Kyle Massey may be Bristol Palin‘s buddy and roommate, but he’s not pleased about her homophobic freak out at Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood Thursday night.
HollywoodLife.com caught up with Kyle over the weekend, who reluctantly commented on Bristol’s behavior. At first, Kyle wasn’t going to say anything about the situation, but his older brother, Chris, spoke out first saying, “We didn’t have anything to do with that, we don’t know what’s going on with that…”
After that, Kyle chirped in, adding, “We don’t condone what happened!”
I have to imagine that there are some very angry phone calls going back and forth between the brothers and their agents.
I know that everything on these shows is fake, but it seems the one REAL part of this "reality show" might be that the Massey brothers had NO idea what the hell they were getting themselves into.
You know if they would have just bothered to take time to Google "Bristol Palin" they could have saved themselves all kinds of possibly career ending drama.
By the way I wanted to take this opportunity to let you guys know that I AM still working on a review, and addendum, to Levi's book.
As you know there have been more than a few distractions, But I have started the process, which will still take a few days, and be made up of two different posts.
After I finish you will have to deal, as I have for two years, with what the revelations add, or undermine, about what you think you know about Levi, Sarah, Bristol, Trig, and Tripp.
I wish I could promise that this information will make things clearer, but sadly that I cannot do.

ReplyDeleteI hope she realizes that she needs to set aside a certain percentage of her chin's earnings in a trust fund so that when it comes of age and decides to leave her sorry ass of a face, it can access that money and start living on its own.
Her chin might end up wanting to share housing with her many, many abandoned and/or alienated children, "godsons," "pregnancy scares," "Bentleys," and so forth. She owes it to that chin to give it every possible chance to live a decent life one day.
Hollywood would not be the best place for gay-bashing, not if you want to continue to enjoy the benefits of goodwill in the make-up trailer, costume trailer, on camera, etc. There's probably not a more sure-fire career-killer, unless that is you have a huge talent, have already established a successful track record as a marquee moneymaker, or otherwise are already A list.

ReplyDeleteAs for your review of Levi's book, well, I've decided not to read the book, because it is clear that Levi has contradicted himself multiple times. The question we need to ask is why? I still learn toward the theory that Trig is Bristol and Levi's son, stolen from them when he was born prematurely, frail, and with multiple disabilities. There was no formal adoption. Levi and Bristol are, in essence, being blackmailed. If they tell the truth, they will have to take possession of Trig, and all his medical and therapy related bills. They know they can't do this, they can't properly provide for him, and because they love and want the best for him, they keep their mouths shut. The problem is that Levi is a terrible liar, and thus, he contradicts himself.
I cancelled Levi's book based on your earlier comments, but if you think it's worth reading, I will reorder it. I wanted to support him, but not to the extent of buying worthless material thrown together just to get on the gravy train.

I may not be paying enough attention to what has been written about Bristol's little incident, but your the first I've seen who has pointed out her homophobic talk. That should've have gotten as much attention as the incident itself. It also say's alot about how she was raised and how the family viewed gays. If nothing more, it certainly says a lot about Bristol's ignorance and lack of tolerance toward gays. Every gay in American should be raising hell about what Bristol said how she judges gays. When they were on DWTS, they lived in a 'bubble' and Brisket bullshited them all the way. You could tell by all the 'stars' supporting Brisket for being there. ReplyDeleteAbout reality shows -- not everything is scripted. This I know for sure because one of my nephews is a celebrity and has appeared in a couple reality shows. A few sort of outrageous things happened in the shows, and I asked whether it was part of the scripted and both he and his agent told me no, not in the script, and that they just had to flow along with it best they could.
Of course, reality shows are set up so that outrageous things can and do happen and get filmed. So...some of it is scripted and some is not, but still filmed and included in the show.

2. All people in the Wasilla community that might have ever seen Sarah and/or Todd snorting cocaine.

She has no improvising skills and stayed "on script" even when it don't flow naturally with the dialog. The bar guy most have thought that was the worst acting job he had ever taken. Everything he tried to get going hit a wall with Bristol's poor acting skills. I think she should go right to mud-wresting. No talking and all hair-pulling and scratching.

