Madison Kimrey |
Dear Sarah Palin,
Usually, I’ll read about some things you said and laugh. I’m not laughing today. The reason I’m not laughing today, Sarah, is that I’m a young woman who actually cares about my country. I care about the next generation of leaders, and I want them to have more role models in the political arena that inspire them, not more clowns for them to laugh at. I want them to have advocates who will fight for them, not more attention-seeking snake oil salespeople.
You tweeted on Monday, “Look who fired the 1st shot in the real ‘war on women. Hint: it wasn’t the GOP. See this excerpt from Hillary’s book.” The excerpt from Hilary Clinton’s book describes a situation in which she felt uncomfortable making a statement questioning the legitimacy of your selection as John McCain’s running mate as an attempt to use a woman to appeal to women voters. Really? You think this was the “first shot” in the war on women? You don’t think women have had to fight for every right we currently have, every opportunity we have? You don’t think women must continue to fight for these rights and opportunities which are constantly under attack? Well, let me tell you what I see from my house, Sarah. You’re the one who is fighting a war here, not just on women but on justice, enlightenment, and freedom.
When you spoke at CPAC, you declared that a culture war had been won against “perpetual panties-in-a-wad people” because a homophobe marketing himself as a redneck didn’t lose his job on a reality TV show. Well, let’s talk about our panties, shall we? There was a time not too long ago when women only had one choice when it came to their panties. Now, opening the underwear drawer can provide an endless array of colors and styles. I think it’s past time that you choose to put your big girl panties on and stop defending the ridiculous, perpetuating false attacks on our president and appearing at Tea Party rallies holding your hand over your heart. That’s not politics, it’s pandering. You, Sarah, are pandering to the lowest common denominator instead of trying to promote reasonable discourse and the across-the-aisle approach to policy that the majority of Americans want.
You seem to think women like me are “cheap dates” who are going let anyone in their panties who says what they want to hear. That would be the people you’re pandering to, Sarah. That would be the people who think the 2nd Amendment means carrying an assault rifle into Target. That would be the extremists who cover the bodies of their victims with “Don’t Tread on Me” flags. That would be the people who threaten women with rape for speaking out on the issues.
The future of this country deserves better. I deserve leadership who, regardless of whether or not I agree with their policy positions, is capable of conducting themselves with dignity. I deserve leaders who, when attacking the positions of their opponents, attack them with the truth. This nation deserves leaders who work to expand the opportunities and rights of all Americans and who don’t contribute to tragic outcomes for our fellow citizens.
I’ve tried very hard to find something to admire about you. The struggle was real. I do admire that our country has come so far that you and I as women have the opportunity to speak out and engage in the political sphere. Even though I disagree with your positions and methods, I admire you for using the opportunity so many women who came before us have fought for us to have. I don’t know how far I will choose to pursue my career in the political sphere, but it would be pretty cool to come out the way you did at CPAC with some music playing before my speech. You chose, “She’s Country.” This is my choice, and I hope the youth of this nation will continue to join their voices and sing so loudly we eventually drown out the voices of ignorance, greed, and intolerance.
Sincerely,
Madison Kimrey
Damn! I feel like I have found my long lost daughter.
This is not Kimrey's first time writing an open letter to a Right Wing lunatic, in April she did the same for Phyllis Schlafly.
She also has a blog called Functional Human Being.
Sort of comforting to know that one day when I hang up my keyboard that there are gifted writers like this ready to take on corrupt politicians, Right Wing wingnuts, and homophobes in my absence.
Sarah, you're in Madison's sights now. You are so f*cked. A girl like this one won't back down. Are you going to whine about being a victim?
ReplyDeleteWow! Told off by a Twelve year old who is smarter than HER! A future Wendy Davis or Liz Warren!
DeleteWhat will Sarah say? You know she will have some sort of smart ass remark even tho this little girl was very respectful to her.
What a breath of fresh air!
