Pastor claims that women who use the pill have "tiny fetuses embedded in their wombs" and serve as "graveyards for lots of little babies."

From Americans Against the Tea Party:

TEApublican radio host Pastor Kevin Swanson is certainly no scientist. On his radio show he claimed that upon examination by “certain doctors and certain scientists” that “there are these little tiny fetuses, these little babies, that are embedded into the womb…Those wombs of women who have been on the birth control pill effectively have become graveyards for lots and lots of little babies.”

I almost don't even know where to begin with this one.

This idiot's lack of knowledge about how women's bodies work, what the pill actually does, and how babies are made is beyond comprehension.

The insane part is that there are people listening to his radio show who believe that, simply due to his credentials as a minister, he has some revealed knowledge that they need to accept as fact.

Of course there are NO doctors or scientists that have "done research on women's wombs" and discovered tiny fetuses embedded in them, that is simply something this idiot made up and expects others to accept without questions.

And the sad thing is that due to being undereducated, home schooled, or educated in a Christian school, there are a number of people who will simply buy into these statements without any further research.

Sometimes there is just so much stupid in this country that it is exhausting.

The guy is an idiot, who does not understand how the female reproductive system functions, or basic human embryo development from fertilization through birth, and he doesn't seem to mind that everyone knows it. Maybe people that don't understand these mechanisms should not be allowed to procreate.

But, I can't help thinking that he, and all like him, are, in fact, nothing but woman haters. They are intimidated by women; and fear dealing with women in the workplace; and, would gladly deny women positions of influence in our society. His ignorant comments illustrate why these guys fit in so well with the modern Republican party...if they can't win public opinion with their position, they would gladly just change the rules, so that others are not allowed to participate. He really does want women at home, barefoot and pregnant, cooking up his evening slop. That way, they can make sure that their policies are the ones implemented.

I have nearly 200 tiny babies in my uterus right now.
      By Caperton on 2.4.2013

      Gettin’ crowded in there.

A warning to all uterus-havers who are on hormonal birth control: That uterus of yours is absolutely filled with tiny dead babies. Lots and lots of little babies. You’re basically a microbaby graveyard, says conservative radio host Kevin Swanson, a.k.a. That Snoring Guy In The Back Of Sophomore Biology Class, or alternately That Guy Not In Biology Class Because He Was Biblically Homeschooled and now promotes godly homeschooling and a Biblical worldview, and that’s just medical science.

"I’m beginning to get some evidence from certain doctors and certain scientists that have done research on women’s wombs after they’ve gone through the surgery, and they’ve compared the wombs of women who were on the birth control pill to those who were not on the birth control pill. And they have found that with women who are on the birth control pill, there are these little tiny fetuses, these little babies, that are embedded into the womb. They’re just like dead babies. They’re on the inside of the womb. And these wombs of women who have been on the birth control pill effectively have become graveyards for lots and lots of little babies."

What our evil Satanist bitch gynecologists tell us is breakthrough bleeding is actually the bitter tears of the tiny fetuses eternally embedded in our uterine lining. It’s science, y’all.

The doctors and scientists Swanson cites are members of the Association of Doctors Against Medicine-Based Medicine, which has recently released papers detailing the body’s ability to shut that whole thing down and a woman’s inability to get pregnant when the juices don’t flow and the body functions don’t work, as well as studies on how oxytocin depletion turns women into sluts. Watch this space for future research detailing the anatomical location of the human soul and the clinical dangers of same-sex marriage.

  4. What a sick bastard; obsessed with the reproductive systems of strange women, AGAIN.

Pointing out their lack of research, mockery, and shunning all have a place in dealing with this shit. I think I prefer shunning, because then they can’t be martyrs, and make a career of repeating criticisms to every available ear. You can bet that bastard is passive aggressive (“certain doctors and certain scientists”), and they live for martyrdom.

    Pastors on Parade:

Pastor of Evangelical Church claims he met Jesus while getting a BJ in a brothel. Valdecir was caught red-handed while rubbing his penis in the face of a local merchant, which promised to make more sales in her business due to the divine liquid.

Evangelical Pastor Sobrino Valdeci Picanto, 59, was arrested for raping several women attending his church.

The pastor claimed that the Holy Spirit would secrete from his penis in the form of "sacred milk". ... that his penis was blessed and that "the Lord had consecrated him with divine milk of the Holy Spirit" .... he had to release it in order to "evangelize".

"He has convinced us that only God could come into our lives through our mouth and that's why he would do what he did". Often, after worship, pastor Valdeci would take us to the where the funds were kept at the back of the Church and asked us to have Oral sex with him until the Holy Spirit would come through ejaculation".

Alas, lest we forget the Christian [voodoo] tradition that claims one drop of Mary's breast milk turns a stone white. To grind that stone to powder and consume it makes one virulently fertile.

Alack, the nun bragged that she wore Jesus circumcised foreskin on her ring finger was one-upped by a Priest who claims Jesus foreskin became the rings around planet Saturn.

