Michelle Obama on the Late Show last night.

As usual the First Lady was poised, intelligent, and genuinely funny.

You can see parts two and three by clicking the links.

Get ready for a Sarah Palin....I mean Nancy French....I'm sorry, "Bristol Palin" attack on David Letterman, and condemnation for Michelle Obama for appearing on the Late Show in 3..2..1

Thanks, I thought it was just me or maybe more traffic from the vimeo of Game Change. So grateful you posted it for those who couldn't see it.

So, Willow will demand an apology from FLOTUS because she's being groomed for her new career as a grifter?

I love that woman. Smart, funny, classy. One of our best first ladies, in my opinion.

She's gracious and classy, even when doing humor. She's a role model for all women.

  7. The entire Obama family is my personal antidote for the bizarre sickness enveloping this great Nation owing to the antics of the hateful and selfish right wing candidates and their minions.

There was a time when I thought no one could be worse than Bush/Cheney but I'm walking that back big time now! It's no longer just partisan politics. What we're seeing now I fear are the opening salvos to a new civil war. The killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida may be our new Ft Sumter moment.

And in Alaska, they are trying to remove the duty to retreat from our self defense laws. Go to BASIS and check out HB 80. If they succeed, we may well have our very own tragedies.

Let's keep Trayvon Martin's name out there. In a way he has become all of our son. Justice will prevail for him. The murderer will be arrested.

I love how she called "Bo" her "son"! As a dog person...I consider my K-9's/pets part of my family.
Cue the Wasilly whining 3,2,1 crying for attention!
There really is NO comparison and what a bullet we dodged in 08!

It's the simple things like this that make me love this man so much. That he took the time and interest to learn how to sign, really speaks to him being president to ALL Americans. He and Michelle are so to be admired.

  14. Let me guess: The skanky Palins will say how the First Lady is pallin' with pedophiles. right? Maybe something like how Michelle is an elitist, trying to take our desserts away, and of course, Obama, blah, blah, blah.
The Palins are so predictable, it's sad. And her flying monkeys are nothing more than ignorant mouthpieces.

    Dear Sarah and Bristol:

See? This is what people really respond to: humor, self-deprecation, quick wit. A person who's clearly alive, awake, and comfortable in her own skin.

A woman who can wear a very up-to-the-minute color-blocked dress (the latest style, by the way), which is flattering and vibrant, but who's not trying to look anything but her age. A woman who doesn't have a perfect face, but who laughs enough so she, and we, don't notice. A woman who's the exact same age, by a month, as Sarah Palin, but whose grace and charisma not only make her seem far younger, but timeless.
A woman who could claim "victim" many times over, but who has risen above her troubles and her enemies. The kinds of lies and slurs that people have said about her on blogs have been as ugly as the human mind can imagine. Does she dwell on them and demand apologies? No -- she thinks up new ideas, new initiatives, and moves on.
    She's happy.

That's why she's so popular, Sarah and Bristol. She's positive, optimistic, smart, reliable.
You might both try it sometime. Start with a smile. Start with a kind thought about someone else. Start with the joy of life. Take little baby steps, because this will feel so unfamiliar. But, if you work at it, you'll learn that doing these things is the beginning of being a "Christian."
Come on, now, one little smile for us? Remember, God loves you. Do it for Him?
    Yours truly,

Thank you for such a perfectly exquisite description of FLOTUS Michelle Obama - timeless.

Mrs. Obama will always be beautiful, no matter home many candles on her birthday cake.

Like Eleanor Roosevelt, and Laura Bush, this First Lady also believes in the power of the human spirit. She gives back to the community at large. She is focused on making a difference. It is not all about her. That is why she is loved and respected.

The first BITCH of Alaska only knows greed and self-promotion.She stands for nothing that advances the cause of humanity. So in the end, when the dust settles, Mrs Obama our FLOTUS, and all decent woman in America, will out shine the ugly, distasteful slime of the Bitch and her despicable family.

Mrs. Palin had the perfect opportunity to become a spokesperson for children with disabilities, Special Olympics... teen counseling... a number of things. Did she not seek any philanthropic work? I've not seen her supporting anything but a couple of politicians and of course, SarahPAC.

I wonder though, given the path she's taken the last 3+ years, if that opportunity still exists for her?

      Sad.

    1. Oh, my, remember that Barbara Walters interview in November 2009? That surely was pre-screened questions and programmed answers, if not actually with a teleprompter behind Barbara so that Sarah didn't blurt out something truthful.

And compare Sarah's hyena laugh with Michelle's humor. Wow.

Yes, and the media will obediently disseminate these attacks, never including in their reportage something along the lines of "Palin recently penned a eulogy to a man who called a Hollywood actress a 'sympathy fuck' and Nancy Pelosi a 'bitch.'"
