RNC goes all in as they use perception that Hillary is getting preferential treatment from NBC and CNN due to possible biopics to attempt to raise money. Oh, and they add a little Benghazi to spice it up.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

The Republican National Committee on Sunday released an ad online attacking CNN and NBC for alleged media bias over their decision to produce documentaries about Hillary Clinton, a potential 2016 presidential contender.

The RNC has threatened to end its partnership with the two networks in the hosting of 2016 GOP primary debates if they don't cancel plans for the Clinton documentaries.

The ad includes footage from Clinton's testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the September 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, with a subtitle that reads, "Here's one clip they might 'forget' to show you." The footage covers Clinton's heated exchange with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) as the then-secretary of state was questioned about the attack on a U.S. facility that resulted in the death of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.

The RNC urges viewers to "Stop Media Bias" by signing its petition to "drop planned programming promoting Hillary Clinton."

Interestingly  enough the ad says NOTHING about the fact that Fox Television Studios has signed on to produce NBC's miniseries.

When asked about that this weekend Wretched Proboscis had this to say:

“The big question for me, Candy, is, No. 1 , which company is putting it on the air, who’s doing the work. I’m not interested if they’re using the same caterer, or whether they all drink Diet Coke. I’m not boycotting Diane Lane,” Priebus said. “I’m going to boycott the company that puts the miniseries and the documentaries on the air for the American people to view.”

CNN host Candy Crowley said she was talking about the people producing the series, but Priebus dismissed the report.

“Some researcher at CNN or NBC worked for a few days to find some little connection somewhere down the road to bring something into this debate. I think it’s totally ridiculous and stupid,” Priebus said. “The fact is, what channel am I going to tune into to see the documentary and miniseries?”

Damn look at this little shit contort himself to get out of answering that question honestly.

Hell no wonder these idiots in the GOP can shove heir heads up their own ass so easily and often.

Okay now can we all dispense with the idea that Hillary is not running?

Somehow I don't think the RNC would get this worked up if they believed for an instant that she weren't.

Those guys are so clever! They know that if no sane person sees their candidates debate, it can only help them, and that's what this is about, right?

They are beyond help. When they rehired Priebus, who did nothing last cycle but the same whining and dodging he's still doing, it was almost like they had already given up. If the GOP cared about anyone, they would be working to better the nation instead of the constant lying and tearing down of everything that's good: public education, a strong infrastructure, strong unions and good jobs, caring about all children, our retired and ill population. The GOP cares about nothing but the next dollar in their pockets, and ruining the US forever. Vote, people. Vote for Democrats or GOP with half a brain. We must get rid of the Tea Party next year. They are a bad bad force in this country.

Well, I'd say she's running all right, and here is where it REALLY begins...

She has the absolute luxury of announcing when she is damn good and ready, and no one can change that. Until then they are pissing in the wind, since no real attention will be paid to anything they do until she is a candidate. And even then, they'll be dragging out such old stuff that has been through the media mill that nothing will land for long. They are so petrified of her, it's a sight to behold.

The GOP is scared to death of Hillary Clinton and she hasn't even announced that she'll be running for POTUS! What fucking assholes! She has them running scared as they know they have no one to put up against her that has the qualifications or experience!

And, I thought FOX was going to run the Hillary 'special'? Friggin' idiots!

Most of the American population is sick of watching them doing 'nothing' since McCain ran for POTUS and lost by a large majority due to the idiot Sarah Palin that he put on his ticket in the 2nd spot!

They have never gotten over it and fear the half white man that is our wonderful POTUS! Thank God he was elected over McCain and Romney!

Like the "boy that cried wolf," how many times do we have to listen to this until it falls on deaf ears? Same old crap, different day. "Hey! Let's disenfranchise voters as well that will vote the other party. Yeah, that's the ticket!"

When it comes right down to it, what HAS the GOP done to give opportunity to all citizenry? Dispel of the weakest and make their suffering worse.

As for "bitch with a hitch" $arah (thanks, anon, whomever you are), go ahead and paint that wagon for third party. You KNOW what's going to happen and you'll look an even bigger fool than you already are to the SMART kids.

They've got nothing. NOTHING. Only themselves to blame because a (gasp) black man was elected to the White House. TWICE.

It all has to do w/voting in the upcoming elections across the nation. Vote the Republicans OUT wherever possible. National (U.S. Congress) - State = Republican governors - and cities - (Assemblies, etc.!)

