Well that would seem to be an appropriate choice for a fountain.

Once installed it would be the only honest thing about the place.

You know perhaps it would be worth reviewing what al-Qaeda's plan was for destroying America:

  1. Provoke the United States and the West into invading a Muslim country by staging a massive attack or string of attacks on U.S. soil that results in massive civilian casualties.
  2. Incite local resistance to occupying forces.
  3. Expand the conflict to neighboring countries, and engage the U.S. and its allies in a long war of attrition.
  4. Convert al-Qaeda into an ideology and set of operating principles that can be loosely franchised in other countries without requiring direct command and control, and via these franchises incite attacks against the U.S. and countries allied with the U.S. until they withdraw from the conflict, as happened with the 2004 Madrid train bombings, but which did not have the same effect with the July 7, 2005 London bombings.
  5. The U.S. economy will finally collapse by the year 2020 under the strain of multiple engagements in numerous places, making the worldwide economic system which is dependent on the U.S. also collapse leading to global political instability, which in turn leads to a global jihad led by al-Qaeda and a Wahhabi Caliphate will then be installed across the world following the collapse of the U.S. and the rest of the Western world countries.
So just to be clear it is not President Obama who is working on behalf of al-Qaeda, in point of fact it was the previous administration that did everything they asked of them. And more.

Maybe G.W. (Bush) should just admit that he is an al-Qaeda operative since he seems to have single-handily made their goal possible.... worst president ever!

  2. I worked with an Iranian engineer that had fled Iran when he was 17...he is over 50 now. He said the goal was to drag America into the "swamp". Now, if I am told that by my boss, couldn't someone have told that to Bushco? So I have to assume we the people paid for a venture capitalist deal in Iraq.
We truly were Bushco bankers... I say we get some of that $$$$$ back from Cheney, Halliburton, Bush, Wolfowitz and all the New Millenium stooges.

I am always saying - when the subject comes up - that Al Qaeda has already won. From the instant we crawled behind our "safety measures" such as airport security (which really does very little), we lost. How many hundreds of millions of dollars (if not billions) do we lose each year simply due to lost time from that one check point procedure?

And how many violations to the Constitution did Congress allow through in order to "protect" us? The Patriot Act should be contested in the Supreme Court. I would, but it is just a wee bit of a financial expense.

I mean, just a quick glance tells anyone who can read that it violates the Constitution. Why in the name of everything people consider holy would you NOT realize that being able to check up on what you read at the library is a violation - especially since they don't need a WARRANT! LOTS of shit like that in the Patriot Act!

And then there are the legal violations, such as not getting court orders for wire tapping or monitoring of international communications - well, until AFTER the fact.

You want more? As someone posted on IM today, LOOK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!

    Yes, they have won.

We can't negate the role "Big War INC" Aka Cheyney's Halliburton no bid contracts had in this fiasco. Bush "surprised" the troops on Thanksgiving with a photo op of plastic replicas of traditional meal with all the fixins while soldiers were electrocuted due to shddy electrical work.

Rumsfelf quipped that "Each and every one of them (soldiers) raised their hand and said 'Pick Me'" While Bush kissed the Saudis on both cheeks and walked hand in hand. How much did Neal make selling "wells"? Yes, Buscho led us into hell, that fountain is perfect!

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, Rice, and a cast of thousands of war hawks lied the USA into the exact scenario that AL Queada had always dreamed of.

The damage done to our national security and the cost in blood and money has yet to be realized, never mind paid for.

Caring for hundreds of thousands of wounded and PTSD soldiers is going to run into many billions,
and we owe it to them to not do it on the cheap.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dan-froomkin/iraq-soldiers-wounded_b_1176276.html

The cost in international relations, and our reputation as a feckless bunch of cowboys will take years to overcome.

Witness the horrific and misguided notion of the Boston Bombers who murdered children due to our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

How stupid would you have to be to invade a Muslim country, and ignore their culture, religion, tribal alliances, and think you could do nation building?

How stupid would you have to be to not realize that occupying Muslim countries would resonate for decades or even centuries in the entire Arab world, and would guarantee terrorist attacks in perpetuity?

Bush's legacy of lies, crimes, coverups, idiocy, gaffes, and war crimes is a painful cancer on the American soul, and them chickens have yet to really come home to roost.