      Talk about inflation!
Well, in a way it makes some (demented) sense.
After all, the Romans celebrated Saturnalia, the festival of the seven days and nights surrounding the Winter Solstice with supposedly great acts of debauchery and wantonness... according to old disapproving texts.

Talk about incorporation of ancient worship of natural phenomena into the later religions which derided the Old Ways, yet incorporated them into their own liturgy when convenenient.

      -------------------------

It breaks my heart to hear of the death of Chris Kyle. Mom and Dad posted a tribute to him on her Facebook page:

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and many friends of former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle tonight. Todd and I first met Chris in Pella, Iowa, when he helped out with security for the premiere of the film “The Undefeated.” And later we became friends with Chris when he was on “Stars Earn Stripes” with Todd. Chris was a wonderful man, a good friend, and a true American hero who loved our country and served honorably. He was loved and admired by so many, and he will never be forgotten.

Dad told me he had a wife and two kids, so please pray for them! I never met Chris, but my parents spoke so highly of him. And, on Stars Earn Stripes, do you remember he called my dad Rambo? I am just so sad to hear of his death. He was a true American hero.

      end.

    1. Not all homeschoolers are whackos and right-wingers. I've taught my two younger ones from 2nd & 4th grade all the way through high school. They learned evolution, advanced math, & lots more. Being freed from the time-wasting constraints of school gave them time to pursue their own interests & get much farther, with better understanding, in other subjects than they would have in school.

I don't mean to rant, but the anti-homeschooling knee-jerk reflex is irritating. A large minority (35-40%) of homeschoolers are doing it for reasons other than religion or keeping their kids away from real life. Judge people (if you must) on their own actions, not on their status as part of some group.

    2. Please don't knock all homeschoolers. I've taught my two younger kids from 2nd and 4th grade all the way through high school, they are both in college with straight A's & B's (and in a real college, not Liberty U). Being taught at home gave them time to explore their interests, as well as get farther with regular subjects than they would have in school. They learned to manage their time & schedules, get along with all ages of people, get part-time jobs & manage money & more. For schoolwork, they definitely learned evolution, higher maths & lots more.

We liberals are a sizeable chunk of the homeschooling population - 35% or so. Please don't lump us in with the nuts. Judge people (if you must) on what they do as individuals, not as members of a group. We had other kids her age on our street, so I made sure to check their school books at the beginning of each year, and after one month or so, she had everything covered. After that, she was allowed to educate herself on topics SHE wanted: physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, advanced math, geography, history... You get the picture. She was able to travel throughout the US at that time with science greats from astronautics - rocket scientists, astronauts, cosmonauts... She also taught college kids about veterinary care at the ripe old age of 12...

Interesting twist on the medieval "homunculus" theory, which held that sperm contained a very tiny, fully formed human being. When deposited in the womb, it grew to full size and was born. Apparently there was a lively debate as to whether the homunculus was to be found in a woman's body as well (i.e. womb), but the consensus was that it came from men, and that women were merely the incubators.

My guess is that "pastor" Swanson must have read the Wikipedia page on "homunculus," saw the reference to women, and let his women-hating imagination soar.

Will Desire to Gain Voters Prompt Iowa GOP to Change Course on Gay Marriage – Or at Least Muzzle Activists?

A cultural war is taking place within the Republican Party. In Iowa, where gay marriage opponents and social conservatives Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee have come out winners in the first-in-the-nation caucus, the conversation is critically important.

Troubled by polling data that shows traditional positions on issues like same-sex marriage are costing elections, the Republican Party is going through what its leaders politely call a period of introspection.

More brutally, it's a question of whether the GOP can hold its nose and keep quiet on same-sex marriage and other social issues in order to welcome in a new group of young voters whose priorities center more on fiscal values than family values.

The conversation is critically important – and difficult – in Iowa, where the results of first-in-the-nation caucuses and the Straw Poll leading up to the early presidential contest are increasingly criticized as reflecting a deeply fractured state party that hasn't produced any successful national standard-bearers recently.

Fight Against Gay Marriage? Not if the Iowa GOP Wants Young Voters

Young Republicans in Iowa are still split on the institution of marriage being extended to gay people. But there is a growing consensus among college-aged GOPers that in order to win elections, the party's focus should be elsewhere.

...Gay and lesbian campus groups and College Republicans haven't exactly been friendly to one another over the years, in Iowa or the rest of the country.

But there are signs that with this coming generation the trend could be changing, and for the Republican Party that could be critical.

"As a young Republican, I see where the party’s coming from with the idea of traditional marriage, but I cannot support that aspect of the platform," said Victoria Hurst, president of the University of Northern Iowa College Republicans.

She said she supports many Republican ideals, but not the party's stance on gay marriage.

"America has bigger problems than who can and cannot marry; it is time to move beyond this and focus on bigger problems, like the federal deficit and unemployment rates," she said.

Many young Americans - Democrats and Republicans - feel the same way, including several politically active young Republicans interviewed for this story by Patch.
