Last night the Daily Show mocked Sarah Palin's call for the impeachment of the President. Well it's about damn time!

http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/739w4w/bad-impeacher
Jon Stewart: "I'm not even going to tell you what time it is. I'm going to let my friend Sarah do it for me."

Palin (From her delightful Facebook video.): "The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. So it's time to impeach!"

Stewart: "It's time to Impeach! Actually I think it's time to stop checking Sarah Palin's Facebook page. But she posts such cute pictures of baby guns. Well since clicking on that page there already caused Facebook to change all of my pop-up ads to snow machine and moose clubbing products. let's stay with it."

Palin: "Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this President. His unsecured border crisis, for me it's the last straw. It makes kind of the battered wife say, no mas."

Audience laughter.

Stewart: "Now, if I may, it appears ex-governor Palin is finally finished with mangling the English language and has moved on to making Spanish incomprehensible. She's like a serial killer of language. Or whatever the opposite of a Rosetta Stone is. Anyway, the point is this: Her point is the real victim of children fleeing violence in Central America is Latina Sarah Palin."

"It might be easier to dismiss this call for impeachment as just another serving of Sarah Palin's patented word sausages. If not for the fact that people who didn't quit their elected offices mid-term are echoing it."

Stewart then goes on to show a number of fringe Republican lawmakers who have also publicly discussed impeachment. Including the always batshit crazy Michele Bachmann.

Which then leads to this second clip where Stewart openly mocks the Republicans for referring to the Obama administration as dictatorial, and then mocks them again for the fact that the majority of them dismiss any idea of impeaching the President because they realize it will hurt them in upcoming elections.

Stewart: "Yeah and all that is how you know all this talk of tyranny is bullshit. Because when your main concern about deposing a tyrant is how it will affect your party's chances in the upcoming mid-term elections, that's not tyranny."

Stewart then goes on to mock John Boehner for his frivolous lawsuit against the President.

I found it interesting to note that though Stewart spent a lot of time shaming the Republicans for not doing their job, he reserved his most dismissive comments for anybody who would take Sarah Palin seriously or follow her lead.

She has now become a handy dipstick for measuring the depth of the lunacy coming out of the Republican party.

And here we never thought she would be useful again.

    "Word sausage" made my day.

7 days since the last impeachment rant from Sarah Palin. Did someone shut her down?

I can't for the life of me understand the silence of Sarah Palin. I thought for sure she would be fighting back like the "Mama Grizzly" she after being shown such disrespect by the Republican Party over her impeachment strategy.

She was praising Putin not that long ago for being such a "manly man" and not wearing "mom jeans".

“People are looking at Putin as one who wrestles bears and drills for oil,” Palin said to Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Monday night. “They look at our president as one who wears mom jeans and equivocates and bloviates.”

Come on Sara and stand up for your man Putin as the free world turns against him in revulsion...

The regular Republicans are afraid of impeachment because when they tried it on Clinton, it backfired and the Democrats got more votes in the next election. That's why Boehner thinks that lodging a lawsuit against Obama won't be as bad as impeaching him. Never mind that the Congress voted to repeal the ACA 50 times, and they are going to sue Obama for not putting some provision of that law in place. The Congress was not injured by anything that Obama did, which is a requirement for the lawsuit. The founding fathers wanted the branches of government to work things about between themselves, not rush into court and sue each other all the time. Or, they would have included a provisions for one branch of government to sue another branch of government. By the time it would work its way through the courts, it would by 2016. What's the point?

She's a COWARD, 1:05 PM. I knew she wasn't about to say anything and, after her own buddies came out against it, I'm wondering as well if "someone" in Koch-land didn't tell her to zip it.

Wait until tomorrow's conference. She'll be amid her admiring ilk and she'll be braying to the heavens.

Can you believe that Boner would be third in line to be POTUS should something happen to President Obama or VP Biden?

He is the WORST example of anything calling themselves a politician we have in the country and United States Congress today....along w/McConnell who is up for reelection in Kentucky! Give him his walking papers, Kentuckians!!! His ass needs to be kicked so that he can never sit down again!

Both are total assholes and do nothing for the people that put them in office which includes the poor and the middle class! They only protect the rich and obstruct President Obama!

When Eric Holder called her out for being an idiot basically it seems to have shut her up. Wonder what they have on her, Todd, etc. at the White House and DOJ? Probably one hell of a lot!

