Good morning my friends.
I thought this would be a good way to start the day.
Many president's had tried, but this President succeeded.
And NOTHING the Right Wing can do will ever change that.
That is a terrific way to start the day! I think it's safe to say that the conservatives have spent over a billion dollars already if you count 2008 plus 2012 and they are on their way to two billion trying to outdo President Obama but they can't figure out a way to do it. The man is just too smart, too competent and too cool for them. Applying the words of Mitt Romney to the RW, "I don't think they sleep too well at night".
President Obama is well on his way to being the best president ever. He has a remarkable list of accomplishments and he's not even through his first term. He drives the RW crazy. Just this past week, I heard Joe Scarborough repeat a remark he always has to throw in that "Barack Obama wasn't ready to be president". It makes my blood boil. He was ready the day he was sworn in.
Gryphen, not to sound too dystopian this early in the morning, but you may be too optimistic when you say NOTHING the Right Wing can do to change that:
If Progressives cannot find the drive to become excited, to become aggressive educators and get out the vote, we cannot progress in this next election and the Regressives and their Masters will manage to lie and cheat (remember Diebold? Voter suppression?) to take over this supposedly tri-partite government. They will rush to quash those parts of the constitution guaranteeing individual freedoms other than the God and Guns provision. We are too close to that scenario as it is.
They will then essentially have won what in other countries would be considered a "bloodless coup", and any form of safety net for the rest of us will evaporate.
How is that being negative? I'd say realistic, and then you say for Dems to VOTE well yeah that was the OP's point, vote but not just in GE but locally too, the rightwingers are zealots they breathe politics and are hell bent on having their way so they are on top of latest developments at the national and local level, they write letters and e-mails if ALL Democrats were as passionate we would SO crush the old racist stingy Cons.
No matter what happens: no matter how bad they cheat, steal, BUY the upcoming elections... no matter even if the bastards manage to take it away sometime in the future...
History already recognizes President Barack Hussein Obama as having been the executive in charge of passing the most comprehensive health care overhaul in the history of the United States of America.
I love it! President Obama has accomplished so much despite the walls the GOP have put in his way. Rewind back to when he won the Nobel Peace Prize... remember the cacophony of outrage on the Right, how he hasn't done a thing and doesn't deserve the honor?
