I knew it was coming, but even I am a little stunned that it happened during the GOP convention.
You know I was watching Hardball earlier and while Matthews was interviewing Christine O'Donnell he asked the crowd if they wanted to see Sarah Palin on that stage and there was a resounding "NO!"
We knew she was done before, but now she is "overdone!"

Yeah okay. That sounds completely plaus...oh who do they think they are kidding? The number of speeches during the convention has NOTHING to do with Sarah Palin getting time on the air or not.

ReplyDelete(CNN) - Sarah Palin posted a cryptic message on Facebook Wednesday night, saying the Fox News Channel had cut her appearances for the evening.
"I'm sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain's positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight," she wrote.
Palin, who served as McCain's 2008 vice presidential nominee, did not explain why Fox had scratched her off their rundown.
The former governor has been a pundit on the channel since early 2010, less than a year after she stepped down from her post as governor of Alaska.
Reports of tension between the conservative firebrand and the network emerged in November, when New York Magazine reported the network's president, Roger Ailes, was furious that Palin had announced her decision against running for president on another media outlet.
Palin first made her decision public on a conservative radio show hosted by Mark Levin, then confirmed her announcement in a Fox appearance on Greta van Susteren's show that night. While Ailes reportedly considered pulling her million dollar contract, Palin continued to appear on the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.
As to what prompted Wednesday night's shuffle, Palin left it a mystery, writing only about her former running mate. Sen. John McCain is set to deliver remarks at the Republican National Convention in the 8 p.m. ET hour. The Arizona senator also turned 76 on Wednesday.
"Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain," she wrote. "Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend."
Fox did not immediately return a request for comment.

I am going to disagree here. There is an open speaking slot for the RNC and they are talking up a surprise speaker. I'm willing to risk the Koch's prevailed on Mitt to have Sara come in and get the rabid frothy mouths going. She's got new boobs, a couple of hundred grand in plastic surgery and she sure didn't get it for doing bbq's in AZ. I'm guessing this is another one of Sara's smoke screens to cover the real surprise she garnered a speaking role. If she does show up she/Koch must have some serious shit on the Mittens. Wow, they are bragging over at the P that Palin's Facebook has over 40 thousand likes! That is incredible, over 40,000 people are feeling her pain....oh, wait, there are nearly 10,000 times that many people in the US. I guess We The People just really don't care. There are nearly 1000 times more people in the Municipality of Anchorage. There are more than 40,000 people in the "small town" that my parents live in back East. Why would Fox RNC analysts want Sarah to opine on John McCain and how media was mean to him and her? I would gather that Fox bosses told her she was only to speak about Ryan and Romney, and the queen does not do "NO". She wanted to reproduce the 'all about her' 2008 campaign and they wouldn't budge.
The fact that she called Ann Romney "Governor Romney's wife" last night tells me she was in a bad mood last night and had a bee in her bonnet. She can call easily call everyone by their first names, like "Can I call you Joe", but retracts like a scared spider, and quickly loses that down-home charm when addressing the candidate's wife.
Today is the night for Ryan, the VP nominee. The problem with Palin on Fox is that she is the reminder of picking a VP candidate who is completely unqualified. Now, about Ryan. He has never spelled out any specifics about his plans. He has nothing else going for him other than the fact that he is a better bluffer when it comes to not answering a question.

The former vice presidential candidate posted on her Facebook page Wednesday that she's "sorry Fox (News Channel) canceled all my scheduled interviews" for the evening. She said she wanted to honor John McCain, who selected her as his running mate in 2008.
Fox executive Bill Shine said the network's plans changed because the Republicans had to condense their schedule of speeches from four nights to three because of Hurricane Isaac. He said Fox looks forward to having Palin back soon.