Can you imagine what will be Sarah Palin's reply to and about her? I fully expect her complete lack of class and maturity will shine with this one. We all know that she is so jealous and dismissive of successful, educated and intelligent woman and this child makes her and her daughters look like the slimy crawly things that they are.
ReplyDeleteChickenshit Sarah won't reply
DeleteShe won't reply or she'll say Madison didn't write it, you know, like her daughter (and she herself) don't write theirs.........
DeleteHeh, she would probably go full derp.
DeleteWow. So this is what having hope for future generations feels like. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteSarah should be put on immediate suicide watch after that. Unless, of course, she is completely lacking a soul...
She won't understand the letter because she's slow. And she won't care about the parts she does get because she is a narcissist who has zero insight. And yes she is soulless.
DeleteMadison Kimrey is the future and I am glad to see it; I only regret that I likely won't live long enough, to see her take her rightful place as a World leader. Mikey J
DeleteBOOM!!! That is awesome!! I feel we may have a chance at a future with young women like this!! Madison you rock!
ReplyDelete"You, Sarah, are pandering to the lowest common denominator instead of trying to promote reasonable discourse and the across-the-aisle approach to policy that the majority of Americans want."
DeleteWhat insight and good judgement!
WOW! What an amazingly articulate, well written and thoroughly thoughtful letter. I am so delighted to have read this. Clearly, this young woman is wise and passionate about what she perceives. Thank goodness for the peek into our future leadership. Most of all, THANK YOU MADISON!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first heard there was a woman from Wasilla interested in becoming governor, I was intrigued and hopeful. Had the efforts of the founding mothers in Fairbanks and Southeast finally brought a strong candidate. Many in my staunchly GOP nabe in FBX were hopeful. We were stunned to find out it was a beauty queen with disdain for learning gone rogue. Great letter and I agree with her on that cretin Phyllis Schlafly who is nothing more than a rich lady paid mouthpiece for men too weasly to argue on their own.
ReplyDeleteGreat comment Cheater.
DeleteCorrection; a failed beauty queen.
DeleteTwo days later, and the bitch hasn't responded?
ReplyDeleteLOVE this girl!
To attack that sweet, intelligent girl would be sexist.
DeleteHasn't stopped her before! Time for a Piper blog?
DeleteLMAO!
She will now since Gryphen posted it on IM, since we KNOW she manically surfs IM a zillion times a day. Just watch, now she will come up with some mean girl, nastyass response and attack a young girl, like the classless twunt that Skank woman is.
Delete8:12 She will now since Gryphen posted it on IM, since we KNOW she manically surfs IM a zillion times a day.
Delete-------------------------------
Blogs and the Enquirer are the ONLY things she reads. It's "news" to her. I'm surprised she didn't answer "Immoral Minority!" when Katie asked the famous question.
She doesn't dare respond. Maybe (just maybe) Palin is smart enough to realize that she will be incinerated if she does.
DeleteNah, who am I kidding? Her superiority complex won't allow for such consideration.
I am pretty sure Sarah doesn't understand most of the words. She also cannot comprehend the ideas of so many complicated sentences.
DeleteBristol and Sarah.... in a ga-billion years the mentally crippled enfeebles won't respond to the wisdom of Madison. The two cowards couldn't if they wanted, it is not in their DNA. Brancy may try another shout out to Malia and Sasha, to tell their father to call poor Sarah. lol
DeleteCan you imagine the Palin girls writing anything of that equivalency? We know Sarah can't or even understand what that intelligent girl was saying?
ReplyDeleteHope springs eternal when you hear a young lady express her first amendment rights and it packs so much hope for our young girls and every woman in this country.
I hope I never have to see a botoxed face, black jeans, gaudy belts, blown up boobs and a dirty, disheveled wig with flag stilettos again! I do my best by staying away from streets where that is the norm.
Go Madison!
I can't imagine Nancy French could write the equivalent nor will she try. The Palin fraud machine can only function as brain dead. Someone will do another repeat of their same old propaganda. Fraud machines don't respond to intelligence and they don't get off the irrelevant broken record sing song act.
