Levi Johnston is sick of Bristol Palin treating him like he doesn't exist -- claiming she's been traveling around the country with their son Tripp ... and he wants her held in contempt.
Levi just filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- asking the judge to order Bristol ... who's currently going to school in Arizona .. to return their son to Alaska STAT.
Levi claims Bristol up and took Tripp to Arizona in January -- and all he got was a text.
During their custody battle, Levi claims both parents were ordered to keep Tripp in Alaska unless they both agreed he could travel.
Sources close to Bristol tell us, Levi's just trying to start drama because she called him out last year for not paying child support -- he's known all along Bristol goes to school in Arizona. And, she says Levi never sees the kid anyway ... so his whining is ridiculous.
So now you know why Levi's attorney filed a motion holding Bristol in contempt. She was NOT allowed to take Tripp out of state without prior agreement, and she did anyway.
And she tells him with a text?
Of course as we all know the Palins don't believe the rules apply to them anyway. We have seen that time and time again.
And by the way those "sources close to Bristol," (Hi Sarah!) are dead wrong about the child support payments.
I have been told by a little bird that he has cancelled checks that demonstrate that he has paid a significant amount of that child support, including the amount in arrears, and that this information is now with CSSD.
And as for him not seeing Tripp very often, that is all about Bristol denying him visitation. Once again Levi asks all the time and either she refuses to respond or he is given some bull shit excuse about Tripp not being available.
This is good that Levi's side is getting out there, especially after the National Enquirer claimed that the custody case was closed.
What Bristol and Sarah want is for there not to be any publicity so that they can screw Levi over, or quietly fight him in court until he is drained of resources, without anybody in the press getting wind of it.
And something that the press really needs to realize is that if they check Court View they will see that Bristol is being represented by her mother's lawyer, John J Tiemessen, whose retainer is paid by SarahPAC.
That means that while Levi scrapes together enough money to pay a lawyer up here in Alaska, while also struggling to feed his family on an electrician's paycheck, Bristol simply sits on her ass in her mother's big house in Arizona and lets the idiots that donate to her mother's PAC help her to keep Tripp away from his father.

DeleteIt probably isn't legal. PAC money can only be used for political activities and to promote politicians. Sarah can use it to pay for her book tour because the book tours keep her in the public eye and, therefore, promotes her. She can use it to pay for people to write speeches for her or to leave comments on blogs, because, again, it promotes her and, technically, her political point of view.

If Levi signed a confidentialty agreement like the contestants on DWTS, not to talk about Brissy and her pregnancy, then he might be able to get out from under it. I hear Judge Judy telling people all the time "You CANNOT enter into a contract with a minor" His lawyer should review those papers. Levi could make a lot of $$$ simply by telling the entire truth about the PayMe family. He was a kid when they latched onto him, he is older and wiser now.

Trig's birth mother should not have anything to do with Tripp's custody arrangements. Bristol's pregnancy was presented at the Republican Convention as proof that Sarah gave birth to Trig, while it does nothing of the kind. Sarah never showed Trig's birth certificate. (Where is Orly Taitz where you have a real birther story?) Trig could have been born before the stated April 18 birthday. Sarah's description of flying while in labor and giving birth in a small town hospital which does not deliver high risk premature special needs babies are both such fantastic lies. The photo of Sally and Chuck hold a big fat baby who was "hours old" makes Sarah's story unbelievable. Trig was probably prematurely, and released from the neonatal ward in the middle of April. Who Trig's birth mother is should not have anything to do with Tripp's custody.

I'm not sure if Bristol is Trig's mother; she certainly could have been but I am sure that Sarah was not his birth mother.

I guess that the only way that Trig's birth mother matters is if Bristol wants to throw herself on the mercy of the court, crying and sobbing, telling the judge that she was Trig's birth mother but Sarah arranged to take him from Bristol and adopt him (or raise him as her own son). That's why Bristol clings to Tripp and needs to hold on to him so tightly. We could cal it the ultimate Hail Mary Pass.

There's 'school' as if there are no schools (with in-state tuition) in Alaska. How about school for the child. He should be in kindergarten at least, and we never see pix of him doing schoolwork, or FB postings about how scared she was at her first parent-teacher conference. Come on, Judge. Do what's best for the boy...make her bring him home and leave him there..with his dad, or the person he calls "dad." I am still not sure that Levi is the father of this boy.

We all know Sarah's motto, "I'll do as I please until the courts tell me I can't." Even when the courts ordered Sarah to butt out of her sister's divorce, that didn't stop Sarah. There are schools in Anchorage which offer the same kind of skin care classes that Bristol is taking in Arizona. It's not as if that school in Arizona is the only place in the world that offers skin care lessons. While Bristol is at school, who watches Tripp? If she had stayed in Wasilla, there were plenty of people from both the Palin and Johnston families to look after Tripp. The worst thing that Bristol is doing is using Tripp because of her anger against Levi. It's time for Bristol to get some therapy about letting it go. Being a single mother was her only claim to fame to get on DWTS, to give speeches and have a book and blog ghost written for her. She has no other identity, other than being Sarah Palin's daughter.

Palin can do whatever she wants with her PAC money, there are very few restrictions. She doesn't even have to donate any money to candidates. PACs are a free for all. She pays her lawyer a monthly retainer from her PAC funds and can use his time any way she sees fit, including to work on Bristol's custody case. This would certainly constitute a "gray area" if his billable hours were investigated, however, because Bristol has a blog that shares information from Sarah's Facebook and highlights political and lifestyle causes that SarahPac promotes, it would be easy enough for Palin to consider Bristol and consultant or employee of the PAC and state that legal representation was a benefit of being allied with her PAC.

