Quote of the day.

Veteran ABC News reporter Sam Donaldson was giving an address at the University of Texas at El Paso, and was asked to comment on the future of Sarah Palin.

His response?

"I don't speak ill of the dead."

Oooh, that's going to result in a few dings in that Wasilla refrigerator tonight!

Why would Sarah Palin come up at a college address in another state? Yes, I realize it's Texas, but still. That's weird to me. I'm from the south and none of the organizations I worked with or even my small conservative college would mention her like that. They wouldn't even mention any politician like that.

So weird. People are obsessed with the Palins. They're like the Kennedys, with less drama and scandal. And the name Palin as a first name is weirder than the name Kennedy.

Nobody is obsessed with the Palin's. And for the record the Palin's don't even come close to being compared to a family dynasty as the Kennedy's!

The Kennedys have included several congressmen, senators, and a president. Most were Harvard educated. The Palins are the exact opposite of the Kennedys. To say they're similar is retarded.

      Delete
    8. Anonymous8:44 AM

Just have to add, the Kennedys combined served decades and decades in national office. Teddy alone served 50 years in the senate. And two Kennedy's were assassinated in office!!

Comparing the Palins to the Kennedys really pisses me off. The disgusting, egomaniacal, delusion of that is breathtakingly mentally ill.

      Delete
    9. Anonymous9:28 AM

Palin is a weirder first name than Kennedy?

The Kennedys have major metropolitan airports, performing arts centers, the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, and countless equally prestigious namesakes.

The only thing the Palins have named after them are their own kids and a few unfortunate children of cult members.

Well, he is washed up, and his day has passed. The picture on this post is dead laundry. Only those of us of a certain age would care about Donaldson's opinion. Count me among them, who entertained him on my own patio in the day (late 70s). Palin has no sense or education about history, much less journalistic history. I doubt she understands the Donaldson contribution. I doubt her followers have even a scant purview as to what that would mean. They are uneducated dolts. Like Sarah. You can't throw this mudpie in her face, she does not recognize the source. There is no context.

I heard that to be nominated at the GOP convention, the candidate had to have won in at least five states. That's going to be a problem for Newt, who won in two states. That's going to be an even bigger problem for Sarah "I'm Dreaming of a Brokered Convention" Palin, who has not been entered in a single primary, and therefore has not won anything. Maybe Sarah can fix the voting like she did for DWTS.

Knowing the 'idiot' Sarah Palin, she probably had no clue there were 'rules' at the convention in Florida. Remember, she doesn't live by them (rules/laws) unless caught and stopped! Remember the rules as to a loser VP making a speech?

She's only going to have a place at the convention in her own mind!!!

    2. Anonymous9:29 PM

AIP members would be the only ones concerned about her death in Alaska. There would be NO State funeral/observation because she is a quitter governor. And, most Alaskans don't like her! I doubt the flag would even be lowered on the day of the AIP service which is what is normally done out of respect for an admired statesman. I'm not even sure Todd Palin respects or admires his wife - remember he used Shailey for a number of years for what he wasn't getting from Sarah (whom I'll wager is nothing more than a cold, cold dead fish!).

The author claims that the KKK and Nazi's were liberals, completely ignoring history that the extremist groups are almost always conservatives.

I sent an email to the author "Not all liberals are socialists, and not all conservatives are fascist pigs. From your inability to use reason and logic in your article, it would appear you are a conservative fascist pig. Fascism didn't work in Germany, Italy or Argentina, and it won't work here. This liberal will defend your First Amendment right, when what you have to say is truthful. I will not defend your right to lie."