DeleteNancy French is not that great of a writer. And she isn't very intelligent. She has a choice whether to work for lying grifters like the Palin's. And her choice to do so tells us all we need to know about her intellect and character.
DeleteYou know she's just jealous of Sarah's beauty and intelligence...LOL NOT
DeleteHere's Madison schooling a North Carolina politician:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.upworthy.com/a-senator-said-voter-registration-was-confusing-watch-a-12-year-old-clear-that-up-for-him
Wow!
ReplyDeleteLet's just see Sarah respond to a 14 year-old girl, who has greater wisdom than the whole Palin clan put together.
...and the entire Tea Party!
DeleteWhat an awesome young lady.
ReplyDeleteI have tried many times to compose letters to The Screechy Wretch(tm) and the closest I've come to expressing my true feelings is "Sit down and shut the fuck up already, will ya!"
Just as heartfelt as young Madison's, I know, but admittedly lacking somewhat in grace, civility and perhaps, eloquence, also, too.
What an incredible young woman.
ReplyDeletePat Padrnos
That was a great read let's make it go viral! This wonderful young lady will one day be what the money-hungry quitter can only dream of: POTUS!
ReplyDeleteSarah ran on the GOP ticket and she identifies herself as part of the Tea Party movement. Both of these groups have blocked women's access to health care, and yes, that does include the right for the woman to choose to have an abortion. Women who are the victims of rape and/or incest should not have to carry that reminder with them for 9 months, and then have to raise a child they neither want nor can afford. There are times when a pregnancy can cause major health risks for the woman. Everything is not a clear cut case of "choose life." Which do you choose, the potential life that might come from a clump of cells or the life of the woman who can go on to have children when she and her partner can afford to love them and care for them.
ReplyDeleteBut enough about abortion, the subject that no one wants to discuss as Republicans block women's access to insurance coverage for birth control, and close women's health care clinics in Republican states. They are also against equal pay for equal work. Republicans are the ones making the cruel, tasteless jokes about a woman's appearance (as if that has anything to do with their qualifications). Joni Ernst, the gal who castrates pigs has a husband who called Hillary Clinton a hag and he called Janet Napolitano a skank. Phil Robertson, Duck guy, thought that it was a good idea to marry a 15 year old. War on women? Sarah's charged rape victims $300. for a rape kit when she was Mayor of Wasilla.
I guess that it's OK if Sarah Palin wears tight jeans with white phallic stitching, high heel shoes and Belmont Babes to enhance her sex appeal-- but don't comment about how she looks. Actually, that's all that she has going for her because underneath, there is no substance. Sarah is ignorant of world history and US history. Women got the right to vote in 1920. They have been fighting hard for equal representation and pay in government, in the workplace and in schools, and Sarah Palin has set us back.
I went to her blog and I love everything she has to say! She is one amazing young woman.
ReplyDeleteShe has definitaly restored my hope for the future of my country.
I'm very sorry to have to say this, but I don't believe a 12-year-old wrote this: "...You seem to think women like me are “cheap dates” who are going let anyone in their panties who says what they want to hear."
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, she's not a woman yet. Second, her focus on "...let anyone in their panties..." just isn't typical for such a young person. She's being coached or it is ghost-written.
Third, call me old fashioned if you wish, but no 12-year-old has any business wearing lipstick unless she's being groomed for the beauty queen circuit.
Or unless she's really a lot older...and just looks like she's 12.
You don't believe 12-year-olds can be that intelligent and well read? Alrighty then!
DeleteBalzafiar, Madison is the real deal. Check out this video of her:
Deletehttp://www.upworthy.com/a-senator-said-voter-registration-was-confusing-watch-a-12-year-old-clear-that-up-for-him
As a teacher, i thought no way did a 12 year old write this by herself. I know a couple 12 year olds and they are pretty immature. Then I thought back to my own children, and they were bright enough to have written something similar. My son especially. He used to write letters to the editor that were very thought provoking and mature when he was 13.