Like the fact Todd Palin is a pimp - "Boys Will be Boys" - Shailey Tripp. (I personally purchased copies of that book and mailed them to political folks throughout the nation with a personal note!)

Political folks in D.C. are very, very aware of the Palins and the bullshit they've done - against the law - in Alaska!!!

The look that passed over Orange Doofius' face, when her name was mentioned at his presser, spoke volumes of what DC thinks of Queen Heifer. You BET they know and consider her a pesky gnat. To admit she was such an error in judgement is likened to their starting impeachment proceedings. It won't happen because they will lose big time in November. Party Of Dumb.

Denver. It should be interesting. She'll show her impeachment videos and take on Kristol, Holderman and anyone else. At least she won't feel like she has to do another Trig story, like he was born in Anchorage. How proud she is of Track since he is now the #1 guy to pose with anyone in uniform. And hair and skin school daughters sure make that Mama Grizzly beam! I can't wait to see the video.

When she is in Alaska w/her clan - you don't see them. They hide from the public! They know they are not liked and appear to be very afraid of what they will run into.

Know I'd love to verbally abuse her if given the chance - on a commercial airplane in 'first class' or wherever! She so needs to be read the riot act - up front and personal!!! Haha!

Reports from her movie producer and her local news say that she was abducted from her home and blacked out and woke up in hospital many miles from home. Movie producer Stephen James, who is making the Boys Will be Boys movie about her life, and apparently is acting as her spokesperson, made some comments on Mailia Litman's blog that this incident had nothing to do with her previous Alaskan connections and to give her and her family privacy at this time as there is an ongoing investigation.

Love me some Jon Stewart!!! We need MORE voices like this offering some push-back to all these Repug/TP morons who turn everything into a major crisis or scandal. When there is no push-back or 'refudiation', some of the more feckless in society start believing these moronic, evil asshats.

Palin should be arrested and publicly humiliated for the panic she's always trying to incite but the media coddles her rotten ass and she marches to the bank with a big smile of revenge on her gaping maw. I despise her and everything she stands for. Sorest loser in recorded history and her behavior illustrates why she is not liked my the majority. She has ruined her own children by making them act just like she does. A pox on all of them!

Damn right! What does she have on Repubs/McCain/Matsu/the real mother of Trig, or what threats of hers do they believe she will carry out, if they speak?

She acts as if she has immunity OR she is so narcissistic she cannot believe she will be caught out in her lies or fall from this religious queen position she believers herself to hold.

Doubtless there will be some Psych. Doctorate written on this crazy bitch's psychosis at some point. Perhaps it will come to have her name attached to it. A good way for her "legacy" to end. Not with a bang but as a whimpering, straight-jacketed, rake-thin, bald, big-eyed little old woman in a rubber room.

I loved the fact Stewart referred to the idiot as 'ex governor' instead of calling her 'gov'! Finally! More of national media folks need to refer to her in the same manner. She needs to be taken down forever!

She quit in Alaska because she would have been impeached herself! Unethical woman - bad deeds were done! She ran scared to death - watch her resignation speech!

Very, very few across the nation like Sarah Palin and I think she is finally beginning to figure it out! She has been as dense as they come!

I'm still waiting to hear about why she quit so suddenly.
Did she have a sudden panic attack?
Did she get fed up with the sausage making of government?
Was something rilly bad about to happen unless she quit? Maybe something like ^^^ caused a sudden panic attack?

Was Todd's fishing the only thing suddenly cancelled?

More videos please, Sarah. Show us more of the real you, unfiltered, unplugged, totally rogue.

Oh Goodie, the movie "PERSECUTED" will be shown at this event! Is that a new Doctor Banana created movie with Kirk Rev Cameron in it? Or is it the story of Sarah's life? Quick, someone put velcro on her forehead and the loopy side of the tape on her upper hand. She's practicing the inimitable Nancy Kerrigan's "Why ME, Why ME" screech, but doesn't have the muscle tone to hold her hand on her forehead.

      Live with it Sarah.

The proud to be an american orgasm guy, Boehner with the neck brace, and Sarah dressed as a pinata talking about abused women saying "No Mas" then smugly looking up, as if she talking to a fucking audience, waiting for their reaction to Rambrancy's one "funny" line.
