These first five are of Pioneer Peak, right outside of Wasilla.
These last three are of Wasilla lake.
I swear if the city of Wasilla had any sense they would hire Dennis to make up a pamphlet to attract tourists to their town.
Nobody makes the area around Wasilla look more beautiful than Dennis does! In my humble opinion.
Simply Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSarah has left an odor of sulfur over Wasilla.
ReplyDeleteOver 20 years ago, I had visited Alaska twice for a few weeks each time. Both times I was there was in the middle of winter and I fell in love with your beautiful state! Over the years I would tell anyone that would listen that if I ever visited Alaska in the summer, I may never come back. Then along came $arah and she took away some of the beauty of your state and I stopped telling people how much I loved your state.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing me the beauty again!
Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a place I'd like to visit, if only it didn't look so cold!
Spectacular. If I lived there, I would never want to be inside. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh, breathtaking photos! They make me homesick! (former Willow, AK, Mile Post 92.5 resident)
ReplyDeleteWow. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have a view from your window as exquisite as that!
ReplyDeleteDennis Zaki's photography is simply exquisite too.
Stunning! Thanks to you and Dennis for sharing the beauty with us.

Dennis - which lake is that?
ReplyDeleteGlorious photos! Gryph, you are right; the city should definitely hire Dennis to shoot promotional photos for visitors.

Clearly Dennis loves the landscape. Thanks for sharing. It's majestic.
ReplyDeleteI've said this before. how can a State with such awesome beauty, also produce such an evil, ugly human as AS, Sarah.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Texas when the clouds we white and the sky was high.
ReplyDeleteSeeing that clean clear air both warms my heart and makes me sad.
We visited Alaska twice and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever experienced. It should be on everyone's bucket list.
ReplyDeleteZak's art does it justice. But for me (with a few exeptions) it's Alaska's people, their rich and diverse cultures, that make Alaska breathtaking.
