If the women turn out to vote in November, President Obama wins. It's as simple as that.

Courtesy of Quinnipiac:

An 18 point lead among women puts President Barack Obama ahead of Gov. Mitt Romney 49 - 45 percent among likely voters nationwide, and voters expect 54 - 28 percent that the president will win the debates, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today.

"It is also very difficult to win an election when you are getting shellacked among women, the group that makes up about half the electorate."

So essentially if women turn up to the polls in large enough numbers we will see the landslide that we all hope for in November.

And it certainly looks as if the ladies are motivated.

Beyonce, Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Langoria, Jane Lynch, Gloria Steinem, hell that is a pretty impressive list of accomplished women to have working to get you elected. And somehow I think that is just the tip of the iceberg.

    What about the Mormon women??

They may have Family Home Evening that night, or maybe Primary or they may have to bake potluck for a Ward meeting, or clean the yard of the Stake president or do some mending of clothes for the local Deseret Industries, but golly gosh!

Surely they will break from their anointed duties and drag their 7 or 8 children out to their precincts to vote for marieAnntoinette's husband because he's been ordained already by the forefathers of the religion!

It's Mitt's turn! And this is really hard!

For as smart as the GOP claims to be, what were they thinking when they started their attacks on women? That we would vote for their paternalistic crap, just like we got behind Sarah because she plays a female on TV?

Team Romney may have decided to start taking Sarah Palin's advice - there is apparently a new video being released to night (only it's been around on the net since 2007) where President Obama talks about his association with Reverend Wright:

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/is-this-the-video-drudge-is-teasing

Guess whose stale idea that was?

    http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/05/22/palin-advises-romney-go-rogue-and-use-rev-wright-to-attack-obama/

Perhaps Rmoney can fake birth a Downs' Syndrome baby in the next couple of weeks to shore up the pro-life vote.

  4. So far it seems like the GOP hasn't figured out a way to disenfranchise women voters like they have attempted to do with seniors, college students, the poor, and the young.

They sure have figured out a way to make women mad, though.

    Voiceover:
"Seen the coal miners in these ads? Turns out they were told that attendance at Mitt Romney's rally was 'mandatory'. Their mine was closed, lost the pay they needed—all to be props in Romney's commercial."

WWVA News Radio 1170, Host David Blomquist:
"Employees feel they were forced to go, they had to take the day off without pay. They took a roll call. And they had a list of who was there and who wasn't. And felt that they wouldn't have had a job if they did not attend."

Yep, you got it right, the Pacs funded by Koch and Freedom works are going to mud sling every nasty stupid thing they can dig up to try and discredit the President.

I'll give McCain credit for being about the only living person who has ever put a leash on that vicious ignorant pit bull named Paylin. He reigned her in during 2008 and would not for the most part let her go off half cocked.

No Jeremiah Wright talk. No going into Michigan.

And kudos to Steve Schmidt for the epic history lesson and smackdown of the Wasilla shrew when she wanted to give her concession speech.

I have no doubt that scene just mentioned from "Game Change" happened just like that with Spoiled $arah insisting to the last minute that her Highness was damn well going out on the stage to start her 2012 campaign.

Had to sit down and shut up, didn't she?

Some day one of her many scandals and crimes (any of 'em all of 'em) will shame her completely, and we should have a huge party for the IM regulars when that happens!

    Right on!

Another October surprise for Romney/Ryan? These guys are so arrogant it's just breathtaking.

And guess what? Ryan COMPLETED COLLEGE with a Social Security benefit he received from his Dad who died when Ryan was 16. Since then Ryan has been earning an income funded by the Federal government.

Another couple of rich guys who've had a lot handed to them.

This is one poll that's well beyond the margin of error, and it speaks volumes. I know many women who can't wait to cast their vote for President Obama. The GOP wants to turn the clock back to the 1800's. Not ONE republican broke rank and defended women.

I loved that Julianne Moore was featured in this clip, and I have the same concern for my daughters as she does hers.

Most men "Get it" as well, They're sons of mothers, brothers of sisters, fathers of daughters and husband's of wives, women's issues effect the quality of life for whole families.

The backlash will cause more women to get into politics for the right reasons and I don't think the GOP can survive if it doesn't get beyond this hatred of women.
