We entered the police station and presented the paperwork that Shailey had given her mother, and about twenty minutes later they came out with a clear plastic bag full of evidence bags that were sealed with police tape, and a box sealed in a similar manner. You can see them pictured below.
However Shailey's mom (Who is a darling woman by the way.) has mailed the items you see pictured above to Shailey's attorney and they should be there sometime tomorrow. So fairly soon we should be hearing some very specific bits of information from Shailey on her blog. (She told me that some of the REALLY sensitive info was included in the returned items, so she already has access to some very explosive proof.)
By the way for those who are constantly calling Shailey's story in to question, I want you to know that I have done some checking around, and that it is EXTRAORDINARILY unusual for the police to withhold evidence that has been released by the prosecutor.
Essentially this is simply never done, therefore it does not exactly take a Sherlock Holmes to understand that the police are doing this to protect themselves, or on the orders of somebody who is NOT associated with the prosecutors office.

A Canadian friend of mine's boss just went to TIFF and saw Nick's movie. She says that she found the movie to be a bit lopsided and not balanced enough. It was "Michael Mooreish", she felt.

ReplyDeleteIf she needs to prove her phone contacts, she may be able to get them from her online phone bills. I had to reconstruct my contacts on my new phone when the Verizon clerk screwed up and wiped my phone in the process of transferring. I went back through 12 months of bills on line and got back my 200+ contacts the hard way. Don't let the lack of the actual phone stop you from getting the proof.

I still say it is possible that Trigg is Bristols. I think Tripp was her second baby. I think when she went away with mono, she gave birth to Trigg and hurried home so pictures could be taken with Levi. How would Levi know she was pregnant since she went away. It could have even been fathered by someone else. Just because Levi swears it was Sarah's baby, he probably knew nothing. He was young and would believe anything Sarah and Bristol told him. Bristol probably told Levi herself that Sarah just had a baby.

ReplyDeleteI experienced the police in Nome playing games with my property and it was not even evidence. It took me a very long time to get it. They told one lie after another, it was really sick. Then when I finally did get it the cop told me, "You just don't understand how we do things around here." The only thing missing was the boss hog southern drawl. I believe they all get their advice from the DOL. It may be unusual for them to do this, but they do it when they want to harass someone. In Shailey's case I would not be surprised to find the information on her electronic devices was gone. If so that would be a reason for them to delay their release. Perhaps the cell phone she did not get has some explosive information they want to delay. It will be interesting to find out what their condition is.

I too tend to believe that Trigg was Bristol's and then when Bristol & Levi wouldn't agree to let Sarah adopt Trigg she just decided to STEAL him by announcing her suprise pregnancy so they were forced to go along with it because it became a national campaign important matter (save America, our guns and bibles).
ReplyDeleteI believe that Sadie's computer (especially photos) were erased by campaign operatives AND that naive teenager Levi (at the time) was forced/talked into against his best interests at the time to sign a contract saying that he cannot EVER tell certain things. So we are left to fill in the blanks.

PS - Am I imagining things or was it not on this blog at sometime promised that it would be revealed the connection between Tripp Johnston's name and Shailey Tripp. WHAT IS THE CONNECTION? WE WANT TO KNOW! WHEN WILL WE BET TOLD AND BY WHOM?
Even if the contacts and logs are deleted they can probably still be recovered.
ReplyDeleteI doubt the APD has the technical savvy to change a lightbulb, much less properly delete from a storage device so that it's contents cannot be recovered.
If the data is indeed deleted such that it cannot be recovered, that is evidence that they are covering something up. You don't just "accidentally" delete data from a disk in a way that the data cannot be recovered.
You took Shailey's mom over to get the stuff. I think you are an all around Knight in Shining Armor. You always seem to be helping out ladies who need some help.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say I will also be blogging about this in a few days. Everyone has great and sound suggestions. Everything is being handled in a very secure way. As it seems nothing is ever simple. There are layers and layers of complications. However, I have said this before, everything I need to protect myself we already had before I got my things back. But in the medias eyes and seemingly the publics eyes it was imparative to validate my story by getting my property back. But now that some of it has been with held and some of it has been given to me we have to deal with that first. Then we have to validate what we actually did get back. Then we have to plan what we want to do about it. Then I will blog about what is actually going on. but it was great of my mom and gryphen to do this on my behalf!

I've been following Shailey's site since it's inception. She's a very beilievable, genuine person, and I find what she has to say very interesting and informative. Malia's been following the corruption of the police in AK for a long time, and I wouldn't put it past them to cover up for Todd. But whatever the phone holds, I hope it's retrievable by some tech saavy person.
ReplyDeleteMy son had his iphone stolen and it was broken to bits and soaked in the rain, we found a place that was able to retrieve his information, call logs, phone contacts, etc and have them put on his new phone. Maybe Gryph has contacts from Sadie's experience that can help if need be.
Gryphen, you're a good man and a true friend. The world needs more people like you in it.
