Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey
@anon2:26... just another thought on the missing FBAR information: if we can manage to force either of them to release even two years of tax declarations, they will be totally FUBAR (F*cked Up Beyond All Recognition) anyhow. That why they have their specialists ferreting out loopholes. Let's not kid ourselves.
And was't Annie a tad too defensive last ight in her interview? She was shooting darts at the interviewer with those flashing eyes. It also occurs to me to be curious as to why Ann Romney has been interviewed several times already all by herslef, when Toad had not even ONE solo press interview in 2008. Wonder why that was?
Because SP wasn't running for president, even though she thought she was the top of the ticket. Michelle Obama was interviewed several times during the campaign. I don't remember any with Jill Biden.
But Mitt's clearly using his wife to say things that he is too cowardly to say for himself. If I were Ann, I'd advise him to produce ten years of complete tax returns. Then the issue would be more or less done with. Except, of course, for anyone going through the returns with any kind of acumen.
Ann Lois really got a hot flash there! Not First Lady like at all!! How DARE the "help" ask such an question! Natalie Morales was about as neutral toward her as Katie was to Screech, and she got so upset!
Lawrence had an interesting take on this last night....the IRS gave amnesty to those hiding money in Swiss and off shore banks if they brought the money home. Otherwise, it is considered a felony!!! His idea is that Robme used this grace period and it would certainly be on his returns, oh my. Watching Ann defend her hubby again saying his integrity is "golden" and they give 10% to charity kinda makes you gag. I wish the interviewer would remind her that the Mormon church DEMANDS 10% and calling them a "charity" when they make billions is another gagfest. He has given a whole new meaning to the word liar.
I can't point this out enough. When Sarah Palin was scheming to get on the Wasilla City Council then, as is her fashion, stab her mentor in the back and go after his seat; the five-colleges-in-six-years-step-aerobics-stay-at-home-mom doodled her attributes on a paper, listing herself as a "tax-payer" (more than once) as a qualification.
She said on Greta that she's been saying the same thing since 2008 and while that is pointedly true, the only thing she's dropped is being a tax-payer and added scathing attacks on a half-black/half-white POTUS also too since 1992. She's been the "new energy" since 1992, misquoting Alaska's contribution to American's energy use to 20%, when it is actually closer to 2.4% - and this is an area she feels "comfortable" with.
New energy. Whatever. Ryan will now represent the 'new energy' but the GOP fells again as an answer to this nation's problems that they themselves created in the first place.
Mitt Romney only believes in the American structure that supports the wealthy and protects their unearned earnings, the fall-out from his type of capitalism can be found in the economic prowess of China and India, and safe harbors for his wealth in places like the Cayman Islands while American factories were shuttered and towns and cities became ghost towns.
He has something to hide, and it only reveals him to be the most unAmerican candidate in our history - it's as unbelievable and audacious as having a 7 year AIP member star in a show supporting our military.
A lot of people with complicated taxes cannot complete their return by April 15th for many different reasons and file for an extension. Most of these people do have a lot of money, but someone going through a divorce or bankruptcy might also need an extension, so it is not just for the rich. You also most likely will have to pay interest on any taxes that you don't pay by April 15th. It is legit as long as you file for the extension.
However, in Romney's case, I suspect that he is simply using the situation to avoid releasing the 2010 info and I doubt he will do so by election day. Yet he will continue to claim that he has released two years. He is as slimy as they come.
Romney's return for 2010 in incomplete. The FBAR information is missing. He is an imperious smarmy snake.
ReplyDeleteI was about to add that but you have it covered - well said

ReplyDeleteThere should be an(*)next to Rmoney's information. His 2010 return was missing a few things, he didn't turn over the completed return.
ReplyDeleteAnd then the RWNJ says , "yeah, whatever... But where's the REAL birth certificate? And what about the college transcripts, huh? What about those?"
ReplyDeleteYou can't reason with stupid....... sigh

Delete(And LOL at the "fells again")
ReplyDeleteWe will not see his 2011 tax
My 2011 was done by April 1.
I did my tax by myself.
I pay a higher percentage rate them Romney.
And I work for my money as a Carpenter...
I agree. We peons pay our taxes by the deadline. I guess for the 1% you can file whatever whenever and get away with it.

He's shown "us people" everything we need to see. Ann Romey will now tell us to go eat cake and ride off into the sunset.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Sure Ann, whatever Ann. You got us all on our knees and trembling in our boots.
ReplyDeleteImperious hag!
Meow.

Hmm has anyone seen Romney's long term birth certificate?
ReplyDeleteFor someone who's been running for President, one would think he's have all his papers in order. This is his John McCain "How many houses?" moment.
I wonder what would happen if, by chance (wink), the IRS audited him?
