George Zimmerman was being questioned Monday in Central Florida after his estranged wife called police saying he threatened her with a gun.
Lake Mary police say they were called around 2:30 p.m. to the Sprucewood Road home of Shellie Zimmerman's parents, David and Machelle Dean.
Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson said police are "trying to determine what exactly happened."
According to Chief Steve Bracknell, Shellie Zimmerman called 911 claiming George Zimmerman had a gun and was making threats.
The victims are not speaking to police and were waiting for their attorney to arrive, Bracknell said.
As of 3:20 p.m., no arrests have been made.
Oops, Georgy might have REALLY stepped in it this time!
You know once somebody gets away with misusing a firearm to solve a problem, there is really no reason for them not to continue doing that very same thing in the future.
Personally I think the man is a menace and the sooner somebody finds a reason to lock his chubby ass up, the better.
Chubby ass?? You are too kind. He is morbidly obese and he Will kill again. After he got away with murder he thinks he is invincible.
ReplyDeletehave you seen him? he's back to his skin head pre-trial look. Bald, fu-manchu mustache and trimmed hard muscle.
DeleteYep, the obesity was just an act to subconsciously influence the jury with the image of a fat white man versus a healthy young teenage black boy. Georgie and his team knew and know exactly what they're manipulating: of course Porky needed to shoot the powerful black boy. It was self-defense! I'm crying a tear for Trayvon's family. This is injustice. Stupid prosecutors and really stupid jurors. The jury was the last line for justice and they failed. They failed to critically examined the facts, they failed to read in between the lines, they failed to detect Porkchop's theme of operation. They failed the victim and his family.
DeleteWell, he was absolved of all criminal charges for murder, so why shouldn't he use his gun to solve all life's problems? He is such a loser who has been protected far too much by his dad. I hope his wife can get away from him safely. He doesn't seem to have boundaries in his life.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
DeleteOT but gun related -
ReplyDeletehttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/08/yellowstone-shooting-death_n_3891379.html
tragic - now that folks can carry guns into our national park, a 3 year dies from a self inflicted gun shot wound
Not surprised especially because of the divorce. Although, it's a lot sooner than I thought. He's a walking time boom it seems. I hope he finds himself in a cell for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how all the idiots that donated money to him feel now? What a bunch of suckers.
Exactly! This so called man has attacked a child, women and now an older man. How anyone can defend this loser let alone send him money is beyond me!
DeleteFat-Boy is the NRA Poster Boy for the cowardly gun goons who are afraid to go to their mailbox without body armor and a butt-buddy to hold their hand and tell them what "bad-asses" they all are.
ReplyDeleteNow Shellie says that her soon-to-be-ex-husband feels invincible since his acquittal. Invincible? Haha This punk won't last very long out in the real world if he's not man enough to even talk to his father-in-law without packing his pistola. He's a chump just like his fans.
Wise investment for the idiots who loaded up his pay-pal account so he could pay off all his credit cards. You know, that whole personal responsibility thing that Quitter is always screeching about. Paying Fat-Boy-Bigot's overhead is almost as stupid as subsidizing that sorry-ass bunch of moochers, the Palin-Heath from Wa-siller. You'd think that with all of that free coin coming their way, those sibling-humping rednecks would get a couple of cases of condoms from Costco and put a couple in each vehicle, since *some say* that seems to be the only place they screw one another. Shocking, I know, huh?
"Now Shellie says that her soon-to-be-ex-husband feels invincible since his acquittal."
DeleteAnd he will be invincible until he meets up with that one guy who has a bigger gun. Then he will be very dead.
Sorry Balzafiar, I have to disagree slightly. Georgie won't be *very* dead. He'll just be *a little bit* dead. Kind of like being just a little bit pregnant in PalinLand. "Hey, how did I get pregnant? I took my BC pills almost half of the days I was supposed to. Well, maybe not that many, but I took them most of the days after I had sex with 3 or more guys when I remembered... I guess they don't work as well as abstinence used to work before I turned 12."
