“I’m going to tell the judge, I love my children,” “Hitler’s Order” leader Heath Campbell said to the station before a closed-doors hearing in Flemington, New Jersey. “I wanna be a father, let me be it.”
“I’ve never abused my children,” Heath Campbell told the station regarding the charges. “I only name my children and I don’t think it’s right anymore.”
Somehow I think that naming your child after Adolph Hitler MIGHT just be considered a type of abuse.
Reporter: "Do you think having the uniform on will help or hurt your cause?"
Moron in the Nazi uniform: "Well, you know what? The world needs to see who I am. I'm not a bad person. It's not what's on the outside of you, it's what's on the inside."
Says the guy going to court to convince a judge to let him have visitation rights WHILE WEARING A FUCKING NAZI UNIFORM!
I really don't think that the judge needs to look too deeply into Mr. Campbell's character in order to see what kind of person he is, and that he should have NO access to his children.
Or am I being too judgmental?
And he's running for Congress, right? I mean, he would fit right in with the other wingnuts. After all, Bachmann is leaving.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure he is Bachman.
DeleteWhat an absolute idiot. I would think any judge seeing a father dressed like that is seeking visitation of his children would be an automatic "NO" as soon as he walked into the court room.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love how the rotten teeth and cigarette smoke permeates his every word of prized parenting skills... the Nazi uniform fits him.
ReplyDeleteThis guy must be a real treat at parent-teacher conferences.
ReplyDeleteThe other children — 6-year-old JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and 5-year-old Honzlynn Jeannie Campbell named after the SS head Heinrich Himmler
ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Himmler

Campbell said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because "no one else in the world would have that name".
"They need to accept a name. A name's a name. The kid isn't going to grow up and do what [Hitler] did," he said.
Time to petition the judge for name changes.
DeleteJoyce Lynn Campbell
Lynn Jeannie Campbell
And for the boy, Maybe Arthur or Arnold, Henry or Harold or Howard.
Better get it done quick before the kids start beating them on a regular basis.
Why did his wife stay with him for five minutes after he first wanted to name a child for Adolf Hitler? Frankly, why did she go with him in the first place? This guy is a real creep.
DeleteThe man is a definite 51/50.
ReplyDeleteYou’re not being too judgmental; even a retarded dog can produce offspring, but no one would want those puppies. I feel very sorry for sentient children who are the issue of such beings.
ReplyDeleteIn my working years, I might have met a couple of thousand people. I remember women who complained bitterly about the laziness and stupidity of their partners, but they still kept having children with the fools. They knew I disapproved, and usually dropped their eyes when they came around asking for help with math or something.
Gryphen, I’m at my wit’s end with some of these folks. Thankfully, I’m semi-retired and they can’t find me. God help me, I still want to take a 2X4 to their heads.
What kind of a woman would willingly boink that man?
ReplyDeleteEva Braun Peep Czar Badd.
DeleteI would not like to see a country in which a parent's political views affected his or her custody.
ReplyDeleteI do recall that Heath Campbell's wife went along with the naming back when this was news a few years ago.
Where is she now? And why was little Heinrich born after the other children were taken from his/her custody? Is his mother the same as the other three children's?
Campbell is so obviously nuts that he would not be an ideal parent, but his custody suit should be based on his mental competence, not his repulsive beliefs.
He's a crazy narcissist who loves the attention, and has used his children to get more of it. He'll never shut up about his "rights," and he's the reason we need gun control.
I remember when this kid was born and baptized. It was in the news. Even then it was being called child abuse.
ReplyDeleteSo they're divorced now? Why hasn't Mom had the kid's name changed to something else?
Arthur Howard Campbell?
Arnold Henry Campbell?
I'll bet a judge would approve it in a heartbeat. At 8 years old, he's already entered being bullied for being named for an infamous Nazi territory.
Where I live, both parents have to approve a minor's name change.
DeleteIs that a....
ReplyDelete*GinaM squinting*
a....a...SWATISKA TATTOO on his neck??
W T hillbilly FUCCKKKKKKKK!!
Anybody know if he got visitation? Please say....HELL NAW! LOL!!
And it's not even a passable attempt at a real Nazi uniform, sheesh! He managed to create something that not even Hermann Goering would have approved, much less AH.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a German Army uniform, nor is it a Nazi Party uniform, and it certainly isn't an SS uniform. I see little bits and pieces of obvious Nazi-era regalia and insignia on what appears to be a badly made gray suit, but it ain't real.
Yes, this is a sarcastic remark, but I'm being seriously sarcastic here, using my degree in 20th Century history for once this week. It's guys like this who give Adolf Hitler a bad name. Oh, wait...
These poor children are destined to have no friends growing up. I mean, as a parent would you allow your child to go to this man's house to play with his kids? Hell no!
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree that those names constitute a form of child abuse and should be changed. Why hasn't the mother done so?
Hold it here, folks. I find this guys as politically abhorrent as the rest of you obviously do. But do you really want the government making such decisions as child naming - or using it as a basis for taking away parental rights.
DeleteThat knife cuts both ways - remember Dweezel?
Moon Unit Zappa? And what about the wonderfully talented and seemingly very stable now 40 y o Tao Rodriguez Seeger? Scout and Tallulah Willis? All were looked at as left/hippie excesses that shoudl be stopped "back in the day."
And there is NOTHING wrong with the name Adolph. It's just a German name, and there are others besides Hitler who are so named - from the wonderfully talented and gentle Harpo Marx of the Marx brothers, to Dolph Lundgren.
