"Oh give me a home, where the assholes doth roam, and their ATV's and guns are on display." Bundy son leads protest in Utah.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Hundreds of activists seeking to directly challenge federal control of swathes of territory in the U.S. West on Saturday drove dozens of all-terrain vehicles into protected land in Utah that is home to Native American artifacts and where such journeys are banned.

The ride into Recapture Canyon, which comes amid heightened political tensions, is a protest against indecision by federal land managers on whether to reopen canyon trails to recreational vehicle use after more than seven years of study.

About 300 people rallied at a nearby park before dozens of people, some of them armed with guns, set off in about 60 ATVs down a closed-off trail, which winds through red rock desert. The local sheriff had armed officers on horseback monitoring the protest.

You can always tell the Teabaggers by their protest signs. You know it is time to "tranfer" federal lands.
I think it makes perfect sense for these assholes to ride their motorized ponies through protected land over Native American artifacts. After all it was probably their ancestors who handed out those small pox infected blankets to the Indians.

However it was not simply history and government workers who were disturbed by the antics of these yahoos.

Courtesy of KUTV:

A land dispute in Southeastern Utah has derailed an event for military veterans.

"On Sunday we were going to go through a traditional Navajo Warrior welcoming home ceremony," said Stacy Bare, an Iraq War Veteran, who has been coordinating the weekend event for 20 veterans in the wilderness near Blanding, Utah.

In light of recent protests in the region between citizens and the feds, Bare and his comrades are worried protestors could get out-of-hand, so they canceled the veterans project.

"There's plenty of opportunities to ride ATV's and RV's and if people are upset with the government there's opportunities for due process," said Bare. "It's just a real shame."

Indian artifacts, federally protected lands, war veterans, do any of these really matter if you can't selfishly ride your off road vehicles whenever, and wherever, you want to?

I love the "approving" look of the guy on the right, as if he completely fails to recognize the spelling mistake in "tranfer."

    What a "moran."

Dearest Lord in the heavens above: when will people learn to spell "moron"? It isn't spelled "moran"; that's a surname.

"Moron" is the correct spelling for a retard, or in today's example, a Bundy.

The poor spelling is being done on purpose by the poster because of it being spelled that way on tea bagger signs, get a clue.

    4. Dearest Balzafiar: "Moran" is a meme because of the now iconic protest photo. From knowyourmeme.com:

"Get a Brain! Morans is an exploitable photograph of a man seen at a protest outside a Boeing plant in St Charles, Missouri in 2003. The infamously misspelled sign came to embody the “proud to be ignorant” stereotype sometimes placed on midwestern or southern Americans."

I expect the Queen of All Things Veteran to grab her buddies Ted Cruz and Mike Lee and high tail it out there to protest this reprehensible treatment of our veterans. Or at least dash off a strongly worded Facebook protest post.

    Or not.

    What a fraud.

When you see the weird expression on Cliven's son's face you begin to understand what federal officials are dealing with. This is sheer ignorance and resentment (of what, I do not know.) These are some dumb ass crazy folks but, make no mistake, they are potentially very, very dangerous.

I'm not sure if that is a weird expression or not. It looks like it may be his normal appearance. I can't imagine why he would be distorting it in that manner otherwise.

If their theory is that the land needs to go to the original owners shouldn't it go back to the Native American tribes from that area?

BTW I always love how rightwing extremist can't spell correctly on their signs.

Cowboy hat symbolizing that western independent redneck, check.Supporters in sweat pants, thread worn flannel, bellies falling over pubic regions, and more fat than found on a barn yard hog, check. All openly violating Federal Laws. What more could a states rights, treason bloviating, seditionist ask for? The very vision our founding fathers had for the future of their great nation.

They want trouble so badly, they are willing to start it any way they can.
I hope that the Navajo Peoples don't put up with this shit. How pathetic it would be for the World to see just how pathetic these Bundyclowns are. Invading the land that belongs to American Indians.

America has done little to protect the American Indians - i.e. Navajos throughout these many years. It's about time it be done!

These Bundy clowns need to be brought up short (and quickly) before they ruin more native American property.

If I was the Federal Prosecutor for Utah, I'd have the sheriff's taking down license plates, noting names, taking photos, all quietly. And then when these assholes get back home they will be served with fines for all the violations they just perpetrated on the Citizen's Property. Trespass, riding motorized vehicles in a restricted area, destruction of property, destruction of historical site, destruction of archeological site, etc. etc. And when they fail to pay, ignore court order summons, then they are quietly removed from their couch and made to sit 30 days at the local county and have their pay check garnished. Take em out one at a time, legally, and where it hurts them, in their non-existent pockets and in their home towns.

Or, pictures could be taken w/a drone and photos and car ID's could be obtained to use against them. Fines, tickets, liens, etc.

Let's find out where the riders' ancestors are buried and go do a few donuts over their grave sites with ATVs. Knock over some headstones, muck up the grounds, maybe take a few souvenirs. We can claim that we just want to ride there and that the church has been overreaching in designating cemetery sites.
