Newly released video of police interview with Zimmerman's girlfriend suggests that despite her recantation she was telling the truth about his threats.

Courtesy of Crooks and Liars:

After a domestic dispute and call to 911 in November, George Zimmerman's girlfriend told police officers that he had threatened her with a shotgun. The allegations echoed those of Zimmerman's ex-wife following his acquittal on charges of murdering unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, and seemed to signal a pattern of uncontrolled violence.

"I feel like he always gets off," pregnant 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe told a police investigator after her boyfriend, George Zimmerman, pointed a shotgun at her and smashed her belongings. Scheibe was right, again.

Scheibe later recanted, saying in a sworn statement that she was "intimidated" during police questioning and believed investigators had "misinterpreted" her words.

A recently released video of Scheibe's police interview leaked online by ZimmermanVerdict.net, not only casts doubt on her disavowal, it also adds credibility and disturbing violent new details to Scheibe's original account.

Okay I listened to the entire video and if she was lying, or exaggerating, she sure fooled me.

So if she was telling the truth to the police, what made her take it all back later?

And what in the hell would convince her to go back to him?

Gryphen, they are only 2 degrees removed from the griftiness of the Palin family. I say F them and call it a day. It is so sad we give them time out of our days.

You shouldn't waste your time. She is a scam artist and all you fools caught in the false George Zimmerman narrative are falling for it. Suggestion- read some outside news sources rather than one-sided blogs.

"And what in the hell would convince her to go back to him?"

I would bet it's called "Battered Woman Syndrome".

I only hope she comes to her senses enough to run like hell and protect herself AND the baby. SOON!

On average victims of domestic violence make 7-8 attempts to leave before they are successful.

Game of Life? What makes you think I was joking? just because a woman isn't actually HIT doesn't mean she doesn't suffer from it!

Abuse is abuse and mental abuse is even more insidious because there is no physical evidence - normally.

Warning! Rand Paul is Coming to a State Near You In His Push for the Presidency

...It is interesting that there is already a campaign website and slogan, “Stand with Rand.” For a guy who remains coquettish about his future aspirations. In order to get millions of names to hit up for contributions and votes, Paul is asking visitors to the site to add their names to his as he prepares to mount a phony class-action lawsuit against the National Security Agency for phone and email intrusions.

...Ironically, Paul asks supporters of the proposed lawsuit to provide their email addresses. “Give me your email address so I can sue the government for having your email address.” Note that Paul is already hitting signers up for donations to support the lawsuit. I wonder if any of that money will end up in a certain campaign coffer.

She's displaying the symptoms of a classic domestic abuse victim. By recanting her story, she's hoping to avoid being killed by her abuser.

I don't take domestic violence lightly. I'm aware of the stockholme syndrome, and Battered Women Syndrome. BUT. Given this guy's track record (Killing an innocent boy armed with skittles and iced tea, attacking his pregnant ex wife who dropped the charges and was happy to walk away with her broken ipad, and now a pregnant girlfriend who obviously has just cause is letting him off the hook.

Prior behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. Ladies, you can't change them, you can't love the hate away, and you can't have it both ways. An order of protection isn't worth the paper it's written on. Having a gun makes you no more or no less safe.

Notice she wanted to get to her purse because she thought her pistol was in it? Then she gains access to the room and her purse isn't there. She's a good guy with a gun and has no clue where it is. He's a bad guy with a gun, and her glass coffee table got the worst of it. She got lucky this time.

What drives a woman, especially with children and one on the way, to put up with a widdle boy with a toy and anger issues like George? He's not handsome, he's not buff, he has no personality. I just don't see what they find "attractive".

It's not that they find him attractive and seek him out. It's that abusers select women who are basically insecure and groom them to be abuse victims. A woman who is leaving an abuser is at very high risk- that's when the abuser goes ballistic. If she has children/pets/anything she cares about, he will use it to force her to return. Incidentally, they can be very good at only punching her where it won't show. He's going to kill again. The only question is when. Personally, I think within 5 years of his acquittal, and most likely within the first two.

Samantha Schiebe is 27 years old and has a high school education. She has a 10 year old daughter. Recently, in an interview with a reporter called Eric Sandoval, Channel 6, FL, she stated that George Zimmerman sent a sex tape of her and himself to her 10 year old daughter.

