Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Which do you think is damaging?
Anybody who tells a sweet child like this that they were born into sin, is an ignorant POS.
My step-mother tried this crap with my little half-sister. I didn't let it work. Every time I heard her try some of that garbage, I talked with my sister later on.
My sister is okay.
And when her husband later tried the same crap with THEIR daughter, she slapped him hard verbally. Wouldn't allow that in her house!
Since he kept doing it, they ended up divorcing - and SHE got permanent, custody with him having only supervised visitation. (I don't think he liked the idea of having a female NORTHERN raised judge!)
I'd like to point out here that attributes assigned to the religion column aren't universal-- --and the ones attributed to science are wrong. Does science really state the child is beautiful? I don't think that's falsifiable, and you can't rely on anecdotal data; you need empirical data and if you had gathered that data at the local Wal*Mart, I'm sure you would see that according to science she isn't provably beautiful.
Another reason to thank my parents for being Atheist and raising us Atheist! It's only since I've become an adult that I realize the importance of their decision.
Yes, isn't it wonderful that an innocent new born child is born with original sin? Never made any sense to me even when I WAS a "believer". What "sin" was committed just from the fact any child was born? She's beautiful just the way she was the day she was born, she doesn't need "guilt" to keep her in a group that believes she's not just because she's female.
And when you point this out and ask if newborn babies who die without being baptized go to hell, watch their faces as they quickly backpedal and come up with some excuse to explain that no, we don't publish babies because they're not really born in sin, I mean they are forgiven, I mean....
This picture forgot to mention, under religion:

Way to turn a beautiful thing like faith into what you are, nasty.