You can be called whatever you want - doesn't necessitate a name change. You just start using it and it is legal. (unless you are using another name to avoid prosecution or commit a crime.) So kid calls himself Al Campbell and no one's the wiser.
In Germany it is against the law to name your child Adolf. (What used to be a not uncommon name.)
DeleteIt is also unlawful to sing the old German National Anthem "Deutchland über alles".
Not sure what else, but there are some other laws on their books directly stemming from post WWII.
We consider Germany to be a very Democratic state. If they can protect their children from stigma, seems the U.S. could do the same.
BTW did anyone read the Huffington Post article on worst baby names? Only the ones that got 7 babies or more made the list. And it is a doozy.
Who names their kid Female or Vagina or Anally? Well, at least seven parents did.
I'm not a prude by any stretch of the word, and I admire tastefully done body art and some piercings. Where I draw the line is the swastika symbol visible on "Mr Campbell"'s neck. Everyone knows it's a hate symbol unless it's depicted in hindu and other artwork as "The eye of God" or spiritual center.
ReplyDeleteHe named his kids after the most putrid beings that ever lived, and wants the court to give him a chance to show he's a good father?
I hope he takes it to the Supreme Court, just to make it crystal clear that it's child abuse.
And when he dresses up for the supreme court, I hope he choses crisp white sheets with a pointy hood. It's only fashion, right?
Mr Campbell needs to find a new hobby, four kids and a Nazi Fetish. What redeemable qualities did his wife or wives see in him? I don't get it.
Or am I being too judgmental?
No you are not!!
DeleteI have friends who have dome serious time in the can and they are covered with swastikas and other similarly offensive stuff, I accept them for who they are, and not what is in their skin, even if their tattoos are offensive. Sometimes people make decisions that are really fucking stupid, but they effect their whole lives.
DeleteHe'll be wearing sheets. However we could debate on how bright and white those sheet will be. Did anyone else notice this guy's teeth...yuck!
DeleteGryphen, the best thing about America is FREEDOM.
ReplyDeleteIf someone wants to marry someone of the same sex, they should be able to. If a woman wants access to birth control she should have it. If an atheist wants to wear a t-shirt that says 'There is no God' they should be able to. If a racist wants to wear a World War II uniform, he should be able to.
In America, you have to accept the bad with the good. That's the way Freedom works. It's not selective, it's for EVERYONE.
Not when their decisions cause irreparable harm to children I don't.
DeleteI agree with you Gryphen. There is no excuse for child abuse- emotional or physical. Teaching your kids to hate is a bad thing. Naming your child after a man responsible for the slaughter of 12 million people is SICK. This man shouldn't have children. The wife should have also legally changed this kids name.
DeleteI would have to agree with Anonymous 9:35 at this point in time, Gryphen. The deranged man does still retain his inalienable rights for the pursuit of happiness, & etc. To want to take that away from him out of hand means taking it away for all of us in the long run.
DeleteUnfortunately, he is just a symptom of a larger sickness in this country which does not the wherewithal to provide the counseling he needs. If he is truly abusing his kids psychologically and physically, it must be proved legally.
I have pity for all involved, the obviously mentally ill parent who dresses in the style of a monster, and the poor children, (and most likely they are materially poor,) who must live with him.
Compassion is needed here, Gryphen. I'm a devout atheist and recovering Episcopalian, but the simple humanitarian ideals as exemplified in the life and words of Jesus still resonate within me from that long-ago training.
Peace
What an idiot! What is wrong w/so many Americans today?
ReplyDeleteWasn't there another guy that named his kid Hitler? I believe the law stepped in and made them change the child's name.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the same guy.
DeleteSomeone (Mother maybe?) was trying to stop him from naming his kid Adolf Hitler but the judge upheld the Father's right to give his kid this abhorrent name.
Not surprised the Mother eventually divorced him. What I don't understand is how she stayed with him long enough to have two more kids.
And given his propensity, why didn't he name the girls Eva Braun Campbell or even Idi Amin Campbell.
There are other countries in the world in which naming a child Adolf or Adolf Hitler is forbidden by law. Germany for one.
in the world of palin, this would be normal, if you can name kids after planes trains and whores, whats wrong with a Nazi or two? lol
ReplyDeleteExactly. Tri- G means Down Syndrome for fuck's sake. That is as bad or Worse than Hitler. I mean, the kid isn' t Hitler but Tri-g IS retarded.
DeleteYou are being too judgemental I think. It is a bad name, but unless he is otherwise abusing or neglecting his kids....why can't he be the father? CPS lets kids back with far far far worse parents IMHO.
ReplyDeleteParents sometimes name their kids stooopid names.
Candace Kane
Ima Short
Anyone who name their kid "DICK"
I fee; sad for the kids, but this dad has every right. Weird as it may be.
The guy is ignorant and just plain nuts to boot. He should be sterilized so he can't have any more children and those he has fathered already need to be protected from him forever.
ReplyDeleteJust the name "Adolph Hitler" has such bad connotations that it was many decades before Hollywood could even find an actor willing to play the part because of the name association.
I fully agree that what he did is child abuse; no question about that!
But, but, but...Obama!!! Seriously, yes, it is child abuse to name your kid after the worst mass murderer the world has ever known.
ReplyDeleteI was reading about this couple. They aren't together. The wife left. This man can't read and the wife dropped out of school in the 10th grade. I saw a note she wrote about the husband and she is functionally illiterate at best. In the note she said the husband has threatened to kill her and has tried several times. She said she is afraid that he will try to harm the children and begged he never be allowed near them. This goes much deeper than naming the kids abusive names (one daughter is named arian nation)but to the case of mental competence.
