Nude AIDS activists try to rouse a Boehner, get arrested instead.

Courtesy of New York Daily News:

Three women AIDS activists saying they wanted to highlight the "naked truth" about potential spending cuts in HIV programs were arrested Tuesday after taking their clothes off in the lobby of House Speaker John Boehner's office.

The trio had the words "AIDS cuts kill" painted on their bodies and had linked arms with four men who also disrobed as part of the protest. The nude protesters, along with dozens of other clothed demonstrators chanted slogans, including: "People with AIDS are under attack. What do we do? Fight back."

The three women were arrested by Capitol Police as they mingled with other protesters in the hall outside Boehner's district office after putting their clothes back on. The naked male protesters appeared to have left.

"People with AIDS are sick and tired of being pushed over the cliff," said Jennifer Flynn, 40, of New York City, who was among those arrested. "We need to make sure they stop going after people with AIDS."

What? Only the women were arrested? What in the hell is that all about?

Especially since being topless in DC is perfectly legal.

By the way here is the video. (Beware, there are boobies!)

I understand that people wondered if John Boehner was embarrassed by this display outside of his office, but his face is always so damn sunburned nobody could tell.

  1. Boobs are much better attention-getters than a petition or sending a bunch of emails. just sayin'.

I agree- on a male, not so much!

    2. I had to think about your comment for a moment since I am caffeine-deprived as of this moment. But you're right. I should've been gender specific. Man-boobs should be concealed even if it's legal to have em on display.

And they're still plumping up polls to make the Dingbat look more palatable for 2016 than she ever will be. Those people are STUPID.

I wonder how many entered "Your Email Address" in the subscription box? They're not the brightest bulbs in the lighting department.

    3. Just another feeble attempt to harvest more email addresses of "interested suckers" for future grifting by the pesky Palin/Heath parasites. They can't sell those books, so why not give them away to stupid people in exchange for their personal contact information? Grifting 101. Those people spend every waking moment trying to think of ways to get money away from their zombie followers without providing anything of value in return. Like the autographs of Creepies 1&2 (plus their celebrity sister/daughter/family-fuck-buddy, Lou Sarah) add any luster to their piece-of-shit PR piece? Whatever. If the low-info palinbots insist on feeding the bears, they get what they deserve.

Am I bad for thinking that bare man breasts were more attractive to the "homophobic" GOP guys?

Ok, yes, I guess I am bad. (little smiley face here)

O/T, but I have to say that on DWTS, it seemed like Mark couldn't unload Bristol fast enough at the end of their short dance.

Also, I think they put the dancers in order of worst to best, as Bristol was first and the ones who left earliest danced later. Hmmmmm.

(Sorry, couldn't wait till the post. I'm on the East Coast.)

Dam, I missed the freak show! Oh well, that's what I get for going to see Skyfall.

I did catch Shawn last week, she got all tens from the judges, it was one of those challenges where they get two disparate dances and have to make them work out. She deserved to win just for that one dance (if she did win)

I think DWTS pretty much discredited Bristol tonight. They had a short add about her shooting a gun in Alaska and made the statement 'she missed'! Then, her dance was first and appeared much shorter than the others. Nothing much was made of her at all. And, her hog for attention mother didn't appear to be in the crowd - if she was, they didn't show her!

I had hoped Shawn and Derek would win tonight, but thought Melissa and her partner to be outstanding as well. Would have been interesting to see how close the votes were.

It Gets Worse for Mitt Romney as He is Named the Least Influential Person of 2012

Here is how GQ described Romney, “Was anyone inspired by Mitt Romney? Did anyone vote enthusiastically for Mitt Romney? Of course not. Voting for Romney is like hooking up with the last single person at the bar at 4 a.m. The only successful thing he did this year was embody every black stand-up comedian’s impression of a white person. Thank God the election’s over. No more endless photos of Mitt staring winsomely off-camera with that attempted smile on his face. No more glaring campaign mishaps week after week after week. No more labored media efforts to make him look like anything other than Sheldon Adelson’s pampered money Dumpster.”

Boehner should consider himself lucky. This group beats the hell out of idiots wearing tri-corn hats and screaming about a constitution they've never read.
And they are actually trying to save real lives.

Way OT: Gryphen, check it out... Palin makes a FB post and tweet about Vanessa Riddle, a young girl in Scotland, 12 yrs old fighting stage 4 cancer (very nice post, btw), and about Vanessa's goal of reaching 100k followers by Christmas.

All that is well and good. Nothing bad to say about that at all. It's a sad situation for the young girl, and I started following her a while back on Twitter myself. She certainly deserves everyone's thoughts, prayers and good wishes.

I also noticed that several celebrities are following her, which much bring a smile to the young girl's face (or I sincerely hope it does).

Thankfully, as of this evening, she's reached her goal of 100k followers!

However I did notice one person who is NOT following her: Sarah Palin.

Never let a good tragedy go to waste, eh "Governor" Palin?

The cause is a good one, Act Up has done good work educating people about AIDS and prevention. Good for them!

"What? Only the women were arrested? What in the hell is that all about?"

Unlike the men in Alaska, Naked Men in DC in less than 40 degrees causes "shrinkage", just saying!

Watch it ,Boehner! You could poke an eye out if you get close enough. Something tells me Boehner hasn't seen a naked woman in ages!
