Sarah Palin takes to Facebook to attack President Obama for trying to protect our children. I wish I was joking.

"If Obama is for it, I have to hate it! Them's the rules!"
Courtesy of the Lunatic on Lake Lucille's ghostwritten  Facebook page:

The Obama Administration is working on regulations that would prevent children from working on our own family farms. This is more overreach of the federal government with many negative consequences. And if you think the government’s new regs will stop at family farms, think again.

My family is a commercial fishing family, and commercial fishing in Alaska is much like the family farm (but the year 'round farmers no doubt work harder than we do!). I guarantee fishing families wouldn’t stand for this nonsensical intrusion into our lives and livelihoods, and, as a former 4-H member, I don’t believe farm families will either. Our kids learn to work and to help feed America on our nation’s farms, and out on the water.

Federal government: get your own house in order and stop interfering in ours.

 - Sarah Palin

It always amazes me that EVEN with RAM helping her to write her own Facebook page (Something that "rill" Americans would never even consider), Palin STILL manages to step in a big pile of manure virtually every time she posts.

First off there is absolutely NO correlation between farming and commercial fishing. None.

This is perhaps one of the most ridiculous comparisons that Palin has ever had her ghostwriters make on her behalf, right up there with calling her an "energy expert" or comparing bloggers and journalists bringing up her crosshair map after the Giffords shooting to a "blood libel."

Now the other glaring problem with this is that Palin/RAM is completely mistaken about what the law says. (I know, surprising right?)

Now the original proposed regulations written back in September 2011 (Kinda late aren't you Palin?) WERE being interpreted by some as saying that the children of farmers would not be allowed to run farm equipment until age 16:

The worry is that it might jeopardize the ability of brothers and sisters or cousins who jointly operate a farm through a business partnership to have any of their children work for it.

Now this was really NEVER a problem, but some farming interest groups and the Senators that represent states which rely heavily on agriculture, demanded that the bill be changed.

And in response to their concerns it was:

The U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL)’s Wage and Hour Division owing to pressure from farm groups has recently decided to re-propose ‘parental exemption’ for child labour engaged in agriculture in the U.S. The parental exemption allows children of any age who are employed by their parent, or a person standing in the place of a parent, to perform any job on a farm owned or operated by their parent or such person standing in the place of a parent. The rule of parental exemption was first introduced in 1966 by the Congress when protection was expanded for children employed in agriculture and prohibited their employment in jobs that the USDOL declared hazardous for children below the age of 16 years to perform. (By the way this change was made back in March 2012.)

So there you have it, children working on their family farms are exempt from this rule and other youngsters are now protected from possible harm on the job.

So exactly what the hell is Palin bitching about?

Now here's the other thing.  These proposals were NOT put in place to expand "government overreach" or as a "nonsensical intrusion into our lives and livelihoods." These proposals were made for a VERY specific reason.

This according to a report published in US News:

Almost 27,000 children are injured on farms in the United States each year, and many require hospitalization, according to a new study.

Many of these serious, sometimes fatal, injuries are caused by agricultural industrial hazards, such as falls from tractors or machinery accidents, the researchers report.

Of about 26,650 kids ages 19 and under injured annually, 14 percent were hospitalized, and 84 died on average each year. By comparison, just over 1 percent of non-farm-related children's injuries warrant hospital care, the study said.

"These injuries cost society an estimated $1.4 billion per year in 2005 dollars," Zaloshnja said. "Work-related injuries annually cost $347 million or 24.4 percent of the total cost."

In other words, the Obama administration was only trying to tighten up guidelines to protect our nation's children. Of course in Sarah Palin's words this is just another example of President Obama demonstrating his hate for America.

However the proposals are designed to protect the children who will be the future of America, so my question to Sarah Palin is "Why do you hate our children?"

My question to Sarah Palin would be:

Why are laws to protect children from harm not ok, while laws that regulate my uterus are just fine?

Agree. But this is a question that must be asked of all Republicans who only seem to care about children during the nine months that they are in utero. Once born, Republicans could care less. Pretty scary.

Oh that explains it! The thousands of kids injured in farming accidents are no longer in utero and therefore, do not deserve protection by government.