DeleteBalzafiar, I would suggest you Google her name. You will find all sorts of pages to go to for reading more of what this young lady has to say, including videos of her tearing other GOP idiots to shreds. AND statements from teachers who say this is one remarkable young woman.
DeleteAnd just because YOU haven't experienced someone of her age being this intelligent or outspoken or informed, does NOT mean there are none.
As for the makeup? Yes, I will call you old-fashioned. What century did you grow up in? She isn't dressed like a slut like a lot of fad-hungry girls today. She is tastefully outfitted in nice clothes and every picture of her I have seen is demonstrative of her taste. So what if her mother helps her? She has to learn from someone and I for one am glad it is one who has a modicum of taste.
As for your comment about her panties statement, did it never occur to you that some young girls mature a helluva lot faster than others?
Along with intelligence, comes an ability to SEE and UNDERSTAND things earlier than others with lesser abilities.
What it boils down to is this: Some women NEVER grow up and act mature (which is true of many men as well) and others grow up early and shine powerfully (also true of some men).
Yeah, well you're wrong. I've heard this little girl LIVE and she is JUST as articulate off-the-cuff as she is in her writing.
DeleteLipstick? Are you serious? Little girls are wearing lipstick by 12, easily. And besides, this is just a photo, a capture of a moment, who knows what she was doing at the time?
Are you a man to not know your ass from your elbow when it comes to girls? I've been around pre-teens for years and they DO wear lipstick, they DO talk about boys and they DO listen to the chatter around them.
And yes, you are old fashioned, out of touch and clearly not spending time around pre-teens.
And if you don't believe me, take a listen to her on these videos. She's clearly able to articulate herself quite well verbally, so why wouldn't she be able to do so in writing? So again I say, you're just flat wrong.
Deletehttps://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Madison+Kimrey
I think maybe you are out of touch with today's youth. They grow up very fast. Are you around young people much? Just curious. I see your point but knowing my niece and the girls in her school. I'm not surprised. There are gifted, well educated young people. And a lot of pre teens wear make up now- not sure where you live..
DeleteHave you met any intelligent 12 year olds? I might brag that my son was writing for his school paper and involved in many causes in his community at 12.
DeleteThey are out there; some of us are working hard to make sure our kids grow up to make a difference. They can't if we don't encourage them to be aware, think critically, and do what they can even at their young age. You'd be surprised how much more they know than you think they do.
Have you even taken the time to read her blog? Clearly she is able to express herself quite well, covers some very important subjects and is a deeply thinking individual. Just because Sarah and Bristol have their stuff ghostwritten, because they're complete idiots, doesn't mean that it's a standard practice. Go and check out her blog, you might have your eyes open to the powerful messages she is sending, instead of immediately calling her integrity into question. Geeze.
DeleteI have to defend Madison's "panties response" as a rebuttal to Sarah's coarse "panties in a wad" phrase, which is so unlady-like in the first place; and Madison's turning it back onto Sarah in an entirely civil fashion is admirable. She said for us what needed to be said. May we all be as classy as this young lady!
DeleteI'm sorry too...because no one of Palin's age and influence should be writing and speaking like a three year-old.
DeleteDid I even the score for you, bub?
All girls enter into their journey of becoming a woman with their first period. At that point she has left being a little girl. She has entered into the world of becoming a complete woman. A number such as 12 or 15 or 18 or whatever else has absolutely nothing to do with a human being actual growing stages of life.
DeleteMy guess is that the person writing, "I don't think that a 12 year old wrote this" has no idea about young kids today. The easy access of the internet and all those cable shows provide an education about life that older generations didn't get until much later. I don't care if the person who wrote the letter is 12 or 22 or 102. The words matter, and Sarah Palin deserves to be criticized. There has always been a war on women, throughout history. There was a time when the ambitions of girls in high school were restricted to the choices of being a housewife, a secretary, a teacher or a nurse. A woman doctor was a rare individual, as was a woman lawyer. We had a local community paper who described social functions of the various women's groups. The photo had a caption like, "Mrs. Robert Smith, Mrs. Richard Jones, and Mrs.George Baker attended the garden party." They were identified by their husband's name.
