Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
The purpose of life is to nurture and protect those that follow our own.
How many people do you know who have changed their way of living? Seriously.....how many people do you know who have solar panels or have insulated their houses, or work for 'green' candidates? Most of the people we know still drive gas-guzzlers and fly on a regular basis for pleasure.
If we do not change our fossil fuel ways very soon, our kids' lives are doomed.
I've been a climate change activist for 12 years and have seen very little movement toward sustainability in that time. What will it take? One climate scientist said it will take a million deaths from one or two climate-related disasters before people decide to change. That's very scary.