LOL, If tractors could fit inside uteruses, the republicans would definitely be trying to figure out a way to protect the children then.

This is proof Sarah does not read anything except maybe gossip tabloids. Every time she opens her mouth she just validates how true the portrayal of her is in the HBO movie "Game Change". She's an ill-informed liar.

It does NOT prohibit family members - rather EMPLOYEES on the farm who happen to be under the age of 16 from performing certain kinds of work.

    1. I agree that it's unlikely Palin picked up one of the newspapers she reads (any of them, all of them) and read about this topic. However, she became aware of it somehow. I think her comments are proof that, in her narcissistic quest for attention, Palin will regurgitate any talking points she's fed by Republican operatives. Unfortunately, there are those who will swallow it.

Does anyone else share my frustration that this legislation is only in the news because the Republicans are attacking the Democrats on it? Shouldn't it be vice versa...that Democrats should have Republicans on the defense for their despicable approval of children working 14+ days in dangerous, backbreaking jobs instead of going to school?

The times are officially crazy. And by the way, more dangerously rightwing than ever. I'm going to get flamed for this, and I don't care, but as much as I like President Obama as a person, his Administration is not going to be the one to take out these monsters once and for all. I continue to be amazed that these sociopaths have somehow come roaring back into power, after everything they have done and continue to do to wreck our country.

I too don't always agree with the POTUS, however, I do respect him as a chess player that plays a very deep game. If we give him 4 more years, I suspect we will see him as much more progressive president than we've seen during this term.

    2. I doubt anyone agrees with the President all the time- but I am convinced that when he makes a decision, he has investigated the matter and thought it through, and is making what he considers the best decision.

As opposed to Bush, who simply ignored the whole" learn about the matter and think it through" part, and just "went with his gut."

    3. Not What You Want to Hear8:37 AM

I believe that's a possibility, too, however, the rightwing fanatics HAD hung themselves by their own rope, which is why Obama got elected. Somehow, the sociopaths figured out how to get out of the noose and are now holding the rope themselves.

There was a clear window of opportunity to knock these monsters out once and for all. I know Obama couldn't have done it by himself, but I continue to believe that his tactic to "bridge differences" only gave the impression these evil people were actually worth making up with. The result? They have officially gotten away with wrecking the country and are back in power in states all over the country, including my own. They've even killed collective bargaining in Wisconsin. We've gone countless steps backwards and I cannot believe this has happened. Please do not fool yourself, these people are on the verge of seizing majority power again.

I would love to know what the heartland of American farming families think about this regulation. I am certain many are in favor of it - this law was passed because it protects underaged teens, children from being hurt by huge farming equipment. Like any plant, a farm environment can be an accident waiting to happen.

If President Obama himself jumped into a burning building and saved 100 children and got them all out, Sarah would still be complaining!! She'd be saying that the he didn't get the parents written permission first, therefore he had no right to go in. And she calls herself a Mother?

I can't speak for American farming families since I left the family farm 35+ years ago. What I can tell you is that I worked on many farms, including my father's, doing a variety of chores. Many other farm kids that I knew were migrant workers too, going from farm to farm in the neighborhood, depending on what work needed to be done. Seasonal issues with crops and even daily threats of weather can have a big impact on what work NEEDS to be done and what window of time is available. Issues associated with raising livestock are never-ending and labor intensive (think feeding, healthcare, birthing, hauling manure, etc.).

I personally spent many hours on neighboring farms at the age of 14+ weeding fields with a hoe, digging ditches with a shovel, loading hay wagons and operating a variety of equipment from tractors, bulldozers to large trucks. I handled livestock too, including milking cows.

The above work helped in part to finance my college education, which was totally self-funded without debt.

I have not read the bill, but as presented here I would be against it.

Slightly off topic. There was a news story on this morning about the immigrant law that passed in AZ. Of course Brewer wagged her hand and tried to dis Obama, but after the break, they surveyed acres and acres of fields with fruit and vegetables rotting in the field (except corn, a gov'ment subsidized fuel). Farmers are kvetching and whining at the massive losses because they can't afford to pay "Real Americans" minimum wage to do the hard work that farm families used to be able to do, when having huge families was feasible.

