Sarah Palin curses another one.

From Granny Grifter's Facebook page:

To Minnesota GOP Delegates meeting today, I urge you to support Julianne Ortman in her bid to unseat Al Franken as the Gopher State’s next senator. Julianne is a true conservative and the only candidate who is battle tested with the leadership and experience necessary to beat Franken in November. As a state senator, she proved her commitment to conservative principles and her determination to make the tough calls to get things done. As the first woman to ever head the Senate Tax Committee, she led the effort to balance a $5 billion deficit without raising taxes by a single dollar. Those are the kind of results we need in Washington! Julianne will serve Minnesota and the nation with distinction and be a fighter for our liberties in the Senate. Please lend her your support.

 - Sarah Palin

Sadly for Palin it looks like her candidate of choice is already flaming out. The delegates HAVE been voting, and as of right now it looks like a battle between Chris Dahlberg and Mike McFaddden for the nomination, with 41% to 28.8%, and Ortman essentially out of the running with an abysmal 18%.

This even though she received backing from the completely still relevant Tea Party Express.

And after she claimed to have raised more money than Senator Al Franken back in April. I mean her campaign would never confirm that, but she SAID it.

You know I wonder if it burns just a little when Sarah Palin endorses you, and if afterward you can feel your political career gasping out its last desperate breaths?

The only people Sarah associates with are losers, that are on the same ignorant level that she is. Successful, intelligent people, won't have anything to do with her and her pimp, trash husband. Those that thought she was cute and supported her in the past, are now realizing how they made a bad judgement, and are distancing themselves from her uncontrollable crazy.

The penultimate losers (the ragtag band at Cee-for-Peepee) are the slowest learners. They will be scrambling for their couch nickels until the end. Anything for their 'Queen'. It would be sad except their ignorance is ugly and hateful.

Al Franken would wipe the floor with this chick and he'd pulverize ol' Skank in any sort of conversation. Al is wicked smart and Minnesotans are VERY happy with his service. Sarah should butt out, but she can't help to stick her stinkin' nose into every state she can. Minnesota will NOT vote for this woman, no how and no way. They've had it with backwards thinking idiots like Michele Bachmann. This latest candidate will suck balls.

Whenever cons ask women to support other women in politics, I think of Sarah Palin, and no, we don't have to support all of em, any of em put in front of us over the years adoring to have power and influence over our lives. Thanks, but no thanks.

Different day, same old Sarah saying the same old things: true conservative, battle tested,etc... And she went down to Mississippi and told the foolish that Chris McDaniel has a "servant's heart" and to pay no attention to those media reports implicating him in a scandal involving taking photos of his opponent's sick wife in a nursing home.

Sarah can only sing one song. And most have heard that song way too many times and are changing the channel.

Ortman out; race down to two

    http://www.startribune.com/politics/blogs/261343341.html

The race for Republican endorsement for U.S. Senate is down to two.
After failing to receive the required 20 percent of votes, State Sen. Julianne Ortman is out of the race, leaving St. Louis County Commissioner Chris Dahlberg and Sunfish Lake investment banker Mike McFadden to face off on the sixth ballot. An endorsement requires 60 percent of votes. Dahlberg led McFadden by 10 points in round five.

Ortman, who long pledged to abide by the GOP endorsement, was a few votes shy of 20 percent, and before the totals were read did not explicity say she was dropping out.

  7. Ortman's already out of the race. If you go to the link posted above (about the delegate votes) and go to the link for newer posts you'll see, two post up, that she's out of there.

Fantastic news, indeed! The republicons already have their pitchforks out and John McCain needs a fainting couch. The father is an amazing man, he learned their language, grew a beard in their tradition, and thanked them in his presser. I haven't turned to "that channel" but I'm sure the outrage meter is off the charts.

In Minnesota, $50 for an individual or $100 for a married couple (if you file a joint Political Contribution Refund application) can be given to some races or to a political party and have that money refunded back from the state.

I wonder how many Sarah Palin backs that didn't ask for her endorsement? We all know she typically does things for money, but some of this 'endorsing stuff' could be done just to get her name mentioned on a few blogs and in the campaign/press of the potential candidate.

She continues to be the 'kiss of death' though. I sure wouldn't want her endorsement anywhere near me were I a candidate.

She won't endorse anyone in Alaska because part of her quit agreement was that she keep a low profile and not be involved in AK politics ever again. Why do you think she didn't go to the Freedom Fest a mile from her house and instead travels the lower 48 promoting other state's candidates?

  24. Anita Winecooler5:38 PM

Oh look at Julianne grinning from ear to ear with her sunday best outfit and flag pin prominently displayed. Isn't she a heaping helping of patriotic strawberries and whipped creme! What a shame poor Julianne doesn't realize that the name "Sarah Palin" is like a kiss on the cheek from Judas. Something tells me Julianne already knows she's tanking, she's wearing her mourning dress.
Speaking of Julianne, maybe Ms Ortman should watch "Game Change" and learn you can't balance a deficit no matter how hard you try.

Sarah Palin knows nothing about Minnesota. We get back 60 some cents for every dollar we send to Washington, DC. If Michelle Bachmann and the other Minnesota and national GOP/same tea grifters really gave a damn about Minnesota and Minnesotans, they'd get back more of the other 30 some cents on the dollar sent to DC so it's not ending up in net taking red states.

Sarah Palin I noticed that you spend a lot of time endorsing political candidates. What I have also noticed is that you have not spent any time with your children's high school education or preparing them for college. That is shameful that you a multimillionaire that won't spend your own money to further your children's education. If you had spent time with your children when they were young then your three oldest children would be in college right now.