DeleteI read on another thread that they were arguing over the last bucket of KFC. who knows,,,
ReplyDeleteDid he marry his sister?
ReplyDeleteI see the resemblance, yes.
DeletePer Little Green Footballs:
ReplyDeleteAccording to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell, Shellie Zimmerman called 911 claiming George Zimmerman had a gun and was making threats.
“He’s in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying ‘step closer’ and he’s just threatening all of us,” Shellie Zimmerman said in the 911 call, adding that George Zimmerman was “trying to shut the garage door” on her.
“He punched my dad in the nose my dad has a mark on the nose. I saw his glasses were on the floor,” Shellie Zimmerman said in the call. “He then accosted my father then took my iPad out of my hands.”
That punk WILL kill again. Bank on it.
The NRA should use Zimmerman as their poster boy for why we need to carry guns.
ReplyDeleteAlthough she's no angel, and she married -- and stayed married -- to this miscreant for seven years (!), Shellie Zimmerman should:
ReplyDelete1) immediately change her name. Perhaps to something other than her maiden name. Tough, but necessary;
2) Move out of the state of Florida. Again, tough but necessary.
3) Say adios to the dogs. They'll understand. Be thankful every day that you didn't have any children with him;
4) Let Geo. Z. have contact only through her lawyer, and then only when something of vital legal interest, affecting her divorce, warrants it;
5) lose 30 lbs, or get a nose job or, in some way, alter her appearance enough so that, if he's cruising around the country on the look-out, he can't identify her.
6) Until 1-5 is completed, get a restraining order from the court, prohibiting him from getting anywhere near her or her family.
i doubt very much if GZ would be stopped by a restraining order. He is psycho.
Deletegood advice for Shellie Z. or anyone else to break free of an abusive relationship with an unstable coward
DeleteShe may also require fumigation and delousing to rid her of his stench and vermination.
DeleteA piece of paper will not stop Zimmerman, he has no impulse control.
DeleteI have little sympathy for Shellie, she lied in court to protect a murderer.
Ideally, Zimmerman goes to prison for murder. Trayvon, Shellie, his in-laws... it will happen, just wait for it.
Do a search on "women murdered with restraining order" to see why some women are afraid to get a restraining order.
DeleteDo a search for Lorena Bobbitt and see why her husband John didn't chase after her to try to harm her after she left her his dickless torso behind to make his own damn breakfast one morning.
DeleteThen he spent most of the morning walking up and down the road looking for what was left of his manhood.
Reminds me of the Southpark episode where Mr Garrison's penis was running around town scaring everyone after it was removed during his sex change operation. Season 12 Episode 5.
Zimmerman is a dangerous person, tipped over the edge by the paranoia he must be living with since he got away with murder.
ReplyDeleteBut his wife is a convicted perjorer, and can use his own criminality to bolster her credibility.
So, I'm staying out of this one.
:)
This is ALL OVER the place now. Really interesting looking at the comments for the various outlets. The ones on the link listed in Gryphen's post are split supportive for Georgie Boy. but then, it is Florida after all.
ReplyDelete"Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson said police are "trying to determine what exactly happened."
ReplyDelete-------------------------
It is not that difficult. What happened is exactly what anyone with any brains or sense predicted would happen.
Not surprised at all by the latest news but I was amazed that, during his trial, Zimmerman's history of anger issues with everyone including the police did not come up but all sorts of things were alleged about the victim. I think some folks confused who was the victim and who was the perpetrator - on purpose.
ReplyDeleteBeaglemom
Beaglemom... you are right!
DeleteI'm with you Beaglemom!! What's more the asshats were able to convince the other asshats in their audience that 17 year old Trayvon was a vicious thug who 'beat poor pudgie Georgie within an inch of his life'. His brother Robert started that tall tale on Piers Morgan in the early days and it stuck.
