"Take it down a notch b*itch!" Kathy Griffin renews her feud with Elizabeth Hasselbeck over the latter's attitude toward the President on the View.

I am not always a huge fan of Griffin's but I have to admit that nobody sticks it to certain Republican women as well as she does.

And do you know what? She was right.

With all the shit that the Right Wing has been throwing at Obama lately he certainly did not deserve to have some prissy little reality show leftover biotch giving him attitude.

And by the way, I think the President was just being nice. There are certainly not many, but there are definitely a FEW, Republicans that I would choose over Hasselbeck any day, and I imagine so would President Obama.

Yeah I actually did have a lot of respect for McCain but that's gone. We all know why. Jie Scarborough is also OK. Jon Huntsman also, too.....

What? WHAT? You think those guys are ok? Where have you had your head except up your ass! Do you homework you fool, and you'll find out exactly the kind of sleazy guy that Huntsman is, and Scarborough killed his intern...sure, nice guys. There isn't ONE, not a single ONE of these rapid GOP assholes that is a 'nice guy'. Not even OK. They're a bunch of nasty blowhards, male and female. Scarborough is one of the most disingenuous assholes that ever came down the pike. He bloviates every day like his opinion matters, but it's a waste of everyone's time.

What exactly did you respect? Do you have any idea as to how he lived his life? You need to seriously do some research.

Why would you ever have had any respect for John McCain? He's a fucking traitor to his country for starters. A total loser who got where is he today because he had an influential father and he dumped his first wife for his second very rich one. He's the scum of the earth and Sarah Palin is not an aberration, she's just one more of his foul deeds..

As for Huntsman, he's a typical whackjob GOPer - he just hides it a little better then they usually do.

Joe Scarborough is too foul for words.

All Republicans are scum. ALL of them. They would send the vast majority of us back to the dark ages if they could. I hate them all.

Huntsman is an asshole, so is Scarborough. And McCain we all know what a dishonest fool he is.

Please do not put all Republicans into one pot. I am a liberal, but have many friends and family who are Republicans, we have civil talks and mutual respect for each other. Many people who are Republican voted for Obama in the last election, and probably more will vote for Obama in this one. Don't assume all are scum just because some are scum. Otherwise it make us just as bad as the extreme right.

      Kate,

There is NO decency in a political party that seeks to increase inequality, homophobia and sexism.

People who say they are Republican are saying they ENDORSE the Republican ideals and vision for America, which takes all non white males back to the dark ages.

      The other posters are correct.

Kathy is excellent in this piece! If nothing else, the Office of President should be respected. After all, I had difficulty respecting GWB but respect and support BHO fully.

Liz is under the delusion that she's important and has some hard-hitting journalism to unleash. What a ninny.

Kathy Griffin uses comedy to bully and hate. I do not respect her. There are far more talented comedians who are actually respectful of people in general.

Kathy calls it as she sees it. She is a stand-up woman.

She actually doesn't bully or hate, if you watched enough of her stand up shows and interviews. She is very purposeful in how she uses comedy to point out celebrity's foibles and also social injustices. She performed in Iraq and Afghanistan and went to Walter Reed, unlike Elizabeth Hasseldork and the like. You may not like her strident tone, but if you don't, then chances are you don't like standup comedians since this "in your face, speak your mind" style has been what standups use way since the days of Lenny Bruce.

Sarah and Bristol Palin use Facebook/Reality Shows/Blogs and minor television appearances to bully and hate. I do not respect her. There are far more talented grifters who are actually respectful of people in general.

  5. I don't watch Survivor, but I'm betting the prize for a "Runner-Up" finish doesn't come with a degree in Journalism much less confirmation of one's intelligence.

It does however, come with an NFL meal ticket.

Hasselbeck: A blond wig, atop a twitching brain stem, sandwiching an empty cranium.

She almost makes Paylin look smart, if that's even remotely possible.

Hasselbeck thinks because she is the producer's conservative mouthpieve that her opinion actually matters. It doens't. And while Griffin can be crude and mean, she is usually right on.
I wonder how Hasselbeck can support the GOP when she is a working mother with young girls whose rights to have the same opportunities will be squelched should the GOP convionce enough of the braindead that President Obama is (fill in the blank with the GOP lie of the day.)

It's because Elisabeth is a professional Christian. That means she's better than you or me, and she wants everybody to know it. The way she's chosen to let everyone know is to align herself with the party that's appropriated the Christianist mantle for itself.

This was her original question, but she just winged it and went off script.

"Mr President, why is it that one crayon in the box never works?"

"That's not true, Elisabeth, when you use a white crayon on white paper, it doesn't show"

    "OK"

I'd like to have seen Mitt Romney on a show with five women with different opinions and explain anything on his record.
