This is the guy who wants to replace the President and become the leader of the free world?

This was taped to the press buses following Mitt Romney on his five day campaign tour.

Apparently Mitt Romney, the guy who believed that cutting a schoolmate's hair was a "prank," is STILL acting like a twelve year old over privileged little shit.

And didn't his campaign bus recently drive in circles around the President while he was speaking, honking their horn?

Several reporters on the bus tweeted with confusion, at first, why the bus seemed to be aimlessly circling in Ohio. Soon, the campaign’s brilliant scheme revealed itself as they realized the bus — emblazoned with the Romney campaign’s logo in giant letters — was circling the president’s speech site and honking at Obama supporters. The president’s talk doesn’t begin until later this afternoon, but the move seemed to be an attempt to harass, distract or annoy attendees.

Oh yeah, THIS is the guy we want to put in the White House!

(H/T to the Daily Kos.)

Gee, this sounds like spoiled brat G.W. Bush, the frat boy who never evolved past the fraternity pranks and nickname-giving.

Do we really want Mitt to follow in George W's footsteps.

I bet he could make that horrid little shoulder massage that Georgie gave to Angela Merkel look like like angelic behavior. Does anyone else remember how Georgie embarrassed our nation on his visits to England and when he hosted the Queen at the White House? Mitt seems intent upon one-upping the embarrassment factor.

Gosh, President Obama was able to regain the lost respect for America in the world. Do we really want Mitt to take us back to the days when our President was the laughing stock of the entire civilized world?

That Mitt would have the arrogance to behave like a middle school bully with journalists as witnesses is an indication that he just doesn't give a damn what he does or to whom.

Having the respect of world leaders is important. It is not optional. We need to have our Presidents taken seriously to have a chance at negotiating treaties, avoiding wars, and improving our position in a global economy.

We cannot afford another buffoon like George W. Bush, particularly not one who seems even more immature and as at least as clueless.

Vote for the only adult running for President: Obama.

If he would have been smart and any any balls at all( but he gave those away in France during Nam) he would have driven up and given a impromptu question and answer session with the crowd.

As President, that prank stuff might not go over well with the Russians. I can just see prank notes left on the Russian Embassy steps saying, "erased your hard drives" - signed; President Romney.

He has to be one of the most juvenile politicians ever, although Anonymous 2:05 makes a good case for GWB. I am, however, confused about the honking thing. Romney's and Obama's speeches were about 240 miles apart. When I first heard of the honking, I assumed that the Romney people dispatched the bus to the Cleveland venue apart from the Romney core cadre. There would be no reason for the press to follow the honking bus, they should have been at the Romney speech, which was finished less than half an hour before the President's. Now I'm starting to doubt the veracity of the whole thing. Also, too, are we sure the note isn't a fraud? Just askin'

  6. Hey, Mr. Romney: Keep antagonizing the press. Let's see how that all works out for you.

I'm just waiting for the book that will result from this year, as I'm sure the reporters appreciated being forced to participate in Romney's ill mannered bus gesture. It'll be an easy, all too ready sequel to Game Change.

    Gryphen,
Speaking of hard drives, you should do a post on what he did to the computers when he left as governor of MA. Something very wrong there.

Memos, correspondence and whatever else that might have incriminated--or indicted-- him as the "part-time" governor.

Honestly Mitt, why the need for the cover-up?

Mitt did the same thing Huckabee did -- destroyed all the evidence of his term as governor by deleting and destroying the harddrives.

There is sure to be other Rethugs having done the same which will be exposed if and when they run for President

I never understood why folks liked Huckabee either. I listened to his radio show not all that long ago and found him telling lies - a preacher!!! The 'religious' Republicans certainly didn't learn what I learned in church!!!

Romney, Palin, Huckabee, McCain and on and on and on!

He could have put on the State Trooper uniform his Daddy gave him, and threatened to arrest some of the President Obama supporters!! Imagine how funny (not!) that would have been. The term Arrested Development always comes to mind with this frat boy.

Fucking Mormons. Before we put up two giant NO PROSELYTIZING signs we used to get all sort of unwanted religious visitation. The Mormons were the worst because they wouldn't just go away, they gave us one of their books and our dogs ate it. They came back the next day and we told them that our dogs ate it. When you tell these people that you are an Atheist it almost makes them want to try harder to bring you into line with their crazy fairy tales. I really have a deeply seated hate for those that come to my home and attempt to foist their beliefs upon me. I try to keep an open mind towards those that hold beliefs that I find ridiculous, however, stay away from my home and keep your beliefs to yourselves. This way we can all get along.

This guy acts like a teenager. Can you imagine President Obama doing something like that? Our President is much more of a gentleman and certainly more professional in his actions and deserves our vote.

Mitt would be a horrid president. Plus, he'd never get my vote because he is a proven liar - over and over again!

There is an underlying meanness and expected privilege in Mitt. His vast wealth is the most important "value" in his life and short circuits empathy, fairness, truth and honor.

If he somehow became president, that would be the downfall of America...or Amercia! It would be reason enough to relocate to Canada.

  12. Good lord. I thought that was a joke post until I read Kos! What the fuck was Mitt Romney thinking when he posted that note?

We have got to make sure we reelect Obama and take back Congress. There's no way this country will survive if we don't.

      That was not a joke?

When Willard left the Governor office in Mass he had either sold the state owned computer hard drives to office employees or had them erased be cause, in his words he didn't want anything embarrassing to get out.

Mitt: You're a lilly-white chicken shit rethuglican wannabe, pure and fucking simple. Like the rest of your ilk, you play Cowboys and Indians, only to bitch when you've been rightly struck in the ass by a well-aimed arrow. A dumb, scared white man is all you are, and nothing more.

Go eat some gourmet cookies, you fucking pussy.

President Obama's sense of humor comes from an intelligence and and understanding of language and people. He often finds humor in the moment or situation and is (almost) always appropriate.

Romney's 'humorous' comments sound like that brat who lives next door that no one in the neighborhood likes. He memorizes a book of jokes and tells them at the most inappropriate times and places...and wonders why no one thinks he's funny.

just be amused! look I don't care for romney, he's way out of touch with most americans and he doesn't really know shit... and he sure shouldn't be president, for f's sake.. but humor is good. we should all appreciate humor when it's present, even if it comes from someone we don't agree with and would never vote for. yes I ended a sentence with a preposition.

Mitt's showing he's not even original in his 'joke' about the hard drives. He did the real thing when he left office of Gov in MA to run for Pres. Just like Huckabee did when he left office to run for Pres.