DeleteWhy anyone can so easily believe this crud without a wisp of injury evidence on GZ is more than mind boggling. This was the scenario they wanted and it's the only one they would accept. I'm waiting for them to claim the 'beating' gave him brain damage and that's why he acts like such a freakin' idiot.
Those eyes of his look like he might be the victim of fetal alcohol syndrome but it still wouldn't absolve him of the lifetime of bad behavior he has accumulated. Wish more of those cousins would come forward to discuss the molestations they suffered at his hands during their formative years. Disgusting pig is the kindest thing I can say about GZ.
never seen a setup in a divorce? she is already a known perjurer. last report i saw, zimmerman was released, and the estranged wife and father in law declined to press charges. apparently also she had yet to give a sworn statement to the police, but had been talking to her lawyer on the phone. but you just go ahead and keep jumping to conclusions beagle.
Delete1:40, a broken nose and other head lacerations do not count as 'a wisp of injury evidence'?
Delete3:00 PM
DeleteThere was no broken nose. There is a picture of a bloody nose but that's it. The "head lacerations" were little more than pinpricks, not requiring any sutures. Little Band-Aids sufficed. The blood flow (and even tiny scalp wounds bleed profusely) from them was toward Zimmerman's face. How does that happen if you are lying on your back? There was no bruising anywhere (either on his scalp or around his eyes). How do you get a broken nose and not have bruising. How can your head be bashed into concrete and you suffer no bruising to your scalp? Trayvon had no injuries to his hands. Folks like you are either just plain dumb or completely ignorant (or both).
Zimmerman was diagnosed with a closed fracture of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury.
DeleteZimmerman may have inflicted wounds on himself after the fact, but video from the police station the night he assassinated Martin show a man with no bruises, no fractures, no bleeding. In other words, no injuries.
DeleteWow, the 911 call is bad! And those 911 calls are considered "an excited utterance" when used in court. They are powerful evidence. Also this isn't a he said/she said. Bye Bye Georgie Porgie, I hope you have fun in the pokie.
ReplyDeleteShe's refused to press charges. WTF.
DeleteThat phone call should be all that's needed for the police to press charges.
12:56 and 2:01 are you really that dumb?
Deletebecause she called 911 and played pretend scared they should press charges? apparently there is video security and zimmerman offered to give it to the police... also the ex and her dad declined to press charges. the police act on reality not your fantasies. never seen an ugly divorce and a spitefull woman before?
@2:24
DeleteI have seen ugly divorces and murderous men, too.
Lookie here folks, we have a genuine honest to goodness Zimmerman fan boy at 2:24.
Delete2:53- hardly a zimmerman fan boy.
Deletefrankly it seems to me that this whole unfortunate situation is filled with losers, families included. it is awful that a 17 year old is dead. but the ugly facts are what they are, evidence shows martin attacked zimmerman.
Anonymous 3:14 aka Zimmy butt-boy: Zimmerman was ordered to stay in his truck. Zimmy-boy left his truck and attacked Martin. No matter if you like the facts or not, that's what happened.
DeleteZimmerman has not only been released from custody and his wife and father-in-law refused to file charges, he's also got his gun back.
DeleteIt's like the cops are telling little Georgie, "it's OK, your dad pulled your fat ass out of the fire again."
@3:15
DeleteYou are confused. The trial verdict was that there was not enough evidence to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that zimmerman was guilty of murder or manslaughter. The jury was never asked to decide if Martin attacked.
There will never be a trial or a verdict on whether Martin attacked. However, it seems quite likely that at some point in the future Zimmerman will face a jury again. With luck the prosecution will be competent, and Zimmerman will lose the smirk.
Lizzie Borden also got off on a murder charge. The poem "Lizzie Borden gave her mother 40 whacks..." reminds us that although a jury might not convict, a murderer's deeds are not forgotten or forgiven. Zimmerman's defenders can't hold back the tide of general loathing and you certainly aren't capable of it.
