Jimmy Fallon channels James Taylor's performance at the DNC. With some slight modifications.
Okay now I like Jimmy Fallon (Though his show is on much too late for me to watch, cause I needs my beauty sleep), but I don't think I was ever aware that he was THIS talented.
Give it a listen, you are going to LOVE it. I promise.
G. Have you not seen Jimmy Fallon channeling David Bowie as Tim Tebow? That is even better than the James Taylor parody. Google it. Too funny. You can see many of his great musical skits in the show Jimmy Fallon's Primetime Music Special on NBC. They have shown that twice that I have seen.
Not only is Fallon talented, he's very persuasive. The story is that Paul McCartney wasn't all that keen on doing "Yesterday" as "Scrambled Eggs" but Fallon started singing it, McCartney's roadie's began laughing and McCartney agreed to do it.
Wow! the commercial I HAD to watch before the video was from American Crossroads? Very much full of BS. Just like Twitter and FB keep feeding me Romney crap. And now Pandora. All lies!
yeah, that was excellent! jimmy fallon is a pretty talented guy, I've seen him do several musical impersonations, and he always nails it. his eddie vedder is very impressive, I can't find a full length clip but here's a short one that is good:
Hahaha, this is another funny skit on SNL spoofing Barry Gibb from when he lost his cool on a talk show. Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake are hilarious!http://www.metatube.com/en/videos/60393/NEW-SNL-Justin-Timberlake-Jimmy-Fallon-The-Barry-Gibb-Tank-Show-HD/
My son laughs uncontrollably with this video of the Gibb's impersonation...I said to him I'm not sure I can ever listen to one of my most fav artists ever again without thinking of these guys spoofing them, lol
LOVE THIS. Was hoping you'd post it.
ReplyDeleteFAR OUT, MAN! (Child of the 60's here).
ReplyDeleteThis AND Julian Castro? Fallon is having a prolific week.
(Oh, and Eastwood? You're a twatwaffle. Pathetic.)
FAR OUT, MAN! Back atcha Liz!
DeleteI was born in 1940 when in the 50's "Daddio" was cool too.
lol
Groovy!
DeleteFallon's great--but I would KILL for that guitar!
ReplyDeleteGREAT postings today on the IM! I've enjoyed them all - and most of the comments too, of course! :)

ReplyDeleteI seriously thought I would die of oxygen deprivation when I saw Jimmy Fallon's "Jesus Christ to Tim Te-bow" (think "ground control to ma-jor Tom")
DeleteI never realized what a TRULY amazing gift Fallon has for mimicry.
YES! It was Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow. I laughed my ass off!
DeleteLoved this last night; watched it twice!
ReplyDeleteJimmy is very talented and I love his commercials with the baby in the high chair!
ReplyDeleteHe does an excellent Neil Young and Bob Dylan. He's definitely very talented!

I'll stop now!
As someone who loves Neil Young (what, he *isn't* God?) that is just completely awesome. Can't wait to watch the Dylan one!
DeleteOMG the Dylan impression was awesome but the Doors one! When he got to "goodnight moon" I thought I'd lose it. Inspired, brilliant and utterly mad!
DeleteFallon is multi talented. He could have another career -- better than some of those that do it for a living!!
ReplyDeleteLove the line about 2016 -- Michelle and Hillary!!!
He's done a number of singing segments on the show. I see some links posted above.
Off Topic - but I just saw this HAHAHAHA - even if you've seen it worth seeing it again - the Katie Couric question of 2012

Oh god. At NASCAR event, fan asks Romney who his favorite driver is. He says: "I've got a lot of drivers I like."
Read all the replies - also, too
He is hilarious! Didn't you see Jesus Christ to Tim Tebow? I particularly like his Thank You card segment.
ReplyDeleteAlso, check out when Obama was on his show slow jamming the news, IIRC.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea. Not a big Fallon fan. Must share..
