You know what the country REALLY needs is a smart well spoken young man like this to run for President. Wait, what?

Such potential that young man possessed.  Before the reality of racism, Republican obstructionism, and American pessimism stole his naivete.

However I am still proud of him and ready to do my part to reinforce that 29 year old man's confidence in his country.

I believe in this country. I believe more in the best in us rather than the ugliness magnified by powerful conservative interests.

I still believe in Hope & Change, and will be casting my vote for Barack Obama again.

Notice how he says "our history" and not "black history?"

When I first heard Mr. Obama speaking in 2004, I was riveted. I scoured the net, devouring anything I could get my hands on that he had written, that had been written about him, any video interviews, talks, ANYTHING I could find to learn more about this amazing person I had only just come to know of.

I found myself excited and enthralled when I listened to his speeches, watched him with his wife and children, and other people's children, and pretty much everyone he comes in contact with. That dazzling smile putting everyone as ease. He is such a positive, optimistic person that he uplifts me every time I listen to him. I feel honored to have watched him grow into my President.

My support and my enthusiasm has not waned. Not one single bit. He is the best thing that has happened to this country in my lifetime, and I'm nearly six decades born and living in this country.

I cannot wait for him to begin campaigning in earnest. There is NOBODY better.

Just reading his books blew me away. He had my vote at "hello", and he's earned my vote this time.