The message at the end? Obama will import food from south America while our farmers sell their farms. And food prices will soar under Obama's big government.

She can't understand how many chemicals such as anti-biotics, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers, machine lubricants, fuels, etc. etc. etc. All these things that make modern industrial farming a very hazardous occupation for grownups much less children.

In other words Sarah Palin continues to demonstrate just how clueless about the real world she really is.

The reason Sarah Palin put her wrinkly neck into this subject about kids being used for labor is because it hits close to home for her.

Tripp and Trig are currently being used to make money for the Palins. If it wasn't for those young kids being used for props, Bristol would have to whore for her pimp daddy's family prostitution business.

  32. I had someone write to me on Facebook this morning about this very thing, and about how "horrible" it was. But I live in a farming community and know from the harrowing stories I've heard how dangerous farm equipment can be. If anyone has ever been up close to a cotton harvester or a combine or a grain elevator there is a reason that warning signs are posted EVERYWHERE. Some elements of farming are way too dangerous for kids.

And I have personally seen kids exploited as labor. Over the summer we moved our horses from a boarding facility which had advertised itself as a "family run" barn. But after we got there we realized that all the work and responsibility was being dumped on one mentally fragile sixteen year old girl with no social life who was being turned into a slave by her parents who got a $600 check from me each month. My daughter and I started going out there to help this kid and I heard her cry several times about her dad would "just kill her" if she couldn't get the malfunctioning pump to work. And when it didn't, we would help her haul water to the fifteen horses at the farm.

I finally confronted her father and told him that I was not comfortable seeing all the work dumped on this one kid, who was constantly stressed out. His response: Don't tell me how to raise my kid.

So I took my horses and left and am proudly paying double the amount in board for a facility run by an adult.

And you can believe I let anyone looking for board know why I left the other barn. Other boarders left and they've not been able to get a boarder there since, and one of their own horses recently died because there was no adult oversight and the girl didn't know what to do when the horse colicked.

This notion that rural families are all good, salt-of-the-earth people is nonsense. It depends on the families and while there are good ones, there are more than a few that exploit their kids and put them in dangerous jobs because they don't want to pay someone outside to do it.

Of course, this will be spun by the right as government intrusion, but let's remember, this is the same party that applauded Newt Gingrich for suggesting that inner city kids be forced to work as janitors in schools.

I do so loathe these bastards.

A family my mother knew adopted kids who they believed were old enough to work the farm. I recall one being adopted at 8, another at 10 and I forget the ages when they adopted the other two.

It's one thing to be adopted into a home with a loving family but in my opinion, abusive for the reason they be able to 'work' the farm.

Sadly these kids may have believed they were adopted for 'love' as I don't recall ever seeing a look of happiness on their faces when seeing them in a store or somewhere.

No idea about the family now as I don't live there anymore but it's almost a heavy feeling in my heart that as the kids got older they would have realized and the family bond would have broken.

Sarah Palin has already boasted of endangering the life of an unborn baby by boarding a transcontinental flight after an amniotic fluid leak without a medical check for a premature Down Syndrome baby when she was a high-risk mother (over 40, 7th pregnancy, history of miscarriages).

Sarah Palin wants kids operating heavy machinery on family farms (and commercial fishing operations) when the parent is not the owner of the farm.

Sarah Palin is too stupid to understand she's just building her reputation for endangering children. Maybe she just needs to focus on the simple stuff. Like using SEAT BELTS when she's being filmed in moving vehicles with her children.

What are these rural families going to do for labor when their children are either dead or severely injured? Do they have health insurance to cover these injuries, or will the family be bankrupted (without Obamacare, that is).
Most families, I'm sure, practice safe guidelines for their children.
Sarah is always the same as whatever the topic is: a former union member's wife, a former 4-H member, a commercial fisherman, a former journalist, a former mayor, governor, beauty pageant contestant (second runner-up), mother of five, mother of special needs child, reality tv star, political commentator -- you name it, Sarah's an expert on it.