Alaska is a fine example for needing to get Republicans out of office. City of Anchorage run by Mayor Sullivan. It's Port built, constructed and improved by prior Gov Sheffield, who was selected by Sullivan to run the project. Inspections have since found many errors and corrections that need to be done! This is expected to cost Anchorage folks in additonal taxes in the millions!

Republicans are the very worst in our nation! Obstructionists who could care less for the taxpayers. And, they are not in support of women's rights!

PAY ATTENTION FOR WHOM YOU CAST YOUR VOTE! Get the friggin' Republicans out of office wherever possible!

Real journalists are going to have to fight fire with fire.

If the Republican mouthpieces won't answer legitimate questions from the press, then the journalist shouldn't give the politicians any more airtime.

"Mr. Priebus. Would you please answer my question?"

If the guest in question continues to bob and weave, the journalist should then say, "Thank you for coming on the show. Now we're going to the next guest." And that's the end of it.

It's like training a dog. Unless these jokers behave as they're supposed to -- answering real questions with real responses -- then they should be ushered off camera to go about their merry way.

No, don't do that. He'll shit on the carpet like he would if a journalist asked him a couple of tough questions back-to-back.

I seem to be reading a LOT lately about the repugs going "all in." At what point do we acknowledge that this desperation is looking more like a death spiral?

Maybe the RNC needs some end of life planning?
    Fortunately, Obamacare(tm) will cover that!

5:32 I so agree w/you! If the idiot Sarah Palin is to be covered by ANY of the national media, they should not do so UNLESS she comes on their programs and answers their questions with nothing being given to her to prepare prior to the show! Then, and for finality (!), she would flunk and be off the scene forever. She is a friggin' idiot and fraud and nothing more!

It is now August, 2013. The next Presidential election isn't until 2016.

At the rate these idiots are flipping out about Hillary, their skivvies are all going to resemble Poopy-Pants Nugent's long before then.

I keep seeing news items, about how "the right" has gone bonkers over something.

On Facebook, today, it was mentioned that the President is reading a book written by (RUN, EVERYONE!) a MUSLIM...and that "the right" is laying on the floor with a thumb stuck in their mouth, going around in circles on their shoulders, like a spoiled kid who was told there'd be no candy.

I'm trying to figure out just who they are referring to.

And I'm pretty sure its MAINLY the morons on the various Fox shows, hoping to whip up the populace.

I highly suspect that Clem Sue Bob Cornhole, of Stupidville, Kansas, gives half a crap...and is watching Fox with the sound off, masturbating to Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson, hoping to see a boob pop out when they get really animated over some new bit of nonsense.

  13. So many people would not have cared about or noticed these shows. Who even knows if they would be favorable towards Hillary? I find it hard to believe that a Hilary biographer would be able to resist at least a light re-hashing of the scandals, faux scandals, and marital issues that have followed the Clintons around for decades.

But the republicans, like a dog slamming its head repeatedly into the back of a parked car, just keep screaming OMGZ! THERE'S GONNA BE SHOWS ABOUT HILLARY THAT WILL MAKE EVERYBODY THAT WATCHES THEM VOTE FOR HER! OMGZ!

Way to jack up the chances that people will become very interested in Hillary who otherwise might not be, dumbasses.

Keep it up republlicans, you're doing great!

  14. I'm going to vote for Hilary not because I think she is a leftist or liberal, but because I love to hear the right wing whine.. and I have even vowed to never vote again but 8 more yrs after Obama, I can still hear the wackos like Malkin, Bachmann and their make counter parts opening their insane mouths, the more the USA will actually see that they are truly bad for this country and also let the USA see the Dens need to be moving on down the line too....

I will vote for Hillary Clinton when she runs for POTUS. There is NO ONE as qualified as she on the Republican/opposing side and they know it!

I can hardly wait to have another Dem in the White House for eight years! At least, the racist thing will finally stop! I'm truly tired of the Republican KKK side coming out - much the same as they were years ago when they were wearing the white robes! Their jibber jabber about our wonderful President Obama is really getting old and boring! Thank God, the majority of Americans respect our president! The Republicans STILL cannot get over the fact he was elected TWICE by a large margin both times. They obviously haven't learned a damned thing! Friggin' idiots!

The only good thing the Republican party has going for it is the fact the old, white, fat guys are going to be dying off and hopefully, the younger ones coming up will be more respectful of women and at least, ACT like the Christians they profess themselves to be!
