This is such an amateurish job that I CANNOT believe that Van Susteren thought anybody would take it seriously.
So we all make noise about Palin looking sickly and possibly drugged yesterday and the day before, and then THIS picture suddenly shows up?
Didn't I have this effect on her once before when she was in Hawaii? Why yes I did!
Can somebody please ask Joe McGinniss if he is SURE that Sarah Palin does not read the blogs? Cause it kind of looks like she does!

While others run on pavement, she runs on grass.
While others simply have blurry feet in still photos, she also blurs the GROUND. And leaves a nice little "snipping tool" seam around her left foot.
She's just so REAL, I think I'm going to cry.
It would be interesting to see what the logo says on the white long sleeve shirts that so many of the race participants are wearing. I has to be an event shirt - if I knew what it says, I might be able to figure out when the race occurred. The weather hasn't been cold enough in Iowa recently to require anyone to dress in layers.
ReplyDeleteOld Mavericky Palin can't even run on the roadway like everyone else. According to that "picture" her next step would put her flat on her face - unless she is able to run in culverts. Bad Photoshop indeed. I have been trying to figure out exactly what happened this weekend in Iowa. Even anon238's remarks create more questions than they answer. If Palin is so messed up, why not make some excuse and stay home. (I think she tried that with the COD diva meltdown - until it backfired/) Still, if her "handlers" are so concerned about her mental state, why not just put her on ice for a while and keep up the FB and Twitter assaults? Did Sarah need to show up in order to "refutiate" Cheney's prediction, or was it payback to a large donor to her Sarah PAC? Whatever. One thing is certain: her supporters in attendance at the restaurant meet and greet must have been bitterly disappointed when Sarah didn't at least get up and say a few words. So out of character for her. Can we hope that the nightmare is soon to be over? (Puleeze?)

Ok, so Sarah Heath from Des Moine finished second in the 40-49. Why in the world would Sarah Palin run in a 1/2 marathon in a small town in Iowa and not say boo to anyone? No news outlet has picked this up yet. Who crossed the finish line as Sarah Heath?

I think they fake put her in a running photo and sent it to Greta, but Sarah only showed up at the finish line for a photo op.
Easy to look up who had a number that starts with 63 in that particular race. Also, everyone is on the street, when you run in an event, WHO jumps up on the grass and runs around people? The "fog" of the picture isn't as strong surrounding her as the rest of the picture. FAIL.

ReplyDeleteA joke? Greta published Sarah ran it in 1:45. SUPER WOMAN for 47 and not in training. I walked in the SGKoman 3day/60 mile, and trained for 5 months. I think there is noooooooooooo way, but will wait until they post the final times for this race. Interesting that they have posted the times on the other two races, but not the one "our" Sarah finished in 1:45. Yeah...right. I think she probably spent as much time here as she did in KC. Believe me, if she showed in KC at the WW1 Museum, she WOULD have been noticed. More of SP lies.

ReplyDeleteNotice the manhole cover and concrete enclosure directly behind Palin, then follow the path of her feet. Looks like she floated over that obstacle. Wouldn't an experienced runner have avoided it beforehand by moving into the street, or by taking a wider berth in the grassy area? (I'm not a runner, so only speculation on my part.)

Since when is Sarah from Des Moines? There are other Sarah Heath's in the country and I know there are one or two in Iowa. She wasn't able to trademark that name.

McGinniss doesn't know what he's talking about, and it's so clear that he has a huge disdain for his audience. What a dumb way to start off promoting your book.
As for the picture, I did immediately laugh when I saw it. It was such an obvious response to you, Gryphen. I was more thinking that it was a response to you saying that she claims to be a runner, but no one's ever seen her run.
In her defense, I have actually seen old pics on Getty Images of her running in marathons. Whether she's as big of a runner as she proclaims or not, at least we do have some evidence of her running before.
As usual with Palin, she probably exaggerates it.
The wording they chose seems a little Palinese to me (suggested new word, btw...). See how this comment lies without exactly lying:

It is a weird looking photo but I think there are too many details here to deny that she did, in fact, run the half-marathon. I think she is a crazy bitch but I give her props for doing the race. I try but I am a terrible runner and could never approach an 8-minute mile for a 5K, much less 13.1, even though I am pretty slim. Maybe she can do it even if she is hopped up on something half the time. Some people are built that way.
And given there is a "Sarah Heath" in the official results and that supposed time of 1:45 WOULD put her near the top of her age group for that race, historically, I guess it looks like she did indeed finish in that time frame.
Still, I can't stand her and am hoping that AnonMeAgain is the real thing.
It's especially noticable when looking at color and contrast between her "outfit" and the others. She looks like she's bundled up to run at 30 plus degrees instead of the higher temps in Iowa. The headband over the ears is the dead giveaway on that.

The runners on the right side of the picture do not look like back of the pack runners. Sarah is way overdressed for a runner. Maybe she is hiding all the needle marks on her arms.

