Former head of the South Carolina Republican's hatred of Wendy Davis has to be seen to be believed.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Former head of the South Carolina Republican Party, Tea Party activist Todd Kincannon has unleashed a vile parade of hateful, sexist insults aimed at Texas Democratic state Sen. Wendy Davis. According to Americans Against the Tea Party, the attacks began earlier this week and have only gotten uglier.

Kincannon has enlarged upon early Republican attacks on Davis, insinuating that because she supports a woman’s right to choose, she must be a promiscuous, man-eating tramp. Calling her a “coke whore” and insinuating that she cheated on her then-husband, Kincannon wrote, at one point, “I don’t care if folks attack Wendy Davis unfairly. I just want her attacked.”

He has tweeted, variously:

- I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who was as much of a whore as Wendy Davis. And I’ve met some epic whores in my travels.
- I suspect Texas voters care that Wendy Davis was potentially going to Harvard coke parties instead of caring for her children.
- Make Wendy Davis worry that somebody will dig up a Harvard classmate that she did coke with. Torture her until she begs for it to stop.
 - Wendy Davis has an abortion fetish and did in fact abandon her children.
- Make Wendy Davis wish she’d never been born. #InsertAbortionJokeHere

The fusillade of misogynist filth has gone on for days, now, with Kincannon furiously unloading on people defending Davis as well as fellow conservatives begging him not to further damage the party’s image.

“Lick my taint,” he angrily told one female critic.

Holy crap this guy is a pig!

I took a stroll through this guy's Twitter account looking for that tweet I embedded above, and after only a few minutes of being exposed to that vile racism, sexism, and partisan hatred I did not think a shower would suffice to remove the stench of ignorance and intolerance that permeates that section of the internet.

The guy literally tweets like a hundred times a day, and attacks EVERYBODY who attempts to engage him in conversation or correct his misstatements.

If Davis drives these people THIS crazy then 2014 is going to be one hell of a ride!

Single fathers should be praising Wendy Davis for agreeing with her former husband on who should be the custodial parent on the basis on what would be best for the children. She paid him child support. How many men do you hear complain about how courts always grant the woman custody of the children even when the men who are complaining, that they would be the better caretaker of the children.

Wendy supported FATHERS' rights, not shirking off her parenting responsibility.

Every kid does better with two parents, married or divorced doing what they want to do. Every kid does better with two educated parents. Every kid does better with more money in the family bank.

      J. Todd Kincannon, Esq., (born June 12, 1981) is the Chairman of the Simpsonville, South Carolina Election Commission of Simpsonville, South Carolina. He currently resides in Simpsonville. Kincannon earned a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007, where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, the Order of the Barristers, and the Moot Court. He also won a variety of appellate advocacy awards during his tenure in law school.

Prior to law school, Kincannon completed graduate work in the fields of nanotechnology and analytical chemistry at Clemson University.[citation needed] Kincannon also holds a B.S. degree with a triple major in chemistry, physics, and mathematics from Erskine College[citation needed] and an A.S. degree from Greenville Technical College in science.[citation needed]

Kincannon has been involved in a variety of high-profile election protests[1][2] in South Carolina, several of which have been appealed to the South Carolina Supreme Court. The most notable of these is Gecy v. Bagwell, 642 S.E.2d 569 (S.C. 2007),[3][4] a protest trial Kincannon presided over. This case was argued before the South Carolina Supreme Court, which unanimously affirmed Kincannon's opinion and order.[5] Another notable election protest involving Kincannon was Horton v. Elliott,[6][7] where Kincannon was qualified as an expert witness with respect to election practices and procedures. In Horton v. Elliott, Kincannon offered extensive expert testimony as to the requirements of the Voting Rights Act and the standards for overturning elections in South Carolina.[8]

Kincannon is a nationally noted parliamentarian[9] and a member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians and the National Association of Parliamentarians. Also of note, the J. Todd Kincannon Awards are given in Kincannon's honor at his alma mater of Erskine College. These awards are given to students in a variety of courses of study based on academic achievement and character.[10][11]

According to his LinkedIn profile,[12] Kincannon was involved in the South Carolina Republican Party as a parliamentarian and general counsel from 2004 to 2010, culminating in service as executive director, a position which he resigned after three months.[13]

A number of media outlets detailed a range of inflammatory messages he posted to his Twitter account[14] in 2013, which include saying that transgendered people should be placed in a concentration-style camp.[13][15][16] His Twitter account was suspended in late 2013

The Most Judged Woman in America

Wendy Davis did make a mistake. She thought that we were ready for a single mother.