She is thoroughly intimidated by George and went back to him to protect her daughter and to stop the threats. He continuously threatens to hurt the little girl who lives with Sam's mother currently.

His wife was thankful to be able to serve him with divorce papers while he was in jail. He'd been hiding to avoid the summons to court.

Why d oesn't she move back home with her mother and daughter and get a restraining order? There is already so much publicity, Georgie Porgie wouldn't dare threatening her, would he?

Seems she is in more danger, the longer she spends time with him, so what's going on?

Zimmerman sent a sex tape of himself and her to her 10 year old daughter! That in itself should be enough to get him locked up. There are laws against sending porno to a child and I would consider that porno. After that, the woman recanted the charges and went back to him? I understand the BWS but these women have to hit a wall, they have to at some point say Enough! How could she think going back to him would somehow be protecting her daughter? Jaw dropping twists in this story.

      -------------------------------------------
      1) Why wouldn't he threaten her? He is vicious and not terribly bright, so all he knows is that he can do exactly what he wants to whoever in his view has it coming and he will be completely absolved of any wrongdoing.

      2) Statistically, a woman is in the most danger when she leaves or when her abuser thinks she is going to leave. She is damned if she leaves, and damned if she doesn't. And she knows it.

    2. Having lived, probably, a lot longer than you, this HAS been my life experience. Call it anecdotal, then, but I know both men and women who agree with this.

Is it that women are socialized to be this way, or, a lack of testosterone? (We hardly see this behavior in men.) Watched any Lifetime movies lately? Stereotypes exist for a reason.

Almost without exception, I like your comments here very much. -:)

hrh, I'm sorry, but you probably haven't live longer than I and if you have, it ain't by much. Nefer is right. You are either extremely sheltered in the number of women you have met or intolerably ignorant.

    5. Just spent some time at a search engine where I keyed in, "mixed messages from women." Surprisingly enlightening, and reaffirming. At least, that's the way I read what was there.

I'm thinking the two of you are being overly PC in an effort to be balanced.

I have not been sheltered and am certainly not intolerably ignorant. I know what I have read all these years and what I have experienced for decades.

Hmmm, did I strike a nerve? Be that as it may, can we agree to disagree without the vitriol?

So, you've never known any men who stay in relationships where they are abused (mentally, emotionally, and even physically) by their female partner? The first one I ever witnessed was when I was in high school. I knew of at least three or four in college. Imagine how many were hidden. Female victims are unlikely to report partner abuse to the police. Male victims are much, much, MUCH less likely to do so.

Is she really pregnant? I read conflicting reports about that - that she denied it when the police said that at first. IF she is pregnant with Zimmerman's baby, then I could see her changing her mind because maybe he threatened to make her life a living hell if she & the child leave?

He's committed at least three criminal acts of violence, and gotten away with all of them. I'm sure this winning streak will embolden him to continue.

What kind of judge could his father have been? Anyone willing to guess "a corrupt one"?

There were obvious lapses in judgement and execution of police protocol favorable to this judge’s son that in the first place allowed this dangerous criminal with past records of violence against police, carry a concealed weapon, hunt his neighbors- which the police were well aware of- culminating in his- Zimmermans murder of Trayvon.

severe abnormalities in the department that allowed his release from custody after the crime, even though ‘unnecessary man slaughter’ had been written on his folder.

Further, the declaration of Trayvon ‘missing’ for three days while his family searched for him, when the police had his personal information as is seen in the image above, from the day of the murder, raises the instance of ‘aiding and abetting and concealing’ murder within the department.

Three cases, three charges, all closed. - yes...the retired magistrate judge still has influence.

I hate to be a skeptic but if I had to guess, this is all about the big bucks. George has money. Her behavior, getting pregnant in the very beginning of the relationship, it all looks like grift to me. Imagine the child support order. The National Enquirer deals! I will be happy to be wrong but I bet time proves me right.

George spent all of the $400K collected from donations on personal items. He has no money because any income he gets is owed to the legal team that defended him. He currently owes $2.5 MILLION and According to recent court documents a midst George Zimmerman’s latest arrest for assault and battery charge against his girlfriend, he has just $144. to his name.