The one thing that Bristol can't dance around is the fact that she is in contempt of court for knowingly and willingly removing her son from the state after the courts made it clear in October that prior written approval need be granted from Levi prior to doing so. That's some pretty serious shit that will come back to bite her in the butt. It's kinda like kidnapping your kid....

She can use the $$$ to PROMOTE herself, which is why she's allowed to use all that money for "postage" and why the PAC pays for her air travel and other expenses for her visits. DeleteI really hope Levi uses the footage from "Life's a Tripp" where Bristol lies to Tripp about Levi meeting them to spend time with Tripp without ever confirming with Levi. She asks Tripp if he wants to see Levi and he says yes. She calls him Levi not Daddy yet encouraged Tripp to call Trial husband Gino "Daddy". Then she acts like she's calling Levi and he's not picking up. All an act to paint Levi as a deadbeat dad while breaking her child's heart and causing him real pain and damaging the relationship with his father. That episode made me sick to my stomach. A mother causing psychological damage and pain to her own child for TV and too stupid to realize it. Like mother, like daughter.

DeleteI thought that the most damning thing that described Bristol's parenting abilities was that letter that she wrote to Melissa Rivers for the Wife Swap program. Bristol said that Tripp ruled the roost. She couldn't get him to behave unless she bribed him with popsicles. I hope that someone save that letter and that it is published again. Those are Bristol's own words, damning herself. Bristol also reached out to the strangers who read her blog, asking for parenting advice. There are books about parenting, parenting classes, information on line and support groups all over the place. That's the problem with a child has a child. One of them has to grow up and become the adult, and so far, Bristol is the second child there.
DeleteThis is called "alienation of affection" and is (or should be) taken very seriously by a family court judge. Custody has been taken away because of such alienation. Let's hope Levi's has a great lawyer and a judge who isn't bought and paid for by Palin money.

Bristol would have to prove she is destitute and there are NO opportunities in Alaska in order for her 'school' to be even considered as an issue. Bristol knew she could not legally take Tripp out of state for her own selfish interests, but she did it anyway.

While I agree that it is likely the PAC is funding some of Bristol's legal custody defense, there are no facts at all that prove this. It would not be appropriate to claim this as fact when it is unclear and unproven.
ReplyDeleteI have always thought the monthly legal retainer paid by the PAC served 2 purposes - one would be Palin's new legal business and problems and the second was to pay off the old Palin legal bills, you know, that $500,000 she claimed was ruining her family so she had to quit.
Again only a suspicion - the motions hit the courts this week, Bristol was notified, panicked, cried, and called her mama to save her. Sarah freaked and went into revenge seeking mode, called her pre-paid legal servant and demanded that he DO SOMETHING. STOP THIS, SHUT IT DOWN.
So, Tiemessen filed the objection as demanded by vengeance seeking Sarah but he is unlikely going to represent Bristol in the nitty gritty family court battles. Think about it.......

DeleteTiemessen is on a retainer for $8000 per month. He's going to do whatever she asks him. My dad's best friend is an attorney and he calls this kind of monthly retainer a "boat payment".
DeleteIf she has paid him that amount monthly, for now almost 5 years, then her old legal debts are just about paid off. (96,000 per year x 5 years = $480,000)
DeleteWHAAAAA! if Van Flein and then Tiemessen earned as much as Chris Christie's attorney ($650/hour) then they provided over 700 hours of legal service. Really. If they charge say $400/hour then its about 1200 hours of service. That's a lot of legal representation.

Although there was an awful lot of new legal biz that would have had to be paid for as well. All that quitting business, contracts, confidentiality agreements, reality shows, family crisis after crisis, new babies to hide, people to threaten, blogs to monitor, payoffs to coordinate. Maybe she is not able to pay down the principle at all and this monthly retainer is being spent as fast as its transferred from the PAC.

This article on TMZ is getting some attention. A few commenters are bashing Levi - but most are bashing Bristol and Sarah. One person included in her comment the section of the custody agreement that Bristol has violated.

Wishing Levi and Sunny happiness and success in this. This whole saga just proves that anyone who ever had anything to do with the Palins or their children must submit to them for life. I just found this at an old Palingates post on the PAC, from Nov 2009. It has been a huge payday for the legal team in Alaska for representing the Palins:

This particular conversation happened with commenter Jean_A which as we all know is a bastion of support for the Pee'rs and one of the foundations of that particular website in all of it's heinousness. At any rate, Jean_A was smacked down by one of the new GretaWire folks. Why are they pissed at Gretawire now? Did she look at Sarah crosseyed or call todd a pimp? Why?
DeleteGretawire blog was moderating them wayyy too hard and started kicking them off when they said stupid things so C4P offered up their open post for all of the "disenfranchised" Gretawire people to "come on over because we don't moderate anyone but liberals" so about 7 times the number of actual C4P posters came over from Gretawire and kind of took over their open comments forum to the point that the newcomers have no idea who the old C4P posters are. It's kind of amusing to watch. They have gone from 15 die hard c4P'rs with a few hundred comments per day to over 2000 comments per day and about 150 new commenters, so much that the regular old time Peer's have a hard time talking to each other thru the noise of the Greta "immigrants"