Children, young adults, grown ups and senior citizens, and even working farm animals are involved in activities that could claim their life.

They always have their hand out for government subsidies. That being said...... I own a small pecan farm. My two kids both learned to drive the tractor when they were 12. They loved it. My son also had a flock of chickens (free range) and sold the eggs. That money helped pay for his college. My kids were not overworked. Both had very active social lives and took part in extracurricular activities. Both were straight "A" students and went on to earn masters degrees. Neither are involved in agriculture, but both love to tell their friends "farming" stories. It was a great way to grow up.

I grew up in a small farming community but lived in town. Most of my classmates lived on farms and I spent a lot of time in their homes. During the war we had cows, pigs and chickens and a large garden to feed our family. Sarah said she belonged to 4-H. Really? Did she grow up on a farm? The only thing I have seen her parents harvest is antler piles and refrigerator magnets! I couldn't join 4-H because I didn't live on a farm! Did Sarah raise bottle calves, pigs, chickens, lambs, garden and sew her clothes? She might have been in Girl Scouts, but my money says she was more interested in the "boy" scouts!

My classmates were driving tractors when they were 12, hauling in wagons of corn and beans while their fathers were in the fields harvesting. My classmates' brother was killed hauling 2 wagon loads of corn (in tandem) into the bins and cut the corner too short and it flipped the tractor over with him on it, landing under it with the hot smoke stack across his face burning to the bones and crushing his chest. Another classmate was kicked in the temple by a horse (2nd grade) and he had to wear an external metal plate (canning jar lid) held on by an elastic skullcap until we were in high skull and one was surgically inserted. He was very slow academically and was said it was because of his injury. A boy a year ahead of me was gorged and killed by his bull and found laying in the pen later. My brother-in-law lost an eye when the ammonia fertilizer sprayer sprayed it in his face while filling the tank and has a false eye now. My friends father got his jacket caught in the auger and it pulled him in and killed him. Farming is very hazardous for children and adults. Our cousin was opening the gate so her husband could bring the tractor with a load of beans through and not let the cattle out. He had to make a sharp turn and the wagon tipped over, spilling the wagon load on top of her. By the time he could dig her out, she had suffocated and couldn't be revived. She left 4 children. No farm kid I knew ever received a salary for their work, but got an allowance for helping do the family work. Many of my classmates had milked the cows, gathered the eggs, watered the cattle and put out the feed before they ever had breakfast, re-dressed for school and ran out to catch the bus..in rain, snow or sunshine! We "city" kids were hired for two weeks every summer to detassle corn. We didn't run any machinery, come in contact with any large machinery or animals. Just field mice running over our feet or occasionally running up our pant-leg as we walked thru the corn rows. We often suffered from bad sunburns and cuts on our arms from the corn leaves. We were paid 50 cents an hour and that is how we bought our school clothes for the coming year. But we still couldn't join 4-H! Many worked for farmers "walking the beans". The large corporate farms now hire "Mexicans" for low pay, no benefits to do the work. Illegals work on the veggie farms as a family units and live in housing provided for them...not talking luxury here! Small children spend hours picking in the hot sun with little water for drinking. I think this is what the President was talking about Sarah.

I too remember farm life as lived by my family. One uncle was driving a small tractor (something he was quite used to doing for 38 years!) when he made a shortcut down a small bank to a hay field. It flipped, he fell out and the machine decapitated him. Curiously, this is a common accident with similar results on farms. It is a harsh existence and work never ends.

Sarah and Todd have endangered their children - many times.

First from neglect. Track, Bristol, and Willow have all been in trouble with the law - doing things only "hoodlums" would do: cutting school bus brake lines, party hard on the MV Pacifica, breaking and entering an abandoned house to party, pregnancies before marriage, etc. etc. And who actually raised the Palin kids? They seem to have been farmed out to various relatives all their lives.

Second, for not having these kids take responsibility for their behavior but rather getting them off the hook using their influence. Lesson learned: Mom and Dad will take c And who actually raised the Palin kids? They seem to have been farmed out to various relatives all their lives.are of it.

