collected and mature and not rising to Morgan's silly bait.
Morgan wasted an opportunity to have an intelligent discussion with an author
because he could not get past his obsession with Joe's living arrangements.
Morgan did not read the book, just a Cliff's Notes from other reviewers.
Morgan continued to dwell on trivia and repeated falsities which Joe batted down
when he could get a word in edgewise
from the hyper Morgan.
Because of Morgan's unwillingness to actually listen
to what Joe said
there was a protracted Who's on First segment
about whether Palin
was a sex cheat or had an affair.
And whether Palin was bulimic ,
a term Joe never used..
Joe acquitted himself extremely well , Morgan not so much.
McGuinniss added new details.
He gave Todd his word that nothing he might
see as a neighbor
would ever make it into the book.
Unlike the Discovery Channel cameras which were the real peeping toms.
So, Todd's hysterical claims and Palin's lying FB posts spawned Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity
and others to spread lies about Joe's motives.
Joe also recounted the thousands of threats he got, including many death threats.
The Wasilla police and the Alaskan state troopers
took the threats seriously
and kept watch on the house.
Glen Rice and he spoke on Saturday and Rice is pleased with the book .
Even though Morgan tried to step all over Joe,
he failed.
Palin and the bots cannot be happy with this interview because of the totality of negative things
about her that were repeated ,
especially by Morgan.
Plus, Joe came off like a class act.
My name came up in Lopate's WNYC interview, in context of my June 1997 discussion with Sarah Palin at the Wasilla Assembly of God, at which she and I had just performed, so to say.
ReplyDeleteThere's a minor error in how Joe relates how I became curious about Palin's belief in young earth creationism at that time. He states that I found out about Palin's belief through my wife. That wasn't the case. I found out through a variety of means, partially through a former member of that church, who certainly doesn't want to be named. But mostly, through discussions with other parents or school teachers involved in support groups in the school district's ELP program. Many of us were concerned about Palin's earlier efforts to stack the Mat-Su School Board with creationists.
Otherwise, an interesting interview by somebody who professionally prepared himself for the subject.
BTW - the threatening phone calls have started. I'm not even going to check my Gmail account, which is well-known, or my UAA faculty email account, which is published. At least for a few days...
So far, just middle-of-the night hangups. I'm writing the numbers down.
I'm far more worried about people like the woman in Dillingham who fingered Todd as a peeping Tom. Be safe, everyone.
I've never watched Piers much so I had no opinion much one way or the other. As of tonight I officially will probably never watch him again. Sheesh. He's a horrible interviewer - depending on whether you are going for substance or ratings & sensationalism (nto sure if that's the right word, but close enough for now). It seems like Piers thinks his job is to just ask questions - provocative if possible - answers are gratuitous and irrelevant. The interviewee (both the Governor & Joe) had to work to actually answer questions and oftentimes couldn't.

"And who is this HS rival of Sarahs? Sarah definitely had no one who justifiably disliked her. That is also true."
ReplyDeleteSo, just like now, anyone who dislikes Sarah is UNjustified? What is Sarah spread nasty rumors about you? Or messed around with your boyfriend or husband? Or told lies about herself to make herself look better? Sorry, anyone who disliked Sarah then and now was more than justified. You really think that all these facts coming out about her make her a likable person who has just been maligned by others who are jealous or 'fear' her? Truly, I'm sure Joe and Jesse would have preferred that she never ran for office and remained that hockey mom forever.
<>
ReplyDeleteIt's been lurking in the background for a long time, but I suspect that Joe discovered that Sarah Palin was sexually molested at a very early age, whether incestuously or otherwise, it is glaringly apparent to anyone who has worked with women with early sexual experiences. The way she carries herself, the history of promiscuity, the coarse, vile sexual imagery language she uses when referring to males, the come hither behavior, the lip licking, the inappropriate dress, the salacious actions, all learned and rewarded early on. My suspicion leans to her creepy father as the perpetrator, but it could have been anyone.
This early molestation is what caused the rage, the split personality sort of behavior...the split from a normal child to a female child who learned how to work her wiles and use her body to get what she wanted, attention and love. She still does it. We've all seen it. It's her survival mechanism from early childhood.
She may not even remember it, but she's been psychologically battling it ever since.
I have no proof, but for me it's very clear if one has ANY experience with early abuse victims of sexual molestation. It was probably around 6 or 8 that it happened...
didn't Joe say something about Sarah saying it wasn't healthy for girls to sleep with pajamas and they should sleep naked...WHO taught her that?
The more I see her the more it cements it for me that this is the case. And THIS is most likely what Joe left out.
Sarah hates men. She uses them, castrating them verbally whenever possible. She keeps playing the victim, because she WAS a victim. This is the big 'secret' that everyone knows, but nobody's talking.
Mistah Charley, ph.d. said, "...but keep in mind that doonesbury is propaganda and the satirical fictional creations of trudeau may suggest things, but they SHOW nothing at all - they are fiction"
ReplyDeleteSeriously? So Mistah Charley, after all your comments I see that you are a Palin apologist, or Palinista or whatever, after all. Doonesbury is publishing actual excerpts from Joe's book, a non-fiction book, yet you characterize those as propaganda, and fiction-saying they "suggest" things but show nothing at all. Hmmm. What is true is that the ultimate intent of the strip, Hedley's actions, are the satire. His spinning of the truth that the book reveals into something else that the repub party will tell their "true believers" it means instead of the truth.
Then you say:
"but joe mcginniss's decades-long close friendship with roger ailes has been reported as FACT - by mcginniss himself"
What the hell does that have to do with anything? Tell us. Because you do not, here. I will await your next post as to what this has to do with anything related to this book.
"that tells you something about him, and his "she went to bed with a colored athlete" reporting tells you something about him too, as well as something about sarah also"
Well, now mistah charley. *Colored* people? Really? What fucking century are you from?
"by their fruits shall ye know them"
Indeed. I was going to go on further from here, but I think I will not. mistah charley, so called ph.d., has already pulled his own pants down around his ankles and it ain't pretty. Look in the mirror you ass, your racism and ignorance is an embarrassment.