Yes, because the only explanation is a spiteful woman, right?
Deletewell so far it seems all the 'expert' opinions regarding this case at the IM blog have not really panned out in reality, or agreed with the court verdict based on the evidence, which actually are the facts, so good luck with with your imaginations 4:21.
Delete@6:10
DeleteThe court verdict was that Zimmerman was not guilty of murder or manslaughter. But it is true that a lot of imagination is required to leap from that court verdict to saying Zimmerman acted in self-defense and that the jury believed that. Especially because the jury was never asked whether they believed the self-defense argument.
The court verdict does NOT say self-defense was reality. And that fact is not going to change no matter how badly you want it to.
this is for you 7:01
Deletereview the judges instructions to the jury:
http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/07/12/201410108/read-instructions-for-the-jury-in-trial-of-george-zimmerman
2 choices for a not guilty verdict as instructed by the judge... accidental or self defense- thats the way it is in the eyes of the court.
@8:28
DeleteThe jury did not say self-defense. The jury said the prosecution did not prove the charges.
You will never be able to say that the jury said more than that. Because they didn't.
You can not change reality. The judge's instructions are not what the jury said. The jury said (wait for it)
the prosecution did not prove the charges.
She reminds me of Bristol and Willow....uneducated, self-indulgent, over-weight.
ReplyDeleteThe only difference is that Bristol, instead of being satisfied with dogs, went and got herself a little toy baby to take care of.
The same ignorant, self-satisfied, gun-loving morons.
shocking...
ReplyDeleteListen To Dramatic Audio From Shellie Zimmerman's 911 Call
ReplyDeletehttp://www.businessinsider.com/shellie-zimmermans-911-call-to-police-2013-9
911 Call: George Zimmerman Tried To Use Stand Your Ground While Threatening His Wife
Delete...She told the dispatcher, “He’s here continually trying to shut the garage door on me. He’s in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun, and he keeps saying ‘step closer’ and he’s just threatening all of us with his firearm.”
The dispatcher asked, “Step closer and what?”
Shellie explained, “And he’s gonna shoot us. He punched my dad in the nose, my dad has a mark on his face, I saw his glasses on the floor. He then accosted my father then took my iPad out of my hands. He then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife, and there is a Lake Mary city worker across the street that I believe saw all of it.”
“He just showed up here but my phone died so I had to call you back… I don’t know what he’s capable of. I’m really, really scared.”
The dispatcher tells her that the police are on their way.
When they arrive, Shellie tells the dispacther, “They (the police) are telling his body guard to get out of the way.”
Apparently George Zimmerman takes guard/guards with him everywhere he goes — after all, when you are a sociopath, you require protection from the many people whose lives you’ve ruined.
http://www.politicususa.com/2013/09/09/911-call-george-zimmerman-stand-ground-threatening-wife.html
The cops said they didn't find a gun on Zimmerman. Now who believes that?
ReplyDeleteGeorge wouldn't leave the house without his penis substitute. They released the asshole—but its just a matter of time before Karma gets him. The cops in Florida are invested in keeping this idiot running the streets or they'll look like idiots.
What was he going to do, shoot her and then claim that he was standing his ground? How many times are we supposed to give this guy a pass?
ReplyDeleteI think that it's time for Trayvon Martin's family to sue George Zimmerman for wrongful death, just like the second OJ trial. The burden of proof is different. The defendant has to testify. And, hurry up, before he hides all of his assets and his wife takes the rest in the divorce.
ReplyDeletethis is hardly 'just like' the civil oj trial.
Deleteoj claimed to have nothing to do with nicole and ron's deaths. he was found liable for the wrongful deaths and battery.
in this situation, zimmerman fully acknowledged shooting martin in self defense resulting in martins death. the jury agreed and he was aquitted. frankly- as he acted in self defense and the courts agreed, there is not much ground to stand on. zimmerman in fact, could easily sue the martins (as well as other entities that dropped the ball on martin) for his damages, the evidence and court verdicts are already on his side.
