Video shows Open Carry advocates confused by negative response from restaurant patrons.

Courtesy of Mother Jones:

Two videos posted on YouTube on May 19 by the San Antonio chapter of Open Carry Texas—since removed from public view but obtained by Mother Jones—show its armed members being refused service at both restaurants. The two companies have not made official statements on open carry but have since indicated that they are reviewing their policies. From the nervous and angry reactions of some patrons to comments from some of the gun activists themselves, it's not difficult to see why these spectacles haven't been winning many people over.

When a young woman approaches the group in Chili's and expresses her dismay, a guy with an assault rifle strapped across his back offers her a flyer. "Um actually, there's children here," she replies, "and you're a dumbass." As she walks away one member of the group comments mockingly, "Yes, I'm a dumbass," and then says of her, "must be Moms Demand Action," referring to the national gun reform group.

In the Sonic video, as the thwarted gun group lingers in an adjacent parking lot, one member says: "I just wish I had my kids in there when that one dumb chick come up and started rattin' her mouth."

Personally I think these inbred morons should keep right on showing up at restaurants with those long guns and their bellies hanging over their belts.

They might literally do more to usher in stricter gun control laws, than the recent mass shootings have managed to do.

Which, of course, is nothing.

Duck Dynasty Star Phil Robertson to Address GOP Conference

According to a recent announcement, Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson will join a number of high profile Republicans who will address the 2014 Republican Leadership Conference this week. The controversial subject of that reality show will join prominent GOP personalities ranging from Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus to Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

The RLC, which is being held in New Orleans this week, will feature a number of celebrity GOP politicians as well as the celebrity reality show star. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Ron Johnson (R-WI) will also be speaking at the conference.

But not every RLC speaker is a sitting politician. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a featured RLC speaker, recently embraced his role as a television personality. Robertson will also be joined on stage by another reality show host: Donald Trump.

The GOP has no war on women. They just don't think they are smart or clever enough to speak to the assembled white old men. We see through you, GOP...you are done.

The Constitution does not guarantee the right to frighten, intimidate, menace, or tyrannize American citizens.

These goons are clearly subpar, in character and intelligence.
Half of them look pregnant, with their bellies hanging over their belts (more pregnant than Sarah Palin looked in 2008, LOL). I would boycott any business that allowed these domestic terrorists on my property.

Woman 'devastated' to be named by Santa Barbara shooter Elliot Rodger as motivation for killing spree, dad says

... The woman’s father said it was Saturday morning when his 20-year-old daughter realized Rodger had made her part of his sick story.

“She’s devastated by this,” the dad said in a phone interview. “She doesn’t even remember this guy. . . . She’s always been the most delicate kid you’d ever want to meet. For him to call her a bully, this kid was really disillusioned.

“She was 10 years old,” the dad added. “He was two years older than her. He was in my son’s class. She was in the seventh grade and he was in eighth grade. . . . Can you imagine a 10-year-old kid bullying a 12-year-old? This little, petite girl bullying him?”

In his screed, Rodger called his crush an “evil bitch” who “teased and ridiculed” him and “wounded me deeply.”

“A group of popular seventh grade girls started teasing me, which hurt a lot,” he wrote.

“One of these girls was . . . a pretty blonde girl.”

Years later, despite red flags about his mental health and a visit from sheriff’s deputies on April 30, the college student went on to gun down two sorority sisters and kill four other people before apparently shooting himself in the head.
Path that killer Elliott Rodger took during his shooting rampage in Isla Vista, California. New York Daily News

“The world that I grew up thinking was bright and blissful was all over,” Rodger wrote of his treatment by the girl.

The ‘Twisted World’ Elliot Rodger Lived In

...Rodger felt entitled to women, entitled to the sex he saw as women’s sole raison d’etre — as though a woman were a vending machine, and he’d paid his money but his bag of Funyuns had become stuck on its way out. He felt so entitled to women that the fact that he was a virgin registered to him as an injustice, an injustice worthy of murderous “retribution.” He believed — with the fervency of a zealot — that women had denied him something he was owed, and his fury was made lethal thanks to the ease with which anyone can amass an arsenal.

Sarah Palin Admits She is “Stupid on Steroids”

...The most offensive and amazing thing is that Sarah Palin promotes her image as a gun enthusiast, and refers to a “gun-free” zone as “stupid on steroids.”
Yet whenever Sarah Palin appears at a public event, she insists that her audience be free of guns. Even in 2008 when McCain and Palin appeared together they would do so only in gun-free zones. Thus, Sarah Palin suggests that we would be “stupid on steroids” to protect children at school or movie-goesr from guns. Yet at Sarah Palin events she restricts the 2nd Amendment rights of her audiences.

Gun stokers just so sad people are dissing them even though they are totting a honking great penis extender.

These guys need the emotional thrill of intimidating someone. If they can get a member of the public to give them an excuse to go into a thees-mah-raights rant, all the better. Gun rights is just another arena to extended the bullying they've used since childhood to compensate for their fears and loneliness.

    They are pathetic. And dangerous.

It would be a good idea to start a trend, print up some cards to bring along to restaurants, "thanks for not allowing guns in your family restaurant."

A bar in Plano, Texas, is under fire after an employee scribbled a domestic violence "joke" onto a chalkboard at the establishment.

The joke read: "I like my beer like I like my violence. Domestic."

Courtney Williams, who was at the bar, Scruffy Duffies, on Saturday night, posted a photo of the offending sign on the Facebook page of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The image quickly spread across the Internet.

Before posting a photo of the sign, Williams complained to multiple managers about it, only to be told she was overly emotional and should "calm down."

"When I told him it was in extremely poor taste and that I’d appreciate it being taken down, he told me to calm down, and that if I hadn’t been so 'aggressive' the conversation would go better," she wrote.

The sign was eventually removed after Williams left the bar. When she later returned, Williams was refused entry. She chronicled the ordeal online later that night.

"The sign immediately struck me in the worst way," she wrote on her Facebook. "Not only did it dreg up some unpleasant memories in my life, but it struck a chord that this bar was condoning domestic violence as a joke and expressing that victims were no more important than the type of beer someone was drinking."

The bar, Scruffy Duffies, released a statement on Facebook in response to the incident, calling the sign offensive and pledging to investigate.

One last comment, holy shit, look at the fat fucks eating at Chilis! Chilis is kind of amusing because a certain segment of the population acts like it's a "fine night of dining" but really, it's McDonald's and Arby's with a higher price tag(think Red Robin, Olive Garden or Red Lobster)! Their food is terrible, and not that expensive but knowing their demographic a night out at Chilis hits their wallet in the same way as a night at Simons or Marx. Then again, most of these people seem to dine with their children and places like this are friendly to kids so maybe that's why so many flock there because they can't afford babysitters.

Most fine dining establishments don't encourage patrons to bring children. That's what makes them 'fine dining establishments'.

There's no law against open carrying fliers, last time I checked. But even if they're doing it legally, what's the outcome? Fear and Terror.
