New York attorney challenges Mark Begich in Democratic primary, but refuses to move to Alaska unless he wins.

Seriously?
Courtesy of KTUU:

A New York attorney plans to run against Alaska Sen. Mark Begich in next year's Democratic primary, without leaving home.

William "Bill" Bryk tells the Anchorage Daily News he wants Begich to have some competition. The state Democratic party has endorsed Begich, and no other Democrats have filed to run.

Bryk says if he won the primary, he would have to be an Alaska resident on Election Day, which he said is how the U.S. Supreme Court has interpreted the U.S. constitution on the issue of residency.

The constitution requires that to be a senator, a person must be at least 30 years old, a U.S. citizen for at least nine years and "when elected," an inhabitant of the state for which he was chosen.

I don't think this guy really needs to worry about packing his things and moving up north, there is NO WAY Alaskans are going to vote for some slick Eastern lawyer who is too much of a pussy to live in our great state.

I have said it once, but I will say it again, if you do not shovel the same snow that we do to get out of our driveways, or drive on the same icy roads that we do to get to our jobs, or pay three times the cost of those in the lower forty eight for goods and services like we do, then you aren't going to get elected hall monitor up here.

And speaking of that, I recently saw the Vaguely Bearded One on Fox talking about how HE was going to run against Begich and how he hoped to get Sarah Palin's endorsement.

So that makes two challengers to Senator Begich who don't stand a snowball's chance in hell.

There's already a DC lawyer running: Dan Sullivan. He's currently living in Alaska but obviously he wants to get back to DC.

    2. Where on Earth did you guys ever come up with Begich? All I read about him is he is a lousy Democrat. Is this all you got?
Kind of like going on a fishing trip only to discover you forgot the pole.
      OR
Driving five miles to the store only to forget what you went for.
      Just say'n

Yeah, he kind of sucks as a democrat and will probably suck even more in the next year so he can keep his job in red Alaska.

DC Sullivan won't get my vote in Alaska just because he is nothing more than a carpetbagger. Plus, he is Republican and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him!!

While I think the lawyer is dead wrong,so are you.If you have never lived in an area of New York that gets "Lake Effect" snow, you have no idea what snow in New York is like. My winter in Oneida,NY we got 212 inches of snow, ice cicles as big around as a man from the 2nd floor eves to the ground, lots of negative 0 wind chill days. Our water was frozen for 1 full month when we moved from an apartment to a house in December. Walking my dog was nice as the snow plows left a 12 foot high wall of frozen snow that blocked the wind, but my poor little dog would get his hair on his hind feet frozen to the hair on the front feet while walking.

My husband worked at the local casino, they have a snow machine parking lot.People cross country skied to the bank , my neighbors across the street hired a real sleigh with horses to bring people from their homes to their Christmas party.

      Nice Try.

William Bryk is a bankruptcy atty in Brooklyn, NY. What "lake" is Brooklyn near that produces that much snow?
Oneida sounds like a lovely place,, New York State IS huge, but this post is about a smarmy Brooklyn bankruptcy lawyer/ politician who has tried this a few times before.

will rush be forced to apologize to ALL women?
    from huffpo:

where the fuck is the outrage from the skank over what rush said today? throwing rape around like a lunatic!!!!!!
    from huffpo:

"Every now and then, some lunatic in the group proposes to change the rule to allow women to be raped. But they never were able to get six votes for it. There were always the four women voting against it and they always found two guys.Well, the guy that kept proposing that women be raped finally got tired of it, and he was in the majority and he was one that [said], 'You know what? We're going to change the rule. Now all we need is five." And well, 'you can't do that.' 'Yes we are. We're the majority. We're changing the rule.' And then they vote. Can the women be raped? Well, all it would take then is half of the room. You can change the rule to say three. You can change the rule to say three people want it, it's going to happen."

Rush Limbaugh is a misogynistic, Viagra popping OxyContin addict who has never gotten over any and all rejections he received from women in high school and his one semester in college. He knows he only attracts certain women now because he has $$. It makes him bitter and hateful towards all women.

Hey "Willie" Bill Bryk, this isn't a cushy Fox news job you can "Phone in", it's the real deal. The problem with this guy is he's lazy and has no clue that to survive in Alaska politics and life, you gotta pull your own weight and walk the walk.
Good luck, vaguely bearded one. A Palin endorsement is about half as popular as Congress. What's in it for her?

Is that legal within the State of Alaska? What bullshit, if it is. Sen. Begich would have my vote mainly due to the fact the Koch brothers are funding the ads being run against the senator in Alaska! The Rachel Maddow show covered their connection to Alaska and Begich on one of her recent shows.

$$$ from outside the State of Alaska are going into the state (oil money too!) against Sen. Begich.

I hope Alaskans are paying attention, but remember, they are the ones that voted 'quitter' Palin to 'play' governor for a short time!
