Once again, we are confronted with a visual reminder of the confrontation, the struggle and the killing that took place on that rainy evening on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Fla. This the latest in a series of photos showing Zimmerman's injuries that will surely renew questions about what happened that night. No doubt his supporters will say they prove him innocent of the second-degree murder charge against him.
But today's bloody photo doesn't solve the mystery of Trayvon's hands. There were "No DNA results foreign to Trayvon Benjamin Martin" found on them. Also, in a written statement, during a jailhouse interview and a reenactment the next day, Zimmerman said that he pulled the dead teen's arms away from his body after killing him. Yet, the police officer who arrived on the scene noted in his report, "The black male had his hands underneath his body." Until that question -- among many -- is answered, Zimmerman's dubious claim of self-defense will remain suspect.
I don't think that this picture does anything to help prove that Zimmerman did NOT follow that innocent young man and kill him in cold blood.
He supposedly was in fight for his life and has a bloody nose AND wounds on the back of his head, yet NO DNA evidence on Trayvon Martin's hands?
This case has ALWAYS stunk to high heaven, and this picture does nothing to minimize the stench.
I don't even want to get started on this PUNK. Zimmerman chases after Trayvon Martin, an innocent kid, and he gets bitch-slapped, so he has to murder the kid.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame they couldn't charge this fuck-wit with a capital crime. But on he other hand, Ted "Droopy Poopy Drawers" Nugent probably thinks old Z is a hero like himself, so Ted would like to to include him in a complementary three-way with Sean Hannity. You guys go get a room.
What you said.
DeleteI second that
DeleteYour first paragraph says it all. Your second paragraph aint so bad either.
DeleteDitto what the others replied.
DeleteLike
DeleteI'm betting someone else punched him, but either way he stalked and shot a teen boy for no reason.
ReplyDeleteThe guy in the top photo looks different, narrower face, not as heavy, than the two in the cuts on the head photo. This guy seems to be able to morph into very different looks within minutes. Or did Zimmerman recently get made up and pose for the evidence photo?
ReplyDeletethe kid must have worn gloves and not bruised at all. Because there was no swelling on his hands and that would happen after he died too.
ReplyDeleteZimmerman had someone sucker punch him and the blogs and anti-z groups think that his neighbor friend who he pointed to his house in the cop interview. He was there. He is one of the witnesses. I bet my life on it.
This wanna be cop killed a kid and claimed stand your ground. A stupid law that has once again claims a young life in FLoriDUH.
That photo looks photo shopped to me. I can't believe that this creep has not yet gone to trial yet.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree with you about the PhotoShop. The picture looks so phony.
DeleteScorpie
The photos at the time (when they took him into custody that night) showed absolutely no marks or blood on him, front or back. I think it is total bullshit.
DeleteIt took them this long to come up with one crappy photoshop job picture
DeleteSo why is it that George Zimmerman is the only one that night presumed to have the need to "Stand your ground".
ReplyDeleteI know for a fact that I will never set foot in the state of Florida because of these insane gun laws. A bunch of rednecks with guns just looking for an excuse to blow someone away. I wish someone would organize a boycott of their tourism industry until these laws are repealed.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely. Florida joined my list of states-I-will-never-go-to after the 2000 election but with this crime and the very recent murder of a teenager for having too loud music playing in his car absolutely nothing would ever entice me to visit this state. it's a shame too because we have good friends who retired to Florida.

You know, from the start i really wanted to keep an open mind about this case. I wanted to avoid jumping on the crucifixion of a possibly innocent man and tried my hardest to remain unbiased until more information was provided.
ReplyDeleteBut I'll be damned if it isn't impossible. The more information that comes out, the more it stinks and the more WTF it gets!
You have to wonder why this photo hasn't been released until now.
ReplyDeleteProbably has something to do with his latest round of fundraising from the racist wingnut faction of the country.
DeleteHow does a STALKER stand his ground? If he had not been stalking Trayvon Martin, and calling him a "FUCKING COON", he would have no ground to stand. Zimmerman created this crime by his own actions.
ReplyDeleteVery true. Just like the guy who last week shot and killed a boy in a car because the music he and his friends were listening to was too loud. Angry people who drive around with loaded guns are a clear and present danger to everyone else, especially if the everyone else is an African American.
DeleteBeaglemom
No, if you punch a guy in the nose you don't get blood on your hand. The blood comes later. But that's not to say that this Zimmerman creep is not guilty of murder. Stay credible because there's no reason not to be.
ReplyDeleteMaybe not but you wouldn't certainly get DNA
DeleteDeath penalty is too good for this joker.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the blood on the back of his head dried up but no drying on the front. The altercation took very little time from start to finished and police were on the scene quickly .I think the police on scene may have actually heard the shot since they arrived so fast after it occurred and very curious to hear the tapes of the police radio .(if they do indeed keep tape of police radio traffic in Florida.