She's been in LA for a long time now (a year ago we were suffering through her staged sex on TV) and should have picked up some clues about how to dress in LA, particularly when cameras follow you around. Even her son is not properly dressed for warm weather. Whoever his dad is, I'm sure they would be a better parent.

A few sort of outrageous things happened in the shows, and I asked whether it was part of the scripted and both he and his agent told me no, not in the script, and that they just had to flow along with it best they could.

I watched the news this morning and they introduced Mrs. Bush as Former First Lady Barbara Bush.
Why do they keep calling the quitter by the title Governor Palin? She can't even govern her own family! So far Track and Willow dropped out of high school and Sarah had to beg, plead and call in favors for Bristol to get her ceremonial diploma.
I recall back when they first announced the reality show with Bristol/Kyle/Chris, many commenters were saying how worried they were that the Massey brothers would unintentionally get sucked up into the Palin drama. They are real professionals, nice young men.

He supposedly explained "legally actionable" things to her and she is watching me like a hawk. However, I plan to stay far, far away from anything "actionable".
So I had been thinking of all manner of ways to transmit my stuff to Gryphen without risking my security...I'd thought about couriers (as someone mentioned) and doing a. "drop" somewhere...and then I thought to myself...this is utterly insane. It's time to sink or swim. Time to put up or shut up, fish or cut bait, so on and so forth.
When I get home I'm just going to "suck it up, buttercup" and let the chips fall where they may.

OT: I was saddened to see Joe McGinness listed as one of Keith Olbermann's "Worst Persons in the World" last night. KO really got his feathers fluffed because he was accused of canceling the interview when the winds changed.

I got my October issue of Texas Monthly in the mail yesterday and in it was an account of something that happened on the set of one of the several reality shows filming in Texas.The scene is similar to the way Bristol's "reality" episode played out.

A producer quickly gestured to a third cast member and urged him to enter the dispute, presumably to play mediator. When A. stormed off, her blonde curls flouncing in indignation, one group of cameramen scurried after her while another stayed behind to chronicle L's easy does it reaction. Drama delivered. "

Bristol loves the homosexuals who covered her in a gorilla costume and helped strap her into the corset and body stockings every week on DWTS. In fact, she was telling her rainbow and unicorn friends in the magical land of Juneau that every week, she met and more and more homosexuals, as it took more and more of them to tighten the corset. Bristol is very blunt and says those homosexuals really know about costumes. Also music and dancing, but not as much as those African Americans. Bristol is blunt and not afraid of life and whatnot.
Speaking of African Americans (as Bristol often does, although not as much as using her impressive homosexual-dar to sniff out homosexuals who might not like her mother because they are fagg-...I mean homosexuals), the Massey brothers had such a great time in Alaska, hanging out with all the people who love the Palins.

As a lot of you know, I had an encounter in West Hollywood the other day with an unhinged guy who was yelling hateful things at me about my Mom. The press has only shown a part of the encounter, so many reporters have totally missed the point of my comments. Most people may have walked away rather than go up to some guy raging like that and try to find out what his problem is. But that’s not how I’m wired. I usually do walk away, but I'm very tired of hateful people lying about my Mom, my family, and myself. So, this time I tried to get to the bottom of it.
I asked the guy if the reason he was so angry at my Mom was because he was gay. I was NOT baiting him or mocking him or in any way being derogatory of gays. It was just the opposite! I know that some members of the gay community have completely false notions about my Mom. I wanted to clear this up with this guy, but he was so far gone in his crazy hatred that rational conversation was impossible.
I think so much of the hatred directed at my Mom is based on lies and misconceptions about her and our family. It’s gotten so out of control that a 40-something guy in West Hollywood started shrieking obscenities at the top of his lungs and wishing death on my Mom, just at the thought of her. She hasn't done anything to warrant his hatred, and I wanted to address that.
As I said to that hate-filled guy in West Hollywood: Show me one thing my Mom has done that is so “evil” as to warrant the hatred and death wishes people heap on her and her kids.
The crazy guy had no answer because there is no answer. You can disagree with her politics without vilifying her or lying about us.
Isn’t it time for this crazy hatred to stop? That’s what I was trying to say to that guy.