Third, The "wild ride" was serious endangerment of an unborn fragile infant. Dragging very young children around the country (Trig, Tripp, Piper) to boring speeches, book signing, LA Hollywood is not what very young kids want or need: stability and security with consistency.

Fourth, And poor Bristol. Sarah has pushed her beyond her capabilities into a celebrity life solely for the purpose of keeping herself in the news. Whether B was pregnant or just gained an incredible amount of weight on DWTS, she was not a happy or successful contestant. And Sarah keeps pushing B as a reality show star - for which she has no natural talent. Pushing B like this is abuse.

And finally, Not providing an education or real job training for one's child is parental neglect. How will these kids be able to afford the life of luxury they are used to without mom and dad to take care of the bills.

In conclusion, I think Sarah Palin was not only the "worst governor ever" but also the "worst mother ever."

I married into a family that owned a family farm and was also Safety Director of a business that owned and farmed a little less than 500,000 acres. From my experiences of being involved on both farms, I can say without hesitation that children younger than 16 have no business doing most of what is required on a farm. The areas of particular concerns involve toxic chemicals, at times unpredictable animal behavior, machinery that breaks causing parts to be hurled into the air, pinching type injuries, and of course operating equipment. Farming already is the second highest death and injury rate of all industries. Farming is only surpassed by timber the industry with the highest injury and death rate. Family farms mostly use their younger children to do most of the rudimentary work around around farms at first, like feeding animals, helping stacking hay in barns, or spreading hay for animal beds. But usually by 12 they start doing more dangerous activities on farms such as operating equipment. Due to their inexperience, it's around this age when most serious injuries start to occur.

Of course, most family farms can't readably afford to hire adults for this type of work. This is where the conflicts start, but safety should never be put in second place, especially when children are involved.

Palin is really showing her lack of knowledge in farming and putting her political ambitions ahead of children's safety. But whats new about that when it comes to Palin. Palin is desperate for attention and is bringing this issue up because she knows most farmers are usually very conservative. This women truly is a prostitute for attention no matter who she has to harm to achieve her goals.

So, when does Tawd have the time to be a commercial fisherman, what with his new "dating" business? And Sarah, when was the last time she did any kind of physical work besides pulling on her wig- oh, yes, someone does that for her. Cooking and tending to her children? Someone else has that covered. She's just an nasty, aging, stupid liar.

There's another aspect of this that hasn't been mentioned: children of working in fields are exposed to dangerous pesticides and herbicides. As bad as they are for adults, these chemicals are even worse for children because they are still growing. So these young kids--vulnerable because they are the children of illegals-- are being paid a pittance for doing work that will harm their health and lead to an early death. It's like the miserable little climbing boys of Georgian and Victorian England, who were shoved up hot chimneys and then died from cancer contracted from the soot.

This law is being opposed by the powerful agribusiness lobby, who profit by hiring illegal families who are paid a pittance. I wonder how much money they paid Sarah to put this crap out there? She is such a venal sleaze.

O/T but worth knowing that Rush is squirming bigtime with the boycott since his horrific attacks on Sandra Fluke, but now Spanx is in his crosshairs:

Boycott Causes Rush Limbaugh to Crack and Blame Spanx for His Troubles

...Limbaugh used Spanx to launch another misogynistic attack on women, but what is interesting here is that this convoluted argument is his latest attempt to get his advertisers back and end the boycott.

Limbaugh’s “Spanx defense” was nothing more than a new spin on his latest attempt to blame the victim. His position was that women who want to be taken seriously and not treated like eye candy deserve to be called sluts. To him women like Sandra Fluke deserve the personal attacks and insults because they wanted to be taken seriously. Limbaugh was arguing that if women just knew their role, and showed up at the office dressed like they worked at Hooters all would be well with the world.

Rush Limbaugh has unsuccessfully tried various tactics to bring an end to the boycott. He issued a non-apology apology, hired a firm to handle damage control, claimed that the boycott was having no impact at all. He also blamed Bill Maher, called Sandra Fluke a secret Obama operative, and now he is claiming that Spanx are to blame for harming the women’s movement. With each attempt, his desperation is almost visible to the naked eye.

