If that is not enough to drive home the point that Palin is yesterday's news, check out what ABC News reported about her PAC:
SarahPAC is still a secretive organization, but those willing to lift the veil a bit say she’s actively taking a step back and not much is going on inside. What’s not clear is if they are gearing up for attack or if she will stay in the background.
Even her chief of staff has left, ABC News has learned. Michael Glassner was hired last February and it set off a flurry of early will-she-won’t-she run headlines. He recently left SarahPAC because there just wasn’t enough for him to do, according to several sources knowledgeable of the inner workings of the organization.
Personally, I think that the sad saga of Sarah Palin is just about coming to an end. Her attempts to pimp out her family for reality show gigs, in a desperate attempt to remain relevant, has turned out to be a huge embarrassment, she can't seem to get invited to the GOP convention no matter HOW many hints she throws out, and even the now completely irrelevant Glenn Beck is returning to Anchorage with NO mention of inviting Palin to join him as she did back in 2010.
And then there is THIS picture taken of her out driving around.

Palin turned her gig as a Fox News commentator into an outlet for airing old grievances from the 2008 campaign, taking not-very-relevant shots at Trig Truthers and the McCain campaign. Once Republicans started voting in the primaries, Palin sounded pretty much like any other pundit, and she seemed to know it. When Neil Cavuto asked her who she voted for, Palin said, "It is tough for me to spin out of a question like that when it comes from a Fox reporter."
And Palin's public events haven't gotten enough hype to draw wire photographers -- the last Associated Press photos of her are from her day of co-hosting the Today show, while the last ones from Reuters are from her CPAC speech in February. She gave a speech at an Americans for Prosperity-funded event in Michigan this weekend, and only Getty snapped some photos.
Nobody wants her standing next to them onstage, nobody wants to hear her speak, and nobody even wants to take her picture. For an attention junkie like Palin is there anything more humiliating?
She deserves everything she's getting. She is a nobody from nowhere, and should be thanking her lucky stars that she emerged from 2008 a multimillionaire, and not in jail.

Well, don't be too shocked if the cross-pollination of reality shows does, in fact, happen. That seems to be one of the standard "themes" repeated on every reality show. There's always some "exotic" trip, usually to Hawaii, then the obligatory "re-stating of vows" ceremony, then the characters of some other silly reality show find themselves inserted into an equally lame reality show (for promotional reasons, no doubt).

I actually feel sorry for General Wesley Clark, whose political career aspirations were destroyed simply because he accurately, honestly, and factually stated on TV that just because John McCain was a POW during the Vietnam War, that fact alone did not make him qualified to be President of the US. Which was true, but the media crucified him for daring to "challenge" or "question" John McCain's qualifications (who, of course, is also a complete and total fraud).
In fact, General Clark prefaced his comments by saying that John McCain certainly should be considered a hero for his service and sacrifice to our country, but his point was that McCain's long Senate career along with his military service, is what qualified him to run for President, not being a POW (which McCain has always milked for all it's worth in every campaign). One would have to believe that all POWs are therefore qualified to be President, which, of course, is not factual.
It's sad and ironic, then, that General Clark has been reduced to starring in a crummy, idiot-level reality show along with McCain's imbecilic running mate's husband.

Sarah has rented space in a nearby mall to be right around the corner from the Republican Convention. This isn't the first time that Sarah played the role of party crasher. When there was a White House Correspondents Dinner and Sarah wasn't invited, Greta brought her to a pre-party and someone brought Sarah (food spotted suit and too-big shoes) to an after-party. She tried to upstage Mitt Romney's announcement that he was running for president, and she did the same thing in Iowa with Michele Bachmann. Sarah is like the girl who wasn't invited to the prom, so she hangs around in the parking lot in her formal gown, hoping that someone will leave the door open so she can sneak in.

In the land of powerful political performers a MILLION is kind of like $10 to the rest of us, so yea, Palin nearly raised a million bucks, but Barry and Romney are running campaigns that raise BILLIONS, add a zero and you'll get the picture. So, even though some desperate folks are cleaning their couches and under their car seats and sending in their pennies, even close to a million bux don't buy you a campaign. It will however purchase some clothing for you and your family and pay the mortgage for a while, oh, and allow you to give $15,000 to candidates. Let's see, $15,000/$800,000 = .01875. That means that of all the hard earned dollars that were thrown Sarah's way this quarter she actually shared only less than 2% with candidates that she supported. Wonder where the other 98% went? It's a great gig if you can get it. She sure loves OPM (Other People's Money). I guess these people are happy to support her "ideology"? Seems like they are simply supporting her and her family, but hey as long as the rent is paid on the trailer lot and WalMart gets its fair share these folks are happy to keep the Palin family living in a style that they themselves will never recognize.
