Okay do I have to start respecting Megyn Kelly now?

Damn! I have to admit that Kelly schooled those two neanderthals within an inch of their lives.

I think I might have a weird politically conflicted crush on her.

Here is where we discussed the original story.

I don't respect M. Kelly. She was far too gentle. When I finish with jerks like these, their eyebrows are singed and a whole bottle of Viagra isn't enough for them to get it together for at least a week.

Even idiots are right, occasionally. Doesn't make them less of an idiot.

It's funny, I was thinking earlier today how most of my great-grandmothers were the main breadwinners of their families. For me, this is not a new idea. (The only one I'm not including...I'm not sure about because she and her husband died when my grandfather was a teenager and I don't know anything about them other than the fact that they died.)

  3. No, Gryph, not really... I read a transcript of Megyn's rant and although her heart is in the right place, she has no empirical data, no facts, no studies to cite, really nothing to prove she is much more than a pretty face.

So you can admire her rant, but respect her? I don't think so. Save your respect for people like Rachel Maddow, who can back up her opinions with facts and data.

Hell No! Megyn will always be slime. When Rush Limpballs was attacking Sandra Fluke, Megyn didn't defend Sandra. Actually, she joined in on the attacks. So Fuck Her.

Megyn's come to Jesus moment is all about Megyn. She was basically defending herself because she's a working mother. When it comes to other women's issues she could care less.

I absolutely agree. She used to lead the bitches against women brigade until she had a kid and only then did she express any concern about things like maternity leave, fathers contributing to child care, working mothers, etc.

Even now, it only counts if it affects Megyn. She's still slime.

I totally agree. As a working mom, she took this personally. Thus the rant.

But it was good to see her smack them down, despite Dobbs' little "ain't that little lady cute when she's angry" smirk.

Sorry to have to do that, but you needed some sense knocked into you before it was too late.

Obviously Kelly realizes what neanderthals she works with. Despite that, she has 'sold her soul to the devil' by working for Faux, espousing their garbage, and being paid handsomely. Essentially she has prostituted herself for $$$.

This is just FOX News latest attempt to scam women voters into voting republican. They know they already have the religious white male vote so let their "ladies" beat up on these guys a bit.

  11. She’s freaking brilliant when she wants to be. But I think she’s made an enemy of Lou Dobbs; he won’t forget this, just as Karl Rove won’t forget her schooling him. The other guy, not so much, he seems wimpy. Watch your back, smart lady.

No, an occasional lapse into humanity doesn't bring her back from the dark side. The sad thing is if there was a change in her she'd be out the door overnight. I'm sure she had her ass handed to her after the show.

Actually, it crossed my mind while watching this that it was a political stunt, done to attract viewers and show how Fox is so "feminist," and doesn't put down strong women or fear them. Paranoid, aren't I? lol

No, you don't have to start respecting Megyn Kelly now.

Yes, she took those two neanderthals apart for saying stupid shit.

But Megyn Kelly says stupid shit and takes stupid positions
    all
    day
    long.

She strikes like a cobra when the conservative hate mongering splashes back on HER.

But she works for an organization that dishes out - and she herself spews the same conservative hate-bullshit
    all
    day
    long
and doesn't give one shit about it as long as it doesn't directly affect her.

If anything, this very telling display of her cognitive dissonance makes here even more despicable.

She and the gal (Greta) that liked Palin so much (and interviewed her often) both went after the men they work with....you think the higher up/owner suggested this be done to make their network look better and give brownie points to the Republican party? Crossed my mind because I don't trust them as far as I can throw them!

    "Oh, Dominant One."

The old goat has been reduced to childish name calling. He is nothing but a schoolboy bully who got a bloody nose on national TV. He is now crying like a baby and ranting about the "Dragon Lady." Bigot tears are the most delicious tears!

So Fox is making a play for a broader demographic?

Too late. The other networks exposed Sarah five years ago.

I would if she stood up for others when they are offended by some of the outrageous things these guys say instead of just waiting till she personally is offended. It is a good start though maybe she's finally seeing the light.

I'm sure Megyn Kelly would present herself as an entirely different person if she didn't work for Fox. To be on Fox as a female, one must have blonde hair, big boobs, and spew the Fox News vomit.

    Good for her.

Every time a woman speaks up, we win a tiny step forward. It reminds me of Erin Burnett, a few years ago when she was reporting financial news for msnbc (before she went to CNN). On Morning Joe one morning, Donny Deutsch said something typically piggish to her, and, on live tv, without skipping a beat, she responded: "I could sue you for that." And she wasn't smiling.

Who IS Erick Erickson? Not the noted psychologist, that's for sure!

Some puffy dude who knows what he knows. The end.

I loved how she simply talked over Lou Dobbs and then cut him off by switching back to Erickson.

The two men looked like Tweedledumb (sic) and Tweedledumber.

Listen to Megan's rant on Billo about Sandra Fluke.

I wouldn't be changing my mind about her anytime soon!

      I only made it halfway.

"Fluck her". Megyn went to law school and is a news reader who can't pronounce "Fluke"? Why is it suddenly about the pay grade of a first year lawyer fresh out of Georgetown vs what she made, but fails to mention?

Jealous much? Magina Calais? Stick with Fox, come back in four years and see what Sandra Fluke makes of herself.

I'll take it! Ethical- not so much. But piss off the "Oh Dominant One" and she'll make you eat your shorts. It's sorta feels good to have the bully fighting for the good side every once in a while.

Megyn Kelly is a vacuous bitch, just the way Rupert Murdoch likes them. Murdoch would have her showing her tits if he could.

There's no reason to change your mind about her based on her attitude towards her workmates - she's no better than them.

Megyn's on Fox news for three main reasons, her gender, her hair color, and how her legs look in high heels and short skirts. Remember Election night with Rove? The camera man followed her down the labyrinth of corridors to the "War Room", focusing on her legs and breathless laments of how far away the room was...

Does Fox do the same with Sean, Billo, Greta, Tucker, and "The Five"?

If she had an iota of smarts, she'd have quit years ago.