  85. All of my life I've listened to my father's life 'on the farm' (Depression era). This goes back 80 years. Farm families were large as children were needed to do all the chores, from planting to butchering pigs. They walked to their one-room schoolhouse after the morning chores were done. After school, it was more of the same. There wasn't much time for love and affection, the kids were used as commodities and believe me, some of them are still bitter about it to their dying day. Others relished their self-reliance and hardiness which got them through their lives during bad times. A lot of these people went on to become successful business people after having served in WWII. They are the ones who BUILT America after the war.

It boils down a matter of perspective. Modern times dictate modern equipment on the farm, but really, you have just as good of chance of being killed on the roads in America in a modern car. However, what is worrisome are the pesticides used in modern farming - known to cause serious illnesses, including cancer - but again, cancer can be caused by many other sources.

To take farm children completely out of the labor pool on a farm is quite ridiculous. Protecting them from obvious hazards is honorable, but nothing is life is completely safe, so what is needed here is BALANCE. Personally, I would have loved growing up in a farm instead of the suburbs of Anchorage and Wasilla and in trailer courts at that. Instead I went to commercial fishing and learned how to work hard - it really builds character and yet, very dangerous work. After fishing, I went on to other adventures - none of it came easy.

Sarah Palin promotes a whole slew of character-building venues, but her obvious lack of experience and common sense (as seen through her mothering 'results') once again prove she is nothing short of a sociopath and very dangerous. Her attacks on President Obama are very dangerous. She's going to get someone killed - again - with her mud-slinging, baseless rhetoric of guns, oil, sports, war, religion, women's reproduction, and hated of the president. She is a phony and unfortunately, a wealthy one at that. People have to be NUTS to give her money or follow her like sheep. Why she still get attention from the media (Roger Ailes, Fox News) is waaaaay beyond me.

Levi described Bristol as an indentured servant. He may have been one as well. I can see why Sarah Palin holds the uneducated in such high regard.

Because most of the people who lived in North America had died during the 1500s AD of smallpox and measles and other diseases brought by European traders, by the 1700s there were not very many people left on the East Coast to work on farms there. So English settlers began to invite poor people from England to come over to North America to work for them as indentured servants.

I guess Sarah stands up to what she believes in. She wants government to stay out of our kid's safety.

Mayor Sarah Palin, the government, talks the talk and walks the walk. In Wasilla if a girl gets raped, do not count on Mayor Palin, the government, to spend money to bring your rapist to justice.

You see the government, Mayor Palin, made the female citizens, who were victims of the town's Boys Will Be Boys rapes, pay for their own rape kits and if they couldn't afford it , then oh well!

By the way, the government, Mayor Palin, did not allow the city government to pay for rape kits but made the the town pay for an over priced hockey rink that was built on privately owned land and at the same time, Sarah just happened to get a new two story house built on the lake with bay windows and handrails similar to the hockey rink and claims Todd built it by himself.

It sounds like under Mayor Sarah Palin's watch, if a boy wants to rape a girl he should rape a poor girl who can't afford to pay for their own rape kits. If you rape a poor girl in Wasilla you can count on getting away with your crime.

Maybe that's why Pimp Todd picks on down and out women to have his way with and recruit into his prostitution business. You see his wife the mayor has seen to it that poor women were discouraged from reporting rape.

Don't forget Mayor Palin, the government, changed the city's policies right before her house got built not requiring paper work to have a paper trail how the house was built and who built it.

Sorta like what Governor Palin (the government) did right before she quit her job 1/2 way into her first term. Right before Governor Palin (the government) quit her job, she passed legislation that paid out Alaska tax payer's money to people who film in Alaska. Just so happens right after Gov Palin (the government) quit her job as governor of Alaska, she just happens to take advantage of her film tax bill she just passed and became an instant millionaire after filming Sarah Palin's Alaska.

Yup. Yet more inane drivel from the maw of Wa$chilla DeVile.