ReplyDeleteI've knocked my head around a few times in my life, and I can assure you, a head injury bleeds and bleeds and bleeds.
DeleteI hit the back of my head on a sidewalk, and I needed 6 staples. The back of my shirt was absolutely drenched in blood. Yet, I've had a minor laceration on the back of my head previously, and it bled almost just as much, and the cut was so small, it didn't need staples or stitches, but based on the blood you would have thought it to be much worse.
It also takes time for the wound to clot and stop bleeding, even after it has been cleaned up.
They *should* have been looking for Zimmerman's DNA on a nearby brick wall or tree. I think he banged his own nose and the back of his head into some immovable, abrasive object to support his bullshit story.
ReplyDeleteToo late for that now...
DeleteI've seen absolutely NO explanation on why this photo was not released earlier....surely a man who was accused of murder would have released this photo MUCH earlier or have told the press of it's existence.
ReplyDeleteA desperate person (who could possibly face a death penalty), might do this or have this done to himself in order to have photographic "evidence".Compare the pain of the injuries shown to the misery and torture of living a life in prison, possibly on death row. I think you could find the fortitude to self-induce this "evidence".
why would police not have released this earlier, and why didn't Zimmerman complain about it's non-release. Too fishy, entirely.
That top pic has his nose photo-shooped.
ReplyDeleteGee, just think of how uninjured Zimmy would be if he'd kept his silly ass in his car and gone home...
ReplyDeleteyou know, fuck this shit. if someone is fighting for their life then of course they are going to mess up the other person. who knows what the hell went on there, but it's dishonest to use pics like this to defend an armed person in a situation where we know that an unarmed person was defending themselves against the armed person.
ReplyDeleteIf Zimmerman had stayed in his car, NOTHING would have happened.
ReplyDeleteIf Zimmerman followed ME around he'd be suffering from a broken nut sack.
He did it to himself or one of his cop buddies did it. Trayvon did not do that. Nice try zimmeracist. Ooh I hope I get on that jury.
ReplyDeleteYes, this stinks to high heaven! And I'm wondering if the police at the scene didn't help Zimmerman inflict some injuries upon himself after the fact. Especially as there was no Zimmerman DNA found on Travon. The first picture with a bloody nose and what appears to be a swollen nose doesn't show the same in the 2nd left photo which is suspicious. It appears that these photos were taken all at the same time as you can see Zimmerman has the same jacket on. So, is the first photo a photoshop job? And also the second on the right? It's very suspicious to me.
ReplyDeleteThe more I look at these 3 photos the more it is apparent that the first photo is definitely photo shopped, his nose is totally different than the 2nd picture.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find that first/top photo Grygh?
If Zimmypoo did what the dispatcher told him to, this wouldn't have happened. There's plenty of ways to get wounds like that- banging your head on a pavement, punching your own nose, walking into a wall, anything. He killed a kid then made it look like a fight so he could use "Stand your ground" as an excuse. Some self inflicted wounds are a small price to pay, compared to life in prison or the death penalty.
ReplyDeleteCapehart's points are valid- Treyvon didn't stand a chance, but even if he got a few punches in, he was defending himself.
The dispatcher clearly told him NOT to get out of his vehicle and wait for the police. Treyvon's autopsy, girlfriend's testimony, and the facts will show what happened.
Since he was packing, Zimmy felt like a big tough guy who deserved respect AND to be feared. He surely earned what little bit of a butt-whipping that Trayvon handed to him.
ReplyDeleteIt's pure speculation to wonder if Zimmerman had a run-in with someone else who beat the crap out of him - so he got his gun and hunted down the first f'n n'r he found?
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who are convinced that Mr. Zimmerman is innocent: imagine if it were a young, white athlete that was killed
...by a bitter black man. Would you still be so convinced?
I'm not convinced Mr. Zimmerman is innocent
nor am I convinced he is guilty.
I think we all need to resist the urge to rush to judgment and allow the wheels of justice to turn towards their conclusion.
What we should be debating is the "stand your ground" law. Do YOU know any damn fools? Do you know anybody that you wouldn't trust with a gun - because their judgment is horseshit? Boy I sure do. And I don't like the idea of any of the idiots I know standing out in their yard with a gun...
And remember: the law doesn't say "any reasonable WHITE man with a gun can stand his ground"
the law says anybody
and that includes black men, chicanos, gang members can stand their ground...
think about that...
now do you still think that law is a good idea?
How does he get a bloody nose and not wipe it away with his hand or sleeve? When was the bloody nose? When did it get cleaned up (bottom photo)? Are we sure it's his blood? How many minutes after the first photo was the bottom photo taken? Can we say for sure the bottom photo was even taken second?
ReplyDeleteNo matter what, this guy GOT OUT OF HIS CAR and STALKED Trayvon Martin; taking on the role of the police, which the 911 dispatcher told him NOT to do. This is entirely his doing, and he is very very at fault, IMO.