2 person teams, and the Des Moines, Iowa team consisted of Julie Marks and sarah heath.
So the team ran a 1:45, each runner going 6.5 miles, with an average time of 52.5 minutes per runner. A little over 8 minutes per mile per runner.
There is no way frail, sickly looking sarah ran 6.5 miles, and maintained an 8:00 per mile pace.
There had to be a "ringer" dressed exactly like sarah is in that fake pic.

She was registered to to walk in the 'Jump Right in and Run' half marathon and 5k walk here in beautiful Storm Lake, Iowa, so we had to hurry home from the big Tea Party of America rally that Governor Palin spoke at held in Indianola Iowa on Saturday.
I was still in bed at a little after 7am this morning when my wife called me in near hysterics that she had just met Todd and Sarah Palin as she was getting ready to start the event! Unbelievably... they were here in town!
What a treat after witnessing her amazing speech the day before; here she was in my hometown for a run.
Needless to say I jumped out of bed and got down by the lake in time to wait along with Todd for Sarah to finish the half marathon (she had a very good time) ...Todd said, 'yeah, she's fast."
Her reported time: 1:45...that's for 13.1 miles.
I am blown away! No one even knew who they were. Wearing visors and sunglasses, with no entourage or people around them, they just kind of blended right in.
They said they got in to town the night before and were flying out for New Hampshire today for her big speech Monday at another Tea Party event..
After speaking with them for a while I let them go sort of mingle with others, I didn't want be a pest after all, but before they left they came back over to me and my wife, thanked us again and said they were so happy to
meet us, then stood for a quick picture.
Only as they were leaving did a few people start to notice who they were. Most had no clue.
This was not a campaign event, this was some personal time for Governor Palin to get in a good run in a beautiful setting and they didn't want anyone to even know they had slipped in. Very low profile. Amazing they can pull this off.
But to the people who did recognize her, she was as gracious and friendly as one could be. You can just tell she loves people, is very sincerely interested in learning about you and what's going on in the area.
The perfect way to top off an amazing weekend.

ReplyDeleteAnd then there's REAL President, doing his job as he always does, and bringing JOY wherever he travels. You can't FAKE the expressions on these people's faces, the adoring children, the swooning adults, it's so astonishing to see the effect he has on people. I love our President and the warmth and sincerity that he carries with him and doles out freely to everyone who comes into contact with him. He's like a bright shining light of positive and optimistic energy. Even when he's angry or frustrated, he's fully in charge of himself. It's so inspiring.

This looks like the start of the race. Notice all the folks who are just walking the event? To get ahead of the starting mob, it makes sense to run around them, in this case on the grass. (Running on grass is also easier on the feet and joints, btw.)

I doubt that most of us spend ALL our time blogging (tho lately I've been a bit avid, waiting for the babygate hoaxer to be exposed) and certainly many of us are politically active. That said, I still plan to buy his book on Palin, plus Levi's, "Fred's" babygate book and any others that contribute to the failed ex-governor's political downfall.

Either she is photoshopped-in (which I believe), or she *DID* start and then was bused to near the end, but in her zeal to show how fit she is, she jumped the shark and went into the crowd too early at the end.
ReplyDeleteLook at that skinny front leg! THAT IS NOT A RUNNERS LEG!!! A runner's leg would be well-defined, with plenty of rounded muscles in her calf area - NOT the flat outline that is shown! The flat-muscled calf is not even from a walker. I betcha with those calf muscles, she would not be able to do that speed-walk she did while '6 or 7 months pregnant' with TriG during that video where she walked with the reporter on icy roads to her home.!
She probably WAS in the race at the beginning as that picture shows, Gryphen (I don't think it was photoshopped, after looking at it @ x400). And she probably was in the race at the end.

ReplyDeleteSarah is sweating on her neck due to menopause and side effects from medication. I know, I deal with it too. Antidpressants will do that, so will antianxiety meds. Menopause of course is kicking in and the hot flashes and sweats are ungodly. With the frail state of her body, the drugs and menopause, plus any humidity that was in the air, it's a perfect cocktail for getting wringing wet.

He was at the end of the race with Todd, by a lake, which this picture is clearly not by.
He took the running picture from Greta's blog. The other picture--where Sarah is not running--is genuine.
I just don't think that picture of her running is genuine. Maybe she jumped in later in the race to show up at the finish line. It would not be surprising for her to do things like that.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many ways to fake results in a small town race like this. I am a runner and even though I'm 64 now, when I was 48 I was able to run a 1:25 half marathon and sub-3 hour marathon. Now I can run 1:49 in a half and I train all the time. No way that Sarah ran 1:45 at that half marathon in Storm Lake. I will see a running friend of mine tomorrow who lives in Storm Lake - my friend ran the 5K at the same event in Storm Lake. It will be interesting to see what she knows about this.