DeleteI don't blame you Balzafiar........my first reaction to her essay was NO WAY. Surely she is the mouthpiece of an adult. While I believe that it's true most kids have more mature thoughts than we give them credit for, Madison's just off-the-charts, she is NOT the norm, she is a (in my opinion) a true prodigy.
DeleteI was surprised when I researched her name that she is for real and can prove her verbal savvy in live interviews. I hope she inspires entire generations and she gives me hope.
But, she is far beyond the normal 12 year old. She reminds me of Tevi Gevinson who became a very astute and droll fashion blogger at the age of 11. She also was home-schooled and I would also consider her a prodigy. At 16 now, she has branched out to write and speak about more serious issues.
Hi Gryphen! One word - WOW!!! This young lady has an extremely bright future ahead of her! Kudos to her parents; she was brought up well! They must be so proud of her! Hey $arah, I know you are reading this; you just got your bony ass handed to you! This is how children are raised; by loving parents who care about their future. Madison's mother doesn't run off all over hell's half-acre to further her own ambition; nor did her father ever comment "what's in it for us"? So $arah, have a heaping helping of humble pie, not just Crunchwrap Supremes and Big Gulps! Shame on you and Toad; real fine examples of parents you turned out to be! Get your own nest of delinquents and ne'er-do-wells in line before passing judgment on others, you two-faced traitor!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of panties, Sarah did Bristol ever find her panties the night she went camping with Levi and you didn't know about it?
ReplyDeleteCreepy Chuckles once said and I quote;
Delete"The gorls are always losing their underwear"
I hear nuclear reactor alert alarms going off and see red flags waving.......
Our children are our future and this "young woman" gives me great hope that the future shines very bright.
ReplyDeleteThis nation deserves leaders who work to expand the opportunities and rights of all Americans and who don’t contribute to tragic outcomes for our fellow citizens.
ReplyDeleteMadison that's why Sarah Palin is not our president, vice-president, congresswoman or any elected official. Sarah finds a reality job here and there but she mostly spends her time on Facebook.
That is just amazing to find such utter wisdom and insight coming from a pre-teen! I LOVE it! She has got Sarah down to a T and she expresses herself so well. Good on her, on her parents and teachers and let's watch and see if Sarah attacks a little girl for telling the truth.
ReplyDeleteThat young woman has educated herself and grown to be much wiser in 12 short years than Sarah Palin ever did in her entire lifetime.
ReplyDeleteBrava Madison, and kudos to the grown ups who have guided you to search out truth.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure palin can grasp the meaning of this exceptionally well written letter! That idiot only understands word salad at best.
ReplyDeleteThe only think Palin understands is the voices in her head. She understands all the bugs up her ass also too!
DeleteCoherent thoughts presented in an organized fashion? Not so much.
I agree with the twelve year old on first shot. I have a old video tape on Prez Clinton and the unequal pay for men and women and he stated that it has to stop and become equal. That was oh so many years ago. It's still the same, women are not equally paid. sp is so ignorant.
ReplyDeletePretty sure that this young lady won't settle for a GED and beauty school.
ReplyDeletePretty sure this young lady won't settle for a wine cooler, canvas tent and a sleeping bag.
DeleteNor would she name a DS child "Tri-G', or get a Jay Leno chin, or not know who her baby's daddy is, or dance in a gorilla suit on national TV, or blackmail a FPP into posing as a high risk obstetrician, or have her church friends on a hospital board risk the institution's accreditation by allowing a hoax to involve said institution, or tell the lie over and over again to gullible Americans......we literally could go on and on all day.
DeleteHowever, it is beautiful outside, gonna go and tend my garden .
Madison may be a President one day...sure hope so. She was absolutely wonderful in how she eloquently smacked Sarah Paln down with class! Bravo Madison!!!
