Let's try that whole singing to the crying baby thing again.
Since so many of you did not like yesterday's video of a mother singing to her crying baby, I thought I would try it again. This time it is both parents, and I think you will enjoy the outcome much better.
A lovely video that would be even more so if it had started at the 30 sec. mark and had eliminated all that unnecessary and annoying chatter at the beginning. Much better than yesterday's singing to baby video, though.
Much like the tone in our voices can tell a listener what our emotions might be, the tone of this song was much more soothing and lullaby-like. You can tell by the baby's reaction.
I agree with others that with the other post the mother upset the baby with what probably looked like her being in distress while singing a moody sad song, and the poor little baby was upset at his mother being upset. What a nincompoop!
These parents are so wonderfully caring and loving, and trying to soothe and calm the baby.
On a side note, I've NEVER seen a picture of Sarah looking lovingly at any of her kids the way these 2 parents are looking at their baby.
You're right with this one. When I see these clips, I kind of miss having infants in the house, but it passes quickly. Can't wait to be a grandmother, well I can wait until they're out of college and married.
It’s that beautiful baritone (?) the father has. Yesterday’s child seemed afraid his mother was in pain.
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly how I felt about the baby in tears yesterday. It just made me sad.
DeleteOnly one word can describe today's video...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely voices. We should all sing more, even if we aren't so talented.

ReplyDeleteThe difference here is that their ( lovely!) singing is calming the baby, not upsetting the baby.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is how it's done! What a wonderful couple, and a lucky little girl.
ReplyDeleteI liked yesterday's baby's emotional range. I prefer today's song.
ReplyDeleteAnother cute video using that same song. Sshhh...