Piers Morgan proved once again that he is an odious, obnoxious twit.
ReplyDeleteGryphen seems like the only one who "gets" what real authors do. When an author approaches a source, they'r not trying to be their bff's 4 ever, they're after one thing and one thing only, information, sources, and contacts. Sounds like a lot of others in Alaska didn't understand that "relationship". Gryphen also understands that to get something, one has to give something in return. This is why Gryphen and Joe came out of this uscathed.
ReplyDeleteI've come to the point that any post that has "um" "i don't know" or "This I know is true..." just leads to a pile of undefensible, uniteresting, word salad from someone who's been indoctrinated to Palin worhip loyalty. They are funny to read.
I thought the red head was Kathy Griffith ;o) but Bekka makes more sense! Thanks Guys! Doonesbury was a brilliant idea!
On a sad note, I just watched Piers Morgan, clearly a panty sniffer and believer of all things palin says, he gave Joe about ten minutes tops, but Joe came out on top and slammed the lid on Piers's preconceptions of Joe and the motives he attributed to his choice of the house next door. Joe knows how to take command of an interview and hold his ground.
He deserved the whole show, dammit!
It was a small price to pay to see Joe in Action. I equate CNN with Fox News and never watch it. Wish John King would jump ship, but I don't miss him much either.
My husband and I watched the Piers Morgan interview with Joe tonight. I am really very irritated about it, too. Piers was downright rude, we felt. He only focused on the one night stand, cocaine use, her affair and kept talking about how strange it was that Joe rented the house next to the Palins. He tried to put words in Joe's mouth and twisted what Joe said. He never did give Joe a chance to elaborate on why he actually wrote the book. He was, obviously, trying to make Joe out to be a real wierdo (sp) and we felt that was pretty obvious. Altogether, a really disappointing interview. Joe managed to maintain his composure and handled it as well as he could.
ReplyDeleteI suddenly remembered why I never watch Piers Morgan. I checked him out when he first went on CNN and did not care for him.
We decided Joe gets an A for effort and class and Piers gets an F for behaving like a bully.
Pat Padrnos
"Um, Joe. Your boo is being criticized because it's trashy. It may be a well told story, but it's sleazy and underhanded. I don't care if every detail is true. You're a trashy writer and underwent unprofessional means to write it. That last bit I know for fact after speaking to several people.
ReplyDelete12:12 PM"
Exactly! He wrote about his subject. What he'd found was a fraud of epic proportions. It seems very easy to get away with a lot of shifty things in ak.
Hell, she even got paid while she changed diapers at home...er I mean while she slept at home.

The Rogue just downloaded to my iPad 2!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet Piers was on orders from a CNN producer. They love Palin at CNN. She's good for business.

