ReplyDeleteNot exactly correct though: I have seen and heard of groups of Pagans who still revere those old Greek gods.

True. there are neo pagans who revere the Greek Gods. In Italy, especially near Rome, they revere "household gods". Their Christmas Tradition also has a witch (stregga) who delivers goodies to the kids instead of St Nick. The Catholic Church, for some reason I don't understand turns a blind eye.
DeleteI like the idea, but I don't think the people who need it most will get the meaning.