ReplyDeleteIf ex governor QUITTER palin wanted some 'personal' time to run, why enter a marathon (under sarah heath- how incognito is THAT?) knowing results would be published? She was in it for the publicity. And just like in Wa state a few years back (yes, I remember) she most likely didn't run the entire course.
I'll bet there was a stealth vehicle involved--didn't this happen once before? Methinks she was running BEHIND the pack, then photographed and quickly retouched in over the curb since it would be impossible to insert SP (or is it SH?) into the crowd and make her stand out. People can do a lot with iPads on the go, crappy job or not (the focus field is strange). It's easier for her to run a bit, then jump back into the car and drift on over somewhere close to the finish line. Bogus as usual, but this kind of "Superwoman" shenanigan really attracts the slathering rubes. Why didn't she make a big effin' deal about this yesterday if she IS a runner, I wonder? Did someone come up with this little PR brainstorm this morning?

The morning after Palin’s speech at a tea party rally in Indianola, Greta Van Susteren of Fox News posted a photo she said was snapped of Palin during the “Jump Right in and Run” half-marathon organized by the Storm Lake Running Club.
Hannah Campbell, webmaster of the Storm Lake Running Club, confirmed the former Alaska governor’s participation in the event. She said Palin’s official time was 1 hour 46 minutes 10 seconds.
A tweet from Palin this afternoon mentioned her Storm Lake stop: “Thank you, Storm Lake, Iowa. You put on a great event & we loved meeting some great folks in your beautiful town today!”
Curiously, the name Palin isn’t listed anywhere on the race records. But there is a mysterious second-place finisher under the age “40-49 Results – Women” results named Sarah Heath. She listed herself as from Des Moines.
Heath is Palin’s maiden name. Said runner is also 47 years old — the same age as Palin.
Campbell confirmed that Palin ran under her former name.
“No one in our planning committee knew prior to her half-marathon finish that she was even registered for the race,” said Campbell in an email. “After learning that Mrs. Palin had run the race, a volunteer for the event realized that a man she recognized during packet pick-up on Saturday evening was actually Todd Palin.”
Remember back on her fake family vacation - they came upon a look-a-like Sarah!! After they met and Sarah had said to give her info to someone - she conveniently appeared outside of the bakery and the media filmed her walking in.

ReplyDeleteThere are photos from last year's race - the link is available on the running club's website. I've done various fun runs and the photographers always make a point of getting a photo of each runner because they want every runner to buy one of themselves.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of yesterday's race aren't available yet, but if we keep an eye on the running club's website, they'll probably be up soon. Usually takes about a day or so. Some of the ones I've been in, you can even search all photos by your race number, so perhaps they could be searched that way.

Gryphen, it is not hard to believe that SP ran that half marathon. And that does not mean that she is not unhealthy! Her running may be the only thing that keeps her sane. BTW: My sister in law had an eating disorder AND was a marathon runner and would routinely do 400 sit ups a day!! Over exercising is a part of eating disorders. I have no doubt that she ran that race. Maybe she has shifted into her manic state. Just sayin.

Everyone's acting like she ran the whole 13.1k. The time is admirable and respectable, but much less AMAZING when you know she only did half of it, and her partner did the other.
It's much harder to keep up that pace running a full 13.1k, in comparison to 6.5k.
The Republican sites will never make that distinction, of course.
Well, here's one thing. All over the website for the race, it says "NO SAME DAY REGISTRATION." So she had to have planned at least a little in advance.

It could be the angle, but it does look like her arm is missing.
But the coincidence of the C4P guy and the fact that every pro-Palin website seems to have received the picture simultaneously is what really gives me pause.
Also, I just noticed that Julie Marks, her partner, came in first. So who knows just how close that split was. Julie could have only taken 45 minutes while Palin took an hour. Who knows.

Uuhhhh. Have you never heard Paylin speak? As soon as she opens her mouth all her internal sickness and illness and unhealthiness spews out.
Not to mention the reports of her lack of personal hygenic practices, like wearing a soiled outfit to a public event, while flopping around in shoes too big for her feet.
Last but not least, if you look at the pictures where she is sticking out her tongue, notice how gross it is with the tongue's white coating of toxins.
Paylin is a walking billboard for a person who is full of noxious toxicity on many levels.
if she was running the second half of a tag team, and the team basically came in first place for their age group, there is no way that there would be that many walkers, nor would everyone be packed together like that. she may have run (maybe her partner ran more miles than she did?) but that photo is a poorly put together publicity photoshop piece of at least three separate pictures.

Is it REALLY that important that her supporters believe that she can still run a marathon?
And how would THEY even know what WE are talking about? Do they hang out here too?
Or is it only Sarah who comes here, takes offense, and then demands that her people fight back?
That, by the way, is exactly what Bailey said in his book that she did concerning comments on ADN. So there is definitely a pattern.
But everybody does understand that it is pathological to do that though, right?

Yesterday, Sarah had tons of under arm sweat in that sweater, yet she runs a marathon and has none as seen in the after photo with the couple.