@2:10
DeleteIf Zimmerman stayed in his car as he was told to do, he could not shoot Martin. Self-defense is a fantasy in your mind.
2:47- self defense is the reality of the jury verdict.
DeleteThe jury said the charges were not proved. The jury did NOT say anything about self-defense. That's reality.
DeleteYou can imagine that the jury said it was self-defense all you want, it will never be true.
4:24, exactly how else does one get acquitted of murder charges, when there is no dispute they shot someone, if self defense is not part of the consideration? its not like they said the bullet came from outer space- self defense was the defense argument, that is why he was acquitted.
Delete@6:20
DeleteThere's tons of ways to get acquitted of all kinds of charges. But the fact is that the jury did NOT say self-defense in the Zimmerman case. The jury said the prosecution did not prove the case. You can fantasize that the jury based their decision on self-defense but it doesn't make it true. You can fantasize that the jury believed the defense attorneys but it doesn't make it true.
Yes, self-defense was an argument. But just give up on telling us what the jury thought about that argument. For all we know, the jurors might have just been thinking about the quickest way to get out of the damn jury room.
You think the self-defense argument is a good one. Fine, think that. But the jury did NOT say that.
(And you should re-read 6:20 carefully, because it would not pass the first test in logic 101.)
@6:20
DeleteYou think the only reason for acquittal is that the jury believed the defense argument? Seriously, in Florida, death of a black teenager, the only possible reason for acquittal is the strength of the defense? Now that's an idea straight from outer space.
ok 6:50.
Deletethe judge, the jury, the entire courtroom, the defense team, the prosecution, the entire world, all clearly understood that george zimmerman shot and killed travon martin. undisputed.
also undisputed was the fact that zimmerman was charges with 2nd degree murder by the special prosecutor (who decided to bypass a grand jury investigation, knowing they wouldn't charge him, which btw- could possibly be considered a civil rights violation in favor of zimmerman).
you tell me, why was he found not guilty by the jury?
btw 650 you are welcome to review the judges instructions to the jury:
Deletehttp://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/07/12/201410108/read-instructions-for-the-jury-in-trial-of-george-zimmerman
for a not guilty verdict- there is either justifiable homicide (ie self defense), or excusable homicide (basically accidental). there is the 2 choices for the not guilty verdict. never did the defense claim this was an accident.
@6:50
DeleteThe jury said that the prosecution did not prove the charges. It's really quite simple.
2:10 said "zimmerman fully acknowledged shooting martin in self defense resulting in martins death. the jury agreed and he was aquitted."
DeleteYou can not say the jury agreed with self-defense, because the jury never said they agreed. Saying the jury agreed is not true. The jury said not guilty. That is not the same as agreeing it was self-defense. Saying not guilty is not the same as saying we agree with the defense version of events.
There are many reasons why a jury can say not guilty. It is not a given that the jury agreed with the defense. If you want to say "I THINK the jury agreed with the defense" that's fine. That is an opinion, but it is not fact.
George Zimmerman's estranged wife called Florida police a little after 2 p.m. Monday, saying he had assaulted her father and that he was threatening her, police have confirmed to Business Insider.
ReplyDeleteZimmerman — who was acquitted in a widely watched murder trial in July — had a gun when authorities were called Monday, police told Business Insider.
After placing a dramatic 911 call, however, Shellie and her father have both signed papers saying they don't want George prosecuted, the Orlando Sentinel's Jeff Weiner has tweeted.
George told police that Shellie and her father were the aggressors, Weiner tweeted.
Shellie called police around 2 p.m. on Monday, telling a 911 operator, "I'm really, really afraid. I don't know what he's capable of. I'm really, really scared."
http://www.businessinsider.com/george-zimmerman-reportedly-in-custody-over-gun-incident-2013-9
How can the wife and her parents be the aggressors when it was George to went to their house with his substitute penis (that would be the gun).
