Sarah Palin is now pimping some extreme snowmachine film that looks like it was made by teenagers hopped up on a combination of Red Bull and Meth.

WINTER PROJECT - TRAILER 1 from HYBRID COLOR FILMS on Vimeo.

This is how Snowdrift Snooki describes this adrenalin junkie porn:

Check out the trailer for this great new documentary about one of the extreme sports that guys – and gals – enjoy in the Last Frontier where we know how to live life vibrantly outdoors, literally in our backyard. Bristol’s boyfriend Joey stars in this, and Willow has a cameo.

I have to say that there is a real chasm in Alaska between other outdoor sports enthusiasts and snowmachiners.

Cross country skiers in particular have had a lot of conflicts with people ruining the trails with their machines, and dog sledding aficionados have had similar frustrations.

In effect everybody up here recognizes the value of snowmachines for getting around the state, and they are certainly fun to ride, however there is a disconnect for a lot of Alaskans between those who use them for transportation, and those who use them to show off for their friends.

I am not at all surprised that Palin would be supporting a "sport" that is attractive to younger people who get a thrill out of risk taking, and who often rely on their parents to cover their medical costs and sled repair bills.

By the way I watched this thing a couple of times and I had no problem recognizing Junker, but I did not see Willow anywhere.

I also took a look at the Facebook comments under this post and many of Palin's fans are trying to be supportive but a little confused as to why she is wasting her time promoting something like this.

Here was my favorite:

Sarah Palin, for President 2016 . Run for president in 2016 , we ask you every day to run for president. Please hear us. Run for president in 2016 or the media and the corrupt establishment wins. You have my vote. Please Sarah Palin. We love and support so much. God bless you and your family.

Yeah, not gonna happen.

New interview with Eric Thompson is a must see.

This new interview with Alaska Dispatch is far more detailed than the ones that Thompson has given before, and it also serves to really allow you to understand his situation, including his feelings of betrayal and sadness at how he was treated by both the McKenna brothers and the media.

I am also including a link to his Go Fund Me page so that you can see his progress, and perhaps donate if you have not done so already.

I KNEW that the Sarah Palin Channel sounded familiar.

The Sarah Palin Network from Michael Pastor on Vimeo.

You not to be unnecessarily judgmental, but if your big idea for making money and getting your message out is taken from an SNL parody of you from several years ago, there might be something wrong with your business model.

Just saying.

The best musical explanation for the Israeli-Palestinian crisis ever!

This Land Is Mine from Nina Paley on Vimeo.
Here is a description of the characters from True Activist.

I don"t think I have ever understood what is going on in Israel as fully as I do now.

And just try getting that song out of your head today.

A time lapse video of Anchorage that will make you wish that you lived here too.

Courtesy of the Movoto Blog:

This stunning time lapse of Anchorage places you right in the middle of what you could only hope to see in person. I’m talking about the Northern Lights, and they’ll absolutely give you chills.

Cinematographer Zan Butler transforms the dark, cold winter into a season of understated beauty. Watch as the open spaces that surround the city fill the frames and push any sight of people into the margins. Apart from the slight flashes of distant streetlights, winding cars, and overhead planes, the icy mountains and waterways are undisturbed.

Just imagine, I get to see this everyday.

My daughter occasionally gets on my case for not wanting to visit the lower 48, or leave the country. But I always say why should I, when I am constantly amazed by what is just outside my very own door?

Kind of a nice change after that whole everything's on fire video I shared earlier, don't you think?

It's not about the nail.

It's Not About the Nail from Jason Headley on Vimeo.

As a man who has been married twice I cannot tell you how true I find this to be.

I literally once had a conversation with my second wife during which she complained bitterly about a co-worker and how this co-worker was not doing things the way my wife, her boss, was telling her to do them. This, she felt, was undermining her authority.

As the conversation continued I suddenly realized that my wife was completely wrong and found myself on the side of her co-worker who had solved a number of problems at the workplace by ignoring my wife.

The truly unfortunate thing for me was that my wife began to pick up on subtle body language cues that I was apparently giving off which indicated that I was not on her side, though I stayed silent on the issue. This caused her to become increasingly angry at me until ultimately the whole thing somehow became my fault.

It's not about the nail.

Time for a mental health break.

This a preview for a film called TimeScapes" which you can learn more about here.

I don't know about you but just watching that gave me a sense of serenity and peace.

Namaste, my friends.

Inside the Palin HQ as the launch of "The Undefeated" fails.

For those of you who sent this to me today, I am sorry it took me so long to post it, but I was a wee busy.

For those who have NOT watched it yet, drop everything and have a seat, because this video is HYSTERICAL!