...The kerfuffle began last weekend, with the publication of a profile in the Dallas Morning News that filled out gaps in her story, and continued all week as Davis was spun by her critics as a social climber, an ingrate, a neglectful mother. She has been chastised for starting out in her marriage as a dependent (golddigger!), and finishing it as a lawyer so financially successful that she was the one paying child support to her ex-husband (careerist harpy!). While this professional and relational arc is seen by some as deviant and unattractive, I’ll tell you what strikes me, reading her life story: how common it is. Countless women of Davis’s generation—she was born in 1963—grew up expecting one kind of marriage and then found themselves living another. Countless women started out in marriages where they were the junior partner, then at some point—to their own surprise as much as anybody’s—pulled ahead. In that way, Wendy Davis’s life is ordinary, but it’s something we haven’t come to terms with as a culture.

While some of the details have yet to fully emerge, most versions of her life seem to agree on this: Davis’s parents split when she was little. Life was tough; by age 14 she was working to help her mom, who has the wonderfully Dickensian name of Ginger Cornstubble, and her siblings. At 17 she moved in with her boyfriend, then married and had a daughter; that marriage soon ended and for a time she and her daughter continued to live in the trailer where the family had formerly resided together. According to the Morning News, Davis worked as a receptionist in a pediatrician’s office, attended community college and waitressed in her dad’s Fort Worth dinner theater—presumably learning, like many women, that the wage scale of the pink-collar professions was established back in the day when a woman’s income was intended to supplement that of a breadwinning husband, and has not been adjusted upward. During this time she met and took a liking to Jeff Davis, a lawyer who was 13 years older; they dated, married, had a daughter of their own.

With the support of Jeff Davis, who comes across in his comments as good-natured and generous, Wendy Davis was able to find her way into a life more materially comfortable and expansive. But it wasn’t a coddled, Real-Housewives-type existence of fluffy dogs and spa days. Instead, she went on to Texas Christian University, where she had financial aid and scholarships, did well, and from there to Harvard Law School. Jeff Davis reportedly paid for his wife’s last two years in college, cashed in his 401(k) to send her to law school, was the primary caregiver while she was away studying and took out a loan so she could finish. In a statement, Wendy Davis confirmed that he cashed in the retirement fund, but says “they” took out loans and that the children lived with her during her first year at Harvard, after which she commuted back and forth and her mom helped watch the girls. Though no phrase existed for what Wendy Davis was doing at the time, now we have one: She was leaning in.

So sexist and disgusting the way they are portraying her. If a man had left his wife and kids to go to Harvard, there wouldn't be BOO said about it.

Also, when people are married, their finances are intertwined…if one takes out a loan, they both do. His money is her money. There are millions of men whose wives put them through medical school or law school…are they considered whores, too? No, they're celebrated.

John McCain wouldn't have had a political career if it weren't for the fact that he married a woman with a lot of money and connections. Guess he's a whore, too...

