Unfair and unbalanced, Fox News still working hard to destroy journalistic integrity in this country.
The truly sad thing is that I would expect nothing less from this patetic excuse for a cable news outlet.
OT - have you seen the photo taken of Romeny SMIRKING! after he left the podium -- how dare he try to score political points while Americans had just lost their lives and others weres till in danger and then to top that off by smiling about it -- OMG - every single American needs to know this man is just NOT human https://twitter.com/CharlesDharapak/status/245893711257563136/photo/1
Romney having once again 'stepped in it' -- I wish the MSM, the blogs, the GOPer's & the Dems would all remind people while they are commenting of Romney's 'stepping in it' -- that the majority of his campaign advisers/workers are 'Bush' 'Washington' people. Such as Ed Gillespie, Dan Senor -- just to name just a few.
Any so-called news network that allows Palin to foul up the airwaves with her insults to our President, well what is there to say? Nobody with a working brain watches these odd assortment of crazies and pervets Palin and O'Reilly.
The FEC needs implement new rules that restrict bias reporting if you call yourself a "news" station, or use the word "news" in your name, such as FOX. Their viewers I doubt ever hear about Fox being caught distorting the facts, and certainly Fox has also had an on air battle with Media Matters by almost continually belittle Media Matters to their viewers. Unfortunately, we all know that many of Fox viewers can't separate Fox's distortions from the facts. Shows such as "Fox and Friends," or any other opinionated show on Fox or MSNBC should also have a disclosure that announces the following show may contain opinions that are not necessarily factual. It's not the best solution to the problem, but when you have undereducated and viewers who can be easily deceived, it might help. It's unfortunate that some people are stupid enough to believe anything they hear on TV that such a warning should even be necessary.
President Obama pushed back against Mitt Romney's accusation that his administration mishandled its response to the Libya crisis, noting that Romney bungled basic facts in his Tuesday night statement.
"There's a broader lesson to be learned here: Gov. Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later and as president one of the things I've learned is you can't do that," Obama told CBS News Wednesday."It's important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts and that you've thought through the ramifications before you make them."
Jonathan Capeheart on Martin Bashir's show just reminded us that of course this is not Romney's first go round of 'stepping in it'.
Remember -- Back in May, Romney stuck his beak into the issue of the blind Chinese man who Hillary negotiated for and he did come to the US with his family.
I haven't got time to research his comments etc. but I know you will all remember the issue.
The Romney campaign's desperate flailing to justify its statements on the killing of American diplomatic staff in Libya grew a little more desperate and flaily on Wednesday afternoon with this:
"If Gov. Romney 'jumped the gun' why were White House officials also distancing themselves from the statement?" Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said in a statement. "Why didn’t President Obama take any questions from the press this morning to explain?"
This Andrea Saul reminds me of 'Trailer Trash Blonde' or the Pageant walkers answering the questions we seen videos of -- Stunned & Stupid. And we know -- you can't fix Stupid!!!
The Romney campaign will say anything for votes not caring about the consequences of his words to other people. The fact that they continue to do the same thing and double down is most concerning.
IMO Romney just dug his own grave. This is a serious situation abroad that he does not get. His staff must be obsessed with villifying Obama that they are not intelligent enough to discern their dangerous foolishness.
FOX News' motto: "We deceive, you believe."
ReplyDeleteFox issued a retraction for this today:

ReplyDeleteWhat did you expect from a network that fought and won a court battle giving them the right to lie in their news casts?
ReplyDeleteI have heard that. Could you tell us which court case you are referring to? I would love to be able to point people to an actual verdict.

DeleteIt was long ago, in Florida, I think. Something to do with cows or milk? Someone must have a link. I would like to read up again.

ReplyDeleteFox News always does this. They lie, get caught, issue an apology, then proceed on to the next lie.
ReplyDeleteWhenever you hear someone on Fox use the words "some people", you can be 100% certain that what follows is Fox's propaganda or a distortions.
