President Obama and Democrats see significant bump in poll numbers after election.

Courtesy of Inside Politics:

President Obama and Democrats are getting a post-election bounce in their favorability ratings, but Republicans are essentially unchanged, according to the latest Gallup polling

Just over a week after winning a second four-year term, Mr. Obama's rating is up 3 percentage points, to 58 percent — his highest rating since late 2009, when he was in his first year in office.

And Democrats as a whole have seen a huge 6-point jump, from 45 percent before the election to 51 percent now, Gallup said. That also marks the highest rating since late 2009 for the party.

Sadly for the GOP they saw NO bump in ratings, and are still at the same 43% approval they were in 2011, and oddly enough that puts them seven points behind the man they scapegoating for losing the election, Mitt Romney, who is currently at a 50% approval rating.

Gee maybe it really WASN'T just Mitt Romney's crappy personality that lost him the election.

P.S. I don't how much this matters, but I WOULD be remiss if I did not mention that during the run up to the election, that Gallup had some of the most inaccurate poll numbers available. And that they were invariably tilted in favor of the Republicans.

Just keep that in mind.

    Now this is fucking terrifying!

GOP ReBiblicans Swept Congressional Races Virtually Unnoticed

I sign off with this, we no longer have simple partisan politics in America anymore. It is not Democrat vs. Republican – it is Freedom vs. Theocracy/Plutocracy. We must pay attention. Enjoy the White House win, but do not be lulled into a sense of comfort. I am not trying to be an alarmist, just a realist. I have been raised by a Dominionist mother, researched the extremism of people like her, worked as a lobbyist on the state level in Alaska with bi-partisan respect, recognized that Sarah Palin’s nomination for Vice President was shocking and have since devoted my waking hours to defeating the marriage of religion and politics.

Whoo Hoo! Harry Reid smackdown on McLame!

Harry Reid delivered a brutal smackdown to John McCain and the Republicans regarding their blatant, dangerous politicization of the attacks in Benghazi and misrepresentation of classified information for political purposes, starting off with, “I refuse to allow the Senate to be used as a venue for baseless partisan attacks.”

In a letter in which he denies Senators McCain, Graham, and Ayotte’s request for a Congressional Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi Attack, Senator Reid tore McCain and the Republicans apart.

Ok, when will we see Senator McCain on the Senate Floor, apologizing to Susan Rice, President Obama, the families of those who died and the American People?

I read the entire letter on the link you provided, Harry Reid sunk McCain's battleship!

    Let’s Expel Unhinged House Republicans

Republicans have disavowed that Barack Obama is the President of the United States since he defeated John McCain in 2008, and they have never altered their aberrant behavior one iota. Whether they sat passively and allowed their surrogates to question the President’s rightful birthplace, or impugned him as un-American, the sentiment is the same; he cannot be the President. Never before in American history has one party so traitorously sought to damage the nation’s economy for three-and-a-half years just to prevent President Obama from winning a second term and they show no signs of relenting in their attempt to delegitimize his presidency. In August, Iowa Representative Steve King proposed introducing a bill, which if it became law, would repeal everything President Obama has signed into law in the ultimate action to eradicate the President’s achievements from the historical record. Republicans have sat on their hands for the President’s entire first term and either outright obstructed or voted no on bills that helped all Americans, caused the nation’s first credit downgrade, and nearly caused a credit default that would have destroyed the full faith and credit of the United States, and they show no signs of letting up before the President’s next term even begins.

They fought against Roosevelt, too, despite the fact that the people loved him so much they elected him to the White House four times.

The Republicans should be glad that by law the President is now liited to just two terms or they'd just have to move to Canada.

Did Anonymous stop Karl Rove from Stealing Ohio again?

Election night, 2012, Ohio secretary of state site sent down at 11:13. One minute earlier than it did in 2004 and 2000, just before the results were flipped for bush when they came back up. The hackers known as anonymous claim to have blocked Karl rove's machine this time. Explains why he was so furious and adamant against the results this time, down to the exact same counties. He kept melting down on fox saying Obama would be declared loser

I think Romney knew about it, too. Did you notice how Romney was so adamant he was going to win, and how he had his new Adm website set up.
NO candidate is that adamant that they are going to win an election, unless they know the fix is in.

Mitt Romney’s favorability ratings are not 50%. The Gallup poll “skewed” their own poll to give Mitt Romney a 50% favorability rating, just like they skewed their own poll, to give Mitt Romney a 7 point lead, like 2 weeks before the election. Their final poll before the election gave Mitt Romney a 1 point lead, and the Gallup poll tried to explain away Mitt Romney’s disappearing 7 point “lead” (that he never really had), on Hurricane Sandy. The Gallup poll was one of the few polls that ever gave Mitt Romney a 50% favorability rating. The majority of other polls had Mitt Romney’s favorability rating under 50%. The Gallup poll is trash. They ruined whatever credibility they had left, in the 2012 election. They were awful in 2010, as well.

However, I believe the good numbers for Barack Obama, because they are similar to other polls. The Gallup is now trying to cover their ass.

As for republicans using Mitt Romney as a scapegoat for losing the election. You are being far to kind to that asshole. Mitt Romney is not a scapegoat. Mitt Romney is just as much to blame for his election loss, as the rest of his stupid party. Mitt Romney sucks.
