Michelle Obama with Jimmy Fallon last night.

I have to admit that I totally missed this last night.

I had an exhausting day and made it to the very beginning of Fallon's monologue and that's pretty much all I remember.

Of course thanks to the wonder of the internet I had the opportunity to watch the segment this morning and then share it with all of you as well.

On a side note my daughter came home last night and wanted to talk politics. She said that there is a LOT of enthusiasm among her friends for this next election and that everybody she knows is voting Obama.

She also watched that science fair in the White House video and said THAT was the kind of man that she was proud to support in 2012.

I love that kid!

New keyboard time...that outfit Jimmy was sporting was HILARIOUS along with the Rocky soundtrack. And the sidekick Secret Service guy...what a youthful, energetic demonstration in the stuffy old White House. Perfect that they did it in the Blue Room with the prior Presidents looking on, secretly smiling at the joy in front of them.

And the sack race was AWESOME! First Lady in a potato sack photo goes round the world! Love you Michelle and Jimmy never disappoints!

And Gryphen, your daughter obviously found science and logic more to her liking than religious dogma, and for that I'm sure we have you to thank as well.

Usually I feel indifference towards First Ladies. To be truthful, I pretty much ignored them.

    But I really like Michelle.

We have identical sense of humors.

I got sidetracked watching something else. Totally forgot about it until about 4 seconds before it aired. Clicked the Clicker & voila -- just in time.

It was good. I loved the pic of Bo and Jimmy together!!

Great video for a very worth while initiative. I was just hoping you got permission to play "Eye of the Tiger', unlike Newt.

    FYI -

In light of this Komen debacle, some Democratic Senators have started a movement called One Million Women Strong. Sign up for it here (they did not ask for donations):

    Huff post about it:

When is Sarah going to tweet that she could beat up jimmy Fallon and take flotus? Michelle puts her to shame. Mrs Obama is in better shape doesn't have to fake running races and is a great mother. Eat your heart out granny grifter.

They did a respectful job with that awareness piece. It was fun and well done.

    O/T

Found an interesting comment on one of the many stories about Komen and Handel. Has that 'familiar' bagger ring to it:

"She didn't graduate high school, she worked at Hallmark Cards and then latched on to Marilyn Quayle as a PR adjunct, and is in fact taking a play right from Marilyn's playbook, who served as the National Cancer Institute's national spokesperson for NCI's Breast Cancer Summits and opposing abortion during Danny's Veep debacle. She received essentially a political appointment when KPMG hired her in ATL back in 1994. KPMG had many Republicans to keep happy at the moment. She's not smart, but she's clever, capable of snotty deceit and probably destined for leadership of some fringe movement. Mean spirited is the phrase I've been searching for. She's mean spirited. This is not conjecture."

Schooling -- it just gets in the way it appears as we've seen it play out over and over again. It's definitely a 'generational' thing with them.

  13. Michelle is more than physically beautiful--she positively glows. I can't decide if it's confidence, or empathy, or character. Maybe it's all the vegetables.

That little celebratory dance that secret service guy Harry did at the end was adorable.

The thing I love about Michelle Obama is that she doesn't take herself too seriously. She always makes everyone who comes in contact with her feel comfortable. And I think she still is in awe of where she gets to live and what she gets to do. She's humble and grateful.

Gotta love when FLOTUS broke camp to hit those stairs (whilst giggling) ~ and Harry's elation at the end!

This Presidency is truly like no other . . . and I kinda like their uniqueness being put on full display, especially in the people's house!

    She's got game!

Fallon, staff and FLOTUS had fun with this. Physical activity can be fun. MO is authentic about her commitment to health.

How Palin took that, twisted it, then used her lie like a club to beat MO down, then put herself up bringing cookies was abusive. Palin is consistent as a lying manipulator all to her advantage serving false impression of self abusing others manipulating negative fiction of her targets. Palun makes stuff up to control her position.

Sigh, Palin and toxic ilk are masters of knocking people down with words due to major character defects.
