Fox News has finally had enough of Sarah Palin! Update!

Courtesy of Palin's Facebook page:

I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight. Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain. Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend.

- Sarah Palin

Okay now THAT is just awesome!

I knew it was coming, but even I am a little stunned that it happened during the GOP convention.

You know I was watching Hardball earlier and while Matthews was interviewing Christine O'Donnell he asked the crowd if they wanted to see Sarah Palin on that stage and there was a resounding "NO!"

We knew she was done before, but now she is "overdone!"

Update: It looks like Fox News has  issued a statement. This courtesy of Mediaite:

“Our plans changed based on the fact that the RNC condensed the schedule of speeches from four nights to three. We look forward to having Governor Palin back as soon as we can.”

Yeah okay.  That sounds completely plaus...oh who do they think they are kidding? The number of speeches during the convention has NOTHING to do with Sarah Palin getting time on the air or not.

They must think their viewers are idio.....oh that's right, I forgot.

Palin has been on TV all over the place lately, but she's been so unhinged, so word-saladly..it's pathetic. It's caught up with her finally and she's toast. Why would Mittens and marieANNtoinettet want her around anyway? She's a reminder of why the Rethugs aren't in the White House today. Go home, Sarah, and actually take care of your children. You know, the little 'special' one you had in 2008..

Okay. So we finally got rid of the b**ch.

I was beginning to hope though that maybe she was going to do us all a favor and really start pushing for that "third party" thing. I mean, let's face it, she has a big enough mouth that maybe SHE can get through to the Repubes who can be reached.

Nada. I'm guessing that someone pointed out that since she is campaigning fro Adams, that giving her airtime without putting it somewhere as an in-kind contribution - or it could be that it is coordinating with a PAC - is all sorts of campaign illegal - and FAUX is going to be pretty paranoid about being investigated in yet another country.

Yes, seems very odd. Is she really that stupid that she would publically rebuke the hand that feeds her by 'telling on them' that they cancelled her. Is she that full of vengeance that she can't sit back and suck it up as she's paid to do, but she has to sock it to them? I guess she is. However, it could also be a diversion and she is the mystery speaker. One or the other, nothing in the middle! I cannot see that they'd have her as a speaker it would hurt their chance of getting any remaining independents

"all my interviews" sounds like more than 2 to me.

Sarah Palin appears to think she was slotted for lots of airtime. All the better to play the victim. That response from Sarah sounds like she is trying to force someone at FOX to "re-schedule" her tonight.

I'm thinking someone from RNC put the screws to FOX to shut down Sarah Palin's off-message word salad. Or maybe McCain has finally had enough of his long nightmare.

Sarah Palin: 'Fox canceled my interviews'

Fox News appears to have canceled scheduled interviews with Sarah Palin, per the former vice presidential candidate's latest post to Facebook:

She had such opportunity to grow and leverage her unearned capital as a serious political player, but true to form, she revilled herself to be the Potemkin Village of a Conservative Female Politican (anyone see NM Governor Kelly Ayotte's lame speech?)

    Palin canceled on Fox?

(CNN) - Sarah Palin posted a cryptic message on Facebook Wednesday night, saying the Fox News Channel had cut her appearances for the evening.

"I'm sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain's positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight," she wrote.

Palin, who served as McCain's 2008 vice presidential nominee, did not explain why Fox had scratched her off their rundown.

The former governor has been a pundit on the channel since early 2010, less than a year after she stepped down from her post as governor of Alaska.

Reports of tension between the conservative firebrand and the network emerged in November, when New York Magazine reported the network's president, Roger Ailes, was furious that Palin had announced her decision against running for president on another media outlet.

Palin first made her decision public on a conservative radio show hosted by Mark Levin, then confirmed her announcement in a Fox appearance on Greta van Susteren's show that night. While Ailes reportedly considered pulling her million dollar contract, Palin continued to appear on the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.

As to what prompted Wednesday night's shuffle, Palin left it a mystery, writing only about her former running mate. Sen. John McCain is set to deliver remarks at the Republican National Convention in the 8 p.m. ET hour. The Arizona senator also turned 76 on Wednesday.

"Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain," she wrote. "Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend."

Fox did not immediately return a request for comment.

Is there nothing that this woman doesn't exploit for attention?

Why would Fox RNC analysts want Sarah to opine on John McCain and how media was mean to him and her? I would gather that Fox bosses told her she was only to speak about Ryan and Romney, and the queen does not do "NO". She wanted to reproduce the 'all about her' 2008 campaign and they wouldn't budge.

The fact that she called Ann Romney "Governor Romney's wife" last night tells me she was in a bad mood last night and had a bee in her bonnet. Palin: 'Sorry' Fox Canceled Interviews

Four years ago, she was the star of the Republican National Convention. Now Sarah Palin is upset about getting the hook from the television network where she is working.

The former vice presidential candidate posted on her Facebook page Wednesday that she's "sorry Fox (News Channel) canceled all my scheduled interviews" for the evening. She said she wanted to honor John McCain, who selected her as his running mate in 2008.

Fox executive Bill Shine said the network's plans changed because the Republicans had to condense their schedule of speeches from four nights to three because of Hurricane Isaac. He said Fox looks forward to having Palin back soon.

The former Alaska governor is a paid Fox contributor. She was on the network Monday and Tuesday nights.

OOPs, just watched McCain's speech and he didn't even mention her! Although, he did kind of say that it was America's duty to kind of bring Democracy to the world whatever the cost to our domestic bottom line and that we as Americans kind of owe that to the world. Good thing he didn't get elected! We sure dodged a bullet there.

I am Barack Obama, President of the United States -- AMA

Hi, I’m Barack Obama, President of the United States. Ask me anything. I’ll be taking your questions for half an hour starting at about 4:30 ET.

    Proof it's me: https://twitter.com/BarackObama/status/240903767350968320

We're running early and will get started soon.

UPDATE: Hey everybody - this is barack. Just finished a great rally in Charlottesville, and am looking forward to your questions. At the top, I do want to say that our thoughts and prayers are with folks who are dealing with Hurricane Isaac in the Gulf, and to let them know that we are going to be coordinating with state and local officials to make sure that we give families everything they need to recover.

LAST UPDATE: I need to get going so I'm back in DC in time for dinner. But I want to thank everybody at reddit for participating - this is an example of how technology and the internet can empower the sorts of conversations that strengthen our democracy over the long run. AND REMEMBER TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER - if you need to know how to register, go to http://gottaregister.com. By the way, if you want to know what I think about this whole reddit experience - NOT BAD!

What surprises me is that The Wig's Facebook post reads as if she wrote it her own self. It reads just like she speaks One.Long.Sentence. Incoherent and messy.

  104. Governor Brewer just made a gaffe: she said she hoped that Obama would get elected and "keep our borders secure."

She looks particularly nasty tonight. Spouting "rule of law," blah, blah.

Think of how far she has fallen. Four years ago she was on top of the world. Today......

How many people would even notice that she wasn't on Fox tonight if she hadn't posted it on FB? We would and the sea of pee would, but who else?

    What is she up to?

Playing the victim and attention seeking, even bad attention, those are givens with her.

Is she trying to gin up supporter and get Fox to relent? Is she trying to get other interview offers, such as from Prick Morgan? or just general trouble making and diarrhea of the mouth?