Inside The World Of Anti-Abortion Activists Who Were Conceived In Rape And Incest

...Kiessling is perhaps the most famous conceived-by-rape speaker. She was conceived in 1968, before Roe v. Wade. Still, she says she was "targeted for abortion," and that her biological mother almost aborted her twice in dangerous, illegal situations. Despite, or rather, because of her mother's experience, Kiessling does not think abortion should be legal under any circumstances. About 20 percent of the American population agrees with her. On her website, she tells her story:

I was adopted nearly from birth. At 18, I learned that I was conceived out of a brutal rape at knife-point by a serial rapist. Like most people, I'd never considered that abortion applied to my life, but once I received this information, all of a sudden I realized that, not only does it apply to my life, but it has to do with my very existence. It was as if I could hear the echoes of all those people who, with the most sympathetic of tones, would say, “Well, except in cases of rape. . . ," or who would rather fervently exclaim in disgust: “Especially in cases of rape!!!” All these people are out there who don‘t even know me, but are standing in judgment of my life, so quick to dismiss it just because of how I was conceived. I felt like I was now going to have to justify my own existence, that I would have to prove myself to the world that I shouldn’t have been aborted and that I was worthy of living.

Kiessling is not alone. Abstinence educator Pam Stenzel (Catholic high school students may remember her from her truly frightening sex-ed videos) was also conceived by rape before Roe v. Wade. Her bio:

In 1964, a fifteen year old girl was raped, became pregnant, and decided to carry her unborn child to term. Five months after the baby girl was born, in an act of courage and love the young mother provided her child a better environment by giving her to an adoptive family. That child was Pam Stenzel.

Stenzel repeats Kiessling's plea in the "Conceived in Rape Trailer" below: "I did not deserve the death penalty for the crimes of my father." The video features the testimonials of Stenzel, Kiessling, and other women conveived by rape.

I think it is the woman's choice as to obtaining abortions due to rape or incest. I, being familiar, with the latter, would have had an abortion immediately had I ever gotten pregnant. I would have had it done in a heartbeat!

Those women are fine because they were able to be adopted. As the GOP rewrites law, the rapists are now having to give permission for adoption and abortion. How would these women feel if their mothers had had to keep them to satisfy their criminal fathers? What if Daddy had gotten out and decided to rape them too? I appreciate their viewpoints, but the GOP is making it really hard to even consider carrying a rapists' child, as the woman will be a victim for life in these states, as will the child.

And as dor the talk of her "abandoning" her children, one was grown and out of the house and one was on the waay to their senior yr in HS.
I guess they don't think woman should get educations, but come on,
an acceptance into Harvard involves a move, it's not like she was going to "hair" school or "skin" school and decided to move across the country instead of driving into Anchorage from Wasilla.
BTW the more they call Wendy a whore, then they also call Bristol Palin a whore for getting knocked up young.

If you want to "comment" on Wendy's campaign a donation would be a good way to speak. Greg Abbot, Perry's henchman is running scared, I guess they didn't think an intelligent woman could have a chance in a state with one of the highest percentages of single Moms.

Painting Wendy Davis as a bad mother is political sexism at its worst

...The problem is that the Dallas Morning News article that caused this backlash is questionable at best, and is undeniably sexist in its telling of Davis’ story. Slater implies that Davis was a negligent mother in order to pursue her education and political career, and that she used her husband for his money. He quotes an “anonymous source” that claims that “Wendy [Davis] is tremendously ambitious. She’s not going to let family or raising children or anything else to get in her way.”

The “blurred facts”, according to Slater, were that Davis says she divorced at 19, when in fact she had only separated from his first husband at 19, with the divorce being finalized when she was 21. Slater says that Davis overstates her time living as a single mother in a trailer, explaining that “she lived only a few months in a family mobile home while separated from her husband before moving into an apartment”.

...On Monday, two days after Slater’s piece ran, Davis released an open letter in which she said that “our opponents have gotten more and more desperate” and are now stooping “to a new low by attacking my family, my education, and my personal story”. She says that her story of “resiliency, and sacrifice, and perseverance. And you’re damn right it’s a true story.”

Damn right. As a woman, a mother, and a person whose partner has helped me financially to secure a good education, I am disappointed in seeing the first female democratic candidate for Texas governor in a long while – a woman who came to international fame for fighting for access to full, comprehensive reproductive healthcare – being painted as a poor mother or a money-grubbing schemer.

Plus they hate all women, except the ones who sleep in their beds and look nice at the events.