ReplyDeleteHeh heh. Paylump got schooled by a 12 year old who can write 100X more articulately than she can :)
ReplyDeleteGuess what $arah, Madison may be only 12, but boy, can she write! She will have no problem in college. (Notice I said "college".) That means one, not FIVE, you fuckin' liar!
DeleteShe'll even graduate (unlike $arah)!
DeleteNo doubt with honors!
It's hilarious how some here refuses to believe that this young lady could have written this brilliant, ass kicking piece. I bet that they also believe that Sarahskank, and Brisdull write their own FB pieces of shit.
ReplyDeleteAnd, waiting for death threats to appear on this brilliant young lady's blog from"Christians", in 5, 4, 3, 2...
Sarah and Bristol didn't write their books, either.
DeleteSome kids are just special...you don't hear about it often but sometimes there are kids who go to college at the age of 12-15 because they are so gifted they skip most of their grades. There was a news story in my area years ago about a 3-year-old girl who scored higher than Einstein in an IQ test...I believe she was close to 160? So it does happen. Hard to believe, but true.
DeleteI can understand the scepticism because I, too, questioned if a girl of 12 could have written this letter. I work with 10 and 11-year-olds and I can't imagine any of them writing anything even close to the quality of this piece.
DeleteI have been convinced by those who have seen video of her debate live that she is for real, but I will say that she is truly remarkable and unusually intelligent and mature for her age.
And now we know the answer to "Is Sarah Palin smarter than a 12 year old?"
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!!
DeleteHey Sarah (and Bristol, for that matter), you've been incinerated by a young woman a fraction of your collective age, and a thousand times your intellect. How's that failed reality star, faux religious zealotry, Dark Ages idiocy thing workin' out for ya?
ReplyDeleteNot so good, huh?
I can only hope that the likes of Andrew Sullivan, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Chris Matthews gets ahold of Ms. Kimrey's thoughtful essay. I can hear the implosion of ego from my balcony already.
Palin NOT acknowledge this amazing letter, she'll rip with right up. Besides, how could we possibly imagine Sarah comprehending the theme and the wonderfully clear writing. She is an illiterate. In fact, she cannot even speak in a manner that most people can follow. That is because there is no thought there... no understanding... no nothing. She is a paper doll for the reactionary mobs. Kudos to the young lady, however.
ReplyDeleteThe kids are alright. They just need to rise up like Madison and assert their rights and preference for their future in this outhouse the Sarah Palins on this country are protecting. I hold fervently to that hope. And fuck you, Sarah, you brain dead magpie.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to send this link to you, Gryph, I should have checked here first this morning! LOL! Glad to see so many great comments on it, and the trolls getting smacked back to the caves they've crawled up out of. No one is remembering to compare her brains to Malala Yousafzai, who was 11 when she was writing a blog for the BBC. Young girls can be brilliant. Just not young Palin girls. They're just flashy.
ReplyDeleteerr, you mean trashy!
DeleteBrava~Brava Madison
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you!
Wow I didn't know she was only 12, very impressive.
ReplyDeleteThe Palin die-nasty can only survive if Bristol carries on for her mother. I can't wait for the debates when Bristol is running.
ReplyDeletePalin dynasty? Ummm NO
DeleteIt's ALWAYS all about her, isn't it?
ReplyDeletePalin: Immigration Debate 'Just About Driving Me To Renounce My Republican Ties'
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/immigration-debate-nearly-drives-sarah-palin-from-gop
What a joke! She isn't a Republican and honestly never has been. She's AIP / Bircher all the way and always has been. If you look at her history, she changed to the Republican Party so she could run for office and be taken seriously. This would make a great blog post. She's not really for America at all and what it stands for- liberty for all-a place for all. She's a white supremacist bitch.
DeleteYou beat me to it, 12:37 PM!