ReplyDelete--- the hatred toward people like me out here has to do with more than the Palin-Heaths.
I've long been an opponent to the growth of religious influence on our schools, Christian Zionists and militant expansionist Zionism itself - along with the oil companies and right now - new coal development. With the coal battle heating up in the Valley and my deepening involvement, I'm in it for the long haul.
Thanks
Well, well -- quite the attack dog, Piers Morgan is! I'd like to see Piers Morgan interview Piers Morgan on his part in the phone-hacking scandal. And don't let yourself get a word in edgewise, Piers! What a sorry excuse for an interviewer.
ReplyDeleteTeutonic13, you are an ass of Palinistic proportions!
ReplyDeleteI did not write "consecutive posts" about Two For Tuesday. I wrote ONE per post and obviously other people commented on it themselves on this post.
What a jerk! I'm trying to do something nice for Gryphen and you call me "needy"? Yes, encouraging others to donate money to someone is just so NEEDY!
You obviously need a booster shot for your PDS. Sometimes a person trying to do a nice thing is just..a person trying to do a nice thing. There's no "there" there, dude.
@6:28 PM Susan in MD,
ReplyDeleteI have been checking in on the C4P site and noticed also that Mistah was posting there. Probably should have said something but I thought I would see how he played it. The first thing I noticed on C4P is that he didn't use the "ph.d" on the end of his name and thought he knew he had to leave that off so they wouldn't think he was an elitist.
Loved your last part of your post and hopefully now that Mistah has been outed he won't come back.

ReplyDeleteo/t Greta flips out on Tucker Carlson for covering the Tyson ESPN interview where he says all the horrid sexual comments about Sarah. Haven't watched the interview, but apparently she had Tucker on and flailed at him like a wild woman and completely displaced her aggression. Tucker's Daily Caller article was saying ESPN shouldn't have aired/egged on these types of comments and no one else has covered how outrageous he was.
ReplyDeleteCheck out the comments from Greta's viewers, who are PISSED and embarrassed by how she acted. Of course there's one lame ass troll repeating the same thing (that Tucker had once referred to Palin as a MILF) over and over and over again and not convincing anyone.

Just watched the interview repeat at 3am. Piers was an asshole.
ReplyDeletePiers ascribes his story gathering techniques when he worked at the Daily Mirror as the same that Joe would use.
Piers was/is sleazy, there is nothing sleazy about Joe. I've read Joe across the decades - because he not only is a quality writer, but his research is impeccable.
I've no idea why CNN chose to replace Larry King with Piers. I don't know why Joe even bothered to sit & try to talk to this windbag.
I'm looking forward to the delivery of my copy of Joe's book. Wonder what he'll do next.
Denise (Michigan)
Sure Trolls, I am sure they are just sitting around their kitchen laughing at all the bad things said about them. If they are they are the oddest people alive (which they appear to be so maybe you could be right).
ReplyDeleteThis is all Sarah's fault to begin with. If she valued her marriage, her children & herself she would have said NO when McCain asked her to run. I agree she certainly has no self-awareness but on some level she has got to realize that she is NOT the person she claims to be.
How could she expect all her past or any of her families past not to come out? Anyone with half a brain knows that if you choose to be in the spotlight you are fair game. She put herself out there and her whole family out there. You really don't see anyone else in her shoes putting their kids on stage all the time, etc.
That is the reason most of us do not know any other candidates children. They don't put their families out there because 1) the risk of harm 2) doesn't bring any attention to the good or bad their children/family may have done 3) it is just common sense not to give any more chance for their kids/family to be followed & bothered by the press.
I forgot, SP has NOT an ounce of common sense and ANY news is good news for her. I am convinced she thrives on attention - good or bad. I feel very sorry for her children.
Susan in MD seriously misunderstands my comments, accuses me of racism and ignorance, and because I used the term "colored" asks me "what fucking century are you from?"
ReplyDeleteActually, you are right, my use of the term "colored" is somewhat anachronistic. To answer your question directly, I am a time traveller from the first half of the twentieth century, getting from there to here one day at a time. well over twenty thousand and still counting. The NAACP, a prominent civil rights organization founded before I was born, used the term "colored people"; also in polite use during my lifetime so far are terms such as Negro, African-American, AfroAmerican, black, "person of color" (apparently a preferable term to "colored person").
"Telah" and "Ali Cat" applaud Susan's insults aimed at me, and the latter points out that I have also posted at the pro-Palin site c4p, which in their eyes convicts me of something or other. To that point, I offer a comment from http://www.lauranovakauthor.com/1/post/2011/9/sarah-is-such-a-tool.html by "jeff", who has actually read some of what I have written at c4p, and said
you are much more diplomatic than me on the C4P site. I am forced to lurk there instead of giving input because I spend most of my time on the "banned list" for trying to engage in adult discussion.
Engaging in adult discussion can be difficult at VARIOUS sites - but that's the way it goes - as entertainer and activist Wavy Gravy - an even older guy than I - put it, "As I told my mirror this morning, it's all done with people."
