Romney campaign uses poor photoshop skills in attempt to inflate crowd size.

The image above is from Romney's campaign stop in Nevada last Tuesday as it appears on the campaign's tumblr account. Take a good hard look, does anything about that image strike you as a little...off?

Here perhaps this might help.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you, clearly SOMEBODY on the campaign (With very poorly developed photoshop skills by the way) tried to increase the size of the crowd by manipulating the image.

Can you say EPIC FAIL?

And nary a peep from the media. And the rightwing nutjobs are calling for Obama to be impeached for 'killing 4 Americans' in Libya. My God, people. More people died in car accidents today, was that Obama's fault too? And if you truly think that he is lying about this ("it took him 2 weeks to admit it was a terror attack!!!!!") then how in heck do you listen to Romney/Ryan day after day and not throw up? IOKIYAR.

Does anyone understand how frustrating it is to live in a state like Texas where all the electoral votes go to the majority winner (republican)? I vote, but why?

This will be the last election for state-wide GOP dominance. Purple by 2016 and Blue thereafter.

Yeah, I'm in Texas, too. I vote because my annoyingly conservative area seems to lean just a tad more Democratic with each new election. One day...

    3. All the major metro areas already vote blue, as well as the heavily populated areas along the Rio Grande. Check out the voter maps from the 2008 election. San Antonio, Dallas, Ft Worth, Austin and Houston all blue. San Antonio has a Dem for a mayor and I think Houston does too. Soon Texas will be a swing state again.

As a fellow Texan I will tell you why...in the last presidential election Texas was purple. Many districts like mine are now blue, but we need to keep voting.

You sound like the same sad-sack on the other thread. JUST KEEP VOTING! You will never see change or turn Texas blue if you don't vote!

Alacrity - " You think" San Antonio has a Dem mayor? Did you sleep through the Democratic Convention? Julian Castro - hubba hubba and what a speaker! And his twin brother state rep Joaquin.
You Texan better damn well vote (to previous poster!)

Even though the President is elected by the Electoral College, we need to give President Obama a popular vote majority. The large the margin on the popular vote, the better. If it is close, the Republicans will be whining for the next four year that President Obama did not have a mandate.

No, I know San Antonio has a Dem for Mayor. I helped vote him in. And I was correct, Houston has Annise Parker (D) an openly gay woman.
      Austin mayor: Lee Leffingwell (D)
      Dallas mayor: Mike Rawlings (D)

I live in Houston, and while part of me resents the fact the Dems don't even try to get my vote, I'm also thankful I'm not subjected to the ads some poor swing states are getting.

My brother-in-law has attended many events at this arena. It is less than a mile from his house. He says it holds 2000-2500 max. He can't stop laughing at this epic fail.

We live not far from here & have been to many events, plays, etc. there. It is SO MUCH smaller than they make it look; anyone who has even driven by it knows this makes it look 3x its size. What idots.

  6. That's so weak. This morning, I went by Home Depot where I saw a dude in his pickup with a Romney/Ryan bumper sticker with a Tennessee vanity license plate that said BOOGER. It was raining like a mother-fucker or I would've taken a picture.

I didn't talk to the guy, but I can imagine him saying...

"Hey man, that rich feller what's running agin' our N***** President is shure doin' good now! Lookee at all them white folks done gone out to lissen to the MoreMunn speechify. Almost as big as a Billy Graham tent revival or a good ol' Klan rally!"

There are not a lot of engineers among the low-info Repugs, so they'd fall for the ruse.

I'm Mitt Romney, and I approved of this graphic!

OT Watching Rachael - it's a must see. Letterman talking to Donald Trump - who says Romney will get tough on China because Obama hasn't... While Dave talks about his line of clothes... "Yes, excellent stuff, btw, sold at Macy's..." Letterman is looking through the stuff, asks where it's made... picks up tie...

    Made in China!!!!

The look on Trump's face - priceless!!!!

Ha! I was just thinking about looking up how many people were going to Romney rallies. And here it is. Of course they had to fake the numbers, no one can compete with the popularity of our great President. God, I can't even imagine having to go to one of Romney's...Someone would have to pay me a lot of money to do it.

  14. Oh dear....
you'd think with all those millions of dollars that R-Money would put someone besides one of his grandkids in charge of photoshopping... You get what you pay for!

I'm confused -- why are the polls so tight when the turn-out for the rallies are so one-sided?

I am wondering the same thing. I'm beginning to think it's all a media hype so we will watch their tv station to boost tv ratings. Also Cheney & Glenn Beck & Fox & Romney want to convince us that it's a close race. The polls want clicks too. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't?? Scratching my head.

    2. I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist type, but I'm scared that the election is rigged and it will give R/R the opportunity to say, "hey, it's been a draw all along." Too much of their rich backers money riding on this one... On the other hand, the Washington Post had a story today saying that polling is totally skewed because only old repubs use land lines. Young dems cells aren't polled...

    3. Worried that they are used to show it's a close race so that R/R can use that after rigging the election. Their rich backers have too much money riding on this campaign to lose (deregulation/tax cuts). On the other hand, the Washington Post has a story in today's paper saying the polling is all an anomaly because the pollers only call landlines--i.e. old repubs, that the young dems all use cellphones.

And then he said later that JEEP was moving all operations to China, a flatout lie. They are expanding into the Chinese market, but not cutting one job here. And Rmoney or ROMNMNEY whoever you are, how dare you keep talking about how awful it is to outsource to China, when your company just sent SENSATA over there, lock stock and barrel, for .99 an hour. You are a despicable man who does not deserve to be on the same stage as Barack Obama.

Dude collected $111M this month, and can't hire ONE kid proficient in photo-shop??? Where is the campaign money going? Obviously not to the hired help. This is the quality of "American-made" goods we can expect under a Rmoney presidency.

Someone posted a smart phone pic using a panorama app. The stitching is screwy. So the question is why post such a crappy photo?? Doesn't Rmoney have a pro photographer on his campaign staff??? Doesn't Rmoney have staff who screen what is being posted? Incompetence is what I see. Doubt it's any kind of conspiracy or propaganda...