DeleteBitch has never been a real Republican anyway, she was a one-woman sleeper cell from the secessionist party in Alaska who had plans to lie her way into the White House and dismantle this country bit by bit. You know it's true because that's what she accuses President Obama of and you know she loves to project her thoughts and motives onto others, especially him. We weren't fooled and so now her hatred for America is magnified x1,000 and she's spent 6 years trying to hurt and divide as many Americans as she can, growing more and more hateful as more and more people slowly wake up to what she really is and reject her. The only people who can't see how hateful and destructive she is are her idiot worshipers, because they are even stupider and more hateful than she is. Good riddance Sarah, no one wants you anyway, so fuck right off!
DeleteUnarmed 12 Year Old Goes Toe To Toe With Mama Grizzly And Slays The Helpless Bear!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother was not allowed to vote because she was a woman. It took the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution to ensure my grandmother and other women were allowed the right to vote. Until she died I don't think she ever missed an election once she was allowed to vote.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother graduated from a university and was a teacher before she married my grandfather. She had to quit after marrying because the war on women back in the 1920s didn't allow married women to teach. She believed in people having equal opportunity to succeed by their efforts. She valued education and the opportunities it offered to young men and women who worked hard to educate themselves. I know my grandmother would have been proud to meet a young woman like Madison Kimrey.
I am sure she would have classified Sarah Palin as an embarrassment to women and our nation.
C'mon, there is no way a twelve-year-old wrote that letter. FAKE.
ReplyDeleteJust because Your 12 year old is still wearing diapers with her finger up her nose doesn't mean there aren't really smart kids here ready to make a difference! http://www.biography.com/people/malala-yousafzai-21362253#awesm=~oH6WVFHZHoyveo http://www.today.com/news/meet-10-year-old-prodigy-who-just-graduated-high-school-2D79795436 http://videos.komando.com/watch/4887/viral-videos-a-12-year-olds-brilliant-invention-could-save-your-home-from-floods
DeleteSo, what exactly would be the point in someone writing this for her and trying to make it seem like they're her words? When they could just write their own blog, couldn't they? Does EVERYTHINg have to be a conspiracy? Remember a few years ago at cpac there was a 13-year-old child prodigy who had already written a book and was a featured speaker? You don't normally hear a 13-year-old boy giving speeches about the nature of conservatism but he was no fake. And sadly, he was the smartest speaker there. He quickly abandoned conservatism when he got to college and out of the bubble and realized the right's idiotic policies don't work in the real world. So yeah, she wrote it.
DeleteSarah is very proud of her daughters and their accomplishments.
Deletehttp://www.pinterest.com/pin/95771929549784661/
The future is in good hands with young people like this to speak truth to power. I was worried but then I have met so many incredible young people who do have voices, are active and am immensely relieved that the good fight will carry on.
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt she is real. There are people who are much smarter than their biological ages. To have her having a platform is a wonderful thing to behold.
I have a seven year old granddaughter who announced on my birthday that she is going to be a world leader when she grows up and work for world peace. I am so proud, I haven't given her any of my spiels on most subjects because of her right wing father's ideas and I do want to keep seeing her. And I think she will. She just graduated from first grade and has read all the Harry Potter books all by herself and is one smart cookie. To graduate from first grade, you have to read 60 words a minute and she was tested at 160 words a minute with full comprehension. So yes, I do believe Madison is the real deal.
Sarah can't respond to this. Firstly, she would have to get a tutor to tell her what it means. Secondly, does she really want to get all hateful in your usual way to a 12 year old? oh yeah, we are talking about Sarah...
I'm so proud of this young lady and her mastery of the language and facts. Her parents and teachers should be so proud. I checked out her blog and she's amazing.
ReplyDeleteTo prove her point even further, Compare and contrast Chinzilla's blog with hers, and remember, Chinzilla works a full time job, graduated high school, does "skin"? and has had everything handed to her. Pathetic, huh?
Two great aspects of this country:
ReplyDelete1. That it even allows an inarticulate, narrow minded fool like Sarah Palin to voice publicly her ineptness and sheer ignorance.
2. That through the words of this fine young person we can have hope for the future of this country
2. .
