    Brutal! And absolutely stupid.

    According to the Bible, God told Israel they wouldn't have to fight for the land if they obeyed Him.

    Exodus 34:24 (New International Version): I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory, and NO ONE WILL COVET YOUR LAND when you go up three times each year to appear before the LORD your God. [CAPS added]

    Of course, there's the problem of the archeological record contradicting and invalidating biblical history--there is no god who gave the land to Israel--to Abraham, David, or anyone else--in the first place.

    The deputy speaker of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) wrote an op-ed outlining his plans for Gaza. A sample sentence, "...Gaza, it will become part of sovereign Israel and will be populated by Jews. This will also serve to ease the housing crisis in Israel."

    Read the whole op-ed. It's an eye-opener.

    Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately this is the root of the problems there AND with the baggers to a lesser extent here.
    This crap in the middle east has been going on for way way too long. One side wants it all, they "Warn" the others to move because they're being bombed, but there's noplace to "move TO" Is this "might makes right" what any "god" wants at the expense of making a group of people extinct, Men Women and Children dead? For a strip of land the size of a small city?
