My friend Dennis made this awesome video representing some of the beauty currently surrounding us in Alaska as fall approaches.

Beautiful isn't it?

  1. Wow! That's amazing. The pure whiteness of the water contrasted against the lush green foliage is truly magnificent.

I always tell myself convenience makes me a city girl through and through. But seeing things like this makes me understand.

    Totally O/T!!!
The Republicans are trying to win at any cost. Those districts that have changed opens unsuspecting voters to have their Voter identity stolen. Can you believe that?! WTF?!?!?! Is it possible, this has been done all along and we're just now noticing?

Michelle Tassinari, director of legal counsel in the Secretary of the Commonwealth's Elections Division, sent a letter to Town Clerk Thomas Florence on Aug. 3 stating that she would be investigating "the party registration changes of a large number of registered voters that were allegedly made without the voter's request, authorization or approval."

EAST LONGMEADOW — Registered Democrat Dorothy Lofgren of East Longmeadow wonders why her name is on a list of people who requested an absentee ballot for the Republican primary election on Sept. 6.

    She is not alone.

Lofgren was one of almost 450 people listed as having asked for an absentee ballot, which is now being investigated by the office of Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin for potential voter fraud.

That is so beautiful and green. My state is currently experiencing extreme drought conditions, as it has not rained in something like 87 days. We also seem to be suffering from a drought of intelligence, judging by the opinions recently shared with the nation by Senate candidate Todd Akin.

But I digress. Anyhoo, my husband I were just talking a few days ago about how someone should make a movie of a lovely summer rain, with waterfalls, puddles, rainbows, and flowing streams. How refreshing to see the video made by your friend Dennis. Thank you both for sharing!

Gryphen, you should have given credit to the guitar player, or group. I very much enjoyed the video, but probably the guitar even more. If you can, would you please post under mine who the guitar is, or who the group is.

Now THIS makes me want to visit Alaska.
Maybe he should get some of the state tax credits for his work.

Your recent good morning or good night videos, pix, & thoughts on nature & universe require a change of gears -- from human chaotic insanity to introspective peaceful reflection. Thanks from this AlaskaSundog.

Oh delightful. Thanks Dennis. Oh, so he didn't get eaten by bears when Gryphen said he'd out run him. That's good and also good to know.

Though maybe we should ask Gryphen if this video is pre-2012 and the bears did get their running snack. (Kidding).

Thanks Dennis. Also to Gryphen for posting it.