This is an issue close to my heart. I own an organic farm. All 4 of my children have been operating vehicles and farm machinery for years now. They all started driving at the age of 11. My oldest son was driving our multiple six-figure John Deere 9650 combine and our grain carts at the age of 16. There's no way we could operate the farm without our children being able to drive trucks, tractors, swathers and other related machinery. Honestly, I was a bit concerned when the bill was first introduced but the 03/20012 USDOL revision completely diminished our concerns. It's a non issue for us. Our children and the children of EVERY one we know are well versed in tractor and related machinery safety. I'd be willing to bet that my youngest daughter could back an articulated trailer better than most adult men.

Serror will find ANY way whatsoever to bash President Obama. It's like a Pavlovian response for her. It's just one aspect of her vindictive, sociopathic nature.

AND, she claims to be a former 4-H member, yet she espouses disdain for safety regulations. Safety is paramount in farming. My children have criticized me for wearing a loose-fitting shirt in the area of a hay elevator with open gears. They were right, of course, and I could have lost a limb had my shirt got tangled in the gears. That's how seriously things are taken within 4-H.

    BREAKING NEWS.... JUST REPORTED

Gryphen, self proclaimed energy expert and FOX commentator Sarah "Drill Baby Drill" Palin says that the Democrats and President Obama are responsible for the gas prices going up.

But what the self proclaimed energy expert and FOX commentator Sarah Palin failed to disclose is that all that money the oil industry is benefiting from the high fuel prices has found its way to the Republican Party.

That Sarah, she just loves to keep tidbits like that from us.

By the way Sarah, you never commented on the Alaska oil tanker that had to return to Alaska with its tanker full of Alaska oil it was unable to unload because the refinery it went to was unable to take the oil. Just so happens that the refinery's storage tanks were at full capacity. Sorry Alaska, maybe you shouldn't take advice from Sarah.

"Spokesmen for the American Petroleum Institute, a lobbying colossus for the oil and gas industry, and ExxonMobil, the single largest political player in the sector, declined to comment on the dramatic increase in donations to the GOP relative to the Democrats."

"Lloyd Avram, a spokesman for Chevron, also declined to comment on the discrepancy in donations linked to his company."

I just read what I posted above and need to clarify it.

The HP post had nothing directly to do with Palin.

But I found it relevant to Sarah Palin because in her expert energy opinion, Sarah is always trying to blame President Obama for the high fuel prices in America.

If this is true Sarah, it is odd that the oil company who is making an exorbitant about of money favors the rich incentives of the GOP.

The oil industry is donating big bucks to the Republican party in hopes that they will continue to allow the oil companies to profit from the American taxpayers.

The oil companies love their profits and love the Republican Party.

      A perfect match.

Does Todd even have a family on his side?

      Aren't they Alaska natives?

Maybe that's why Sarah doesn't associate with them?

Look at Sarah Palin's neck, she needed a touch up or better yet a tug back.

Her neck looks like her hands. Not to pretty.

Does SarahPac pay for her cosmetic neck surgeries or does she pay for it and writes it off as a business expense for her appearances on FOX?

I would be tired as hell if I was Sarah Palin. Sarah cannot go anywhere without make up on. She would be afraid of the paparazzi taking her picture without make up on and looking like Sally Heath.

Sarah has no choice, every morning she has to put on her face or lose her fan base.

What can you expect from a woman who tried to abort her unborn child by not going to a hospital when her water (the source of oxygen for her unborn child) broke. She waited ten hours as her unborn child suffered with diminishing oxygen and nutrients, multiple pressure changes on two flights a final long car ride to a hospital that had no neonatal intensive care unit. Palin is hazardous to children, living and unborn.

It's official, "That woman is an idiot"!

While reading her "mytical" narrative comparing Commercial Fishing with Farming, I tried to "think like Sarah" and visualized combines, tractors, barns and silo's on the open ocean.

She's desperately trying to stay relevant, every single news program has mentioned how important Romney's VP pick will be, because of the Legacy John McCain left of picking a buffoon who can't think her way out of a hard hitting question like "What have you read recently that you feel adds to your qualifications as VP". She's been manically licking her wounds, and THIS bullcrap is the best Rebecca of Dinged Fridge Farm" could come up with?
The closer the re-election of President Obama approaches, the more manic and maniacal her rants will be.
This is going to be good!