DeleteThis man is out of control and he just might kill someone.
Because nothing is ever George's fault. I;m sure Shellie called him a name, or her daddy asked him to leave..you know, just like a kid walking home innocently is sudden;y 'threatening George's life.' The guy has gotten away with murder once...he'll try again.
DeleteWait a second - he's at her or her parents house? , They are in divorce proceedings? ANY attorney will tell you no contact unless kids are involved - then make it a neutral place to hand off custody/visitation.
DeleteLots of updates:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.mediaite.com/online/george-zimmerman-reportedly-in-custody-for-gun-related-incident/
Ditto. Not surprised at all. In fact, all those horrid commenters on Fox who made such nasty comments about Trayvon Martin, are now seeing the tide turn. That female juror who believe Zimmerman's story and all the rest who supported him will never admit they were wrong. They'll still want to believe that an unarmed boy attacked him for no apparent reason.
ReplyDeleteHow many victims have to come forward before people start to see this guy is a danger.
Hopefully George will be convicted of a felony and then he will not be able to possess a gun for the rest of his days. And just maybe he will have to serve time as well. I don't think they allow bodyguards to accompany you to prison, so the big man will be on his own.
ReplyDeletePossibly there is justice in this world.
This guy is a creep! He's going to kill someone or end up dead himself. What an ass!
ReplyDeleteShelley needs to stay away from him and get the divorce ASAP.
I'm shocked!!! Well, not really. I'm shocked it took this long though.
ReplyDeleteGryphen----just read that Shellie & her father refused to press charges!!!!
ReplyDeletewell, I hope they have bullet proof vest, cause Georgy will never give up his guns, and will never stop being a bully. He has the mental capacity of a 12 year old.
DeleteThere is enough that the DA can do it? Shellie and Pops don't need to give crazy Georgie anymore reason to hate on them.
DeleteI'm hearing they were following attorney's advice and filming everything. He broke her I-pad. It will be interesting to see what all comes out in the wash.
I think this whole divorce thing is a sham. Shelly announces she is divorcing George, then this 911 call. I think what they are doing file for divorce, make George out to be an abusive hubby so she can get most of his money, then when all is done they just shack up and Trayvons parents can't go after George cuz all the assets are in Shellys name.
ReplyDeleteAll his money? He has money?
DeleteRemember she lied about their assets.
DeleteStand your ground again, George
ReplyDeleteYou are a true American hero
To be fair, she was wearing a hoodie and carrying a bag of Skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea...
ReplyDeletePoor, Poor, Poor Shellie! She's in her parent's home, and the murderer she lied for in court punches her dad in the face, breaks and stabs her ipad with a knife, while playing with his gun and threatening her!
ReplyDeleteShe's shitting her pants on the phone with 911, the cops get there and say there's "no gun"? (What's wrong with this picture?)
She and her dad don't want to press charges?
I have a feeling she's in cahoots with Georgie "Waddles" Zimmerman AND the cops. Get his assets put in her name, stay divorced in name only, and the Martins won't get a dime in the civil trial.
She lied in court to the judge about their assets, I just find it hard to believe she's not pressing charges.
It's only a matter of a short time and Zimmerman is going to cross paths with one or more other well armed Floridians exercising their "stand your ground" rights too.
ReplyDeletePalin/Zimmerman 2016. Because neither of them are in prison yet.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I don't really care about his wife or his parents. They knew him and knew they allowed him to get away with murdering a person for no reason. They can live or die with the consequences.
ReplyDeleteI would like to know why his lawyer was there and how many cases do the police keep a suspect there, at the scene for 2 hours? Then no charges, I don't for a second trust Shelly. But, he came to her parents house and she said he was threating them and hit her father in the face. What other domestic do they do this/ Usually one or both would be arrested if they saw any kind of red mark. How many passes does a son of a judge get?????
ReplyDelete
