President of Rolling Thunder Washington, Ted Shpak: “We had enough problems last year with Sarah Palin. She came out last year and said she’s speaking, and she’s bringing her bus and starting her tour, and that wasn’t happening. I went ballistic when I heard that. One of our members invited them who had no business to invite her. She showed up. Don’t come in the way she came in. It was a sad site to see. If she had just came like everybody else, I’d say it was OK. That’s not the way it happened.”
That's the Sarah Palin that we know and loathe, leaving a trail of disappointed and angry people wherever she goes!
Thankfully THIS year, now that she FINALLY had to drop the political prick teasing, she has been relegated to nothing more than the least informed "pundit" on cable news.
Of course things have been little quiet over by the compound overlooking the dead lake. Perhaps a little TOO quiet!

DeleteThere are single mothers, who for one reason or another, do not have the father of the child in their life. The guy could be serving in the military, walked out on his family or he could have turned out to be a jerk about his parental responsibilities. It happens for any number of reasons, but the gal who has to hold down a job, try to complete school and take care of her family does not enjoy Bristol's TV "Reality" life-- anything but. Those are the women whose lives should be featured if they have a way of dealing with a very serious issue. What does she do if the kid is sick and she can't miss work? How can she be at the student-teacher conference and keep her job? Even attending the kids' school activities and juggling her own schedule is difficult. What Bristol will show will be a joke. Who cares what she says to some guy in a bar? The real working gal has to put up with rude comments and can't sass the guy back because she needs to keep her job. That's the reality of being a single parent, usually near the bottom of the employment scale.
I think that Tripp deserves to be raised in private instead of being taught to stick his tongue out at photographers. If you don't want the photographers, Bristol, we'll be glad to help you and voice our displeasure with your fake TV show.

DeleteI believe all the riders in Rolling Thunder are vets. The gathering in DC is to honor the fallen. The Vietnam memorial is one of the places they visit. This is also the group that goes to funerals and protects the families from the Westboro Baptist church and their ilk. They also do projects to help wounded vets.

I think we have to say a great big Thank You to Sarah for the big old Lame Bus Tour. She showed everyone that she was a complete idiot when she had just heard a lecture about Paul Revere in Boston, and came out reciting a completely different version, ringing those bells and firing those warning shots. Sarah is incapable of learning anything.
DeleteWhen Sarah was leaving the Statute of Liberty (her words), she was asked what the lesson of the statue was. (Clue, it's her name, Statue of LIBERTY). Sarah said that she was a warning not to go making the same mistakes that the other countries in Europe have been making. (I think she meant socialism, which was not what Europe was doing when France gave us the statue).
People saw Sarah's cheap stunt, trying to upstage Romney when he wanted to announce his candidacy. And, as if that wasn't enough, she did it again in Iowa when it as Michele Bachmann's turn.
I think that once Sarah let loose with her Blood Libel, trying to excuse those cross hairs and targets on the Democratic candidates, the BIG BOYS decided that she could say her mean stuff on Fox, but she would not run for president. Sarah staged that bus trip to show that she could still attract swarms of publicity-- which she did-- for all the wrong reasons-- including Rolling Thunder. In fact, Piper helped out by pushing reporters and yelling at them that they had spoiled her vacation. (Hint, it is not a family vacation when Todd and one daughter left, a second daughter and Trig were not included). Yes, the lame bus trip showed just how lame Sarah Palin really was.
Looking at that picture of Sarah Palin at Rolling Thunder just makes you want to holler out at her to just man up and swallow.

They think because she was the VP choice candidate in 2008, that everyone just loves her to pieces and that she can crash any event.
