Sarah Palin curses yet another Tea Party hopeful. This one running for Governor of Arizona. You know the state where she lives now.

Courtesy of the Seditious Saguaro Sally's Facebook page:

Doug Ducey is the private sector job creator and proven conservative leader that Arizona needs as its next governor. A self-made man, Doug came to Arizona for college, working at the local beer distributor to pay his way through. After graduation, Doug applied his skills and work ethic to the business world. Through his efforts as CEO, Doug grew Cold Stone Creamery from a small local Tempe ice cream parlor with four stores into a major international chain with 1,400 franchises in 31 countries. (Admirable. However as we have learned the ability to run a successful business does not translate into success at working in politics. ) Still headquartered in Arizona, this international business provides jobs and revenue for the state. Since being elected State Treasurer, Doug has fought to close financial loopholes, fix the state’s books, and stop a $1 billion annual tax increase.

Doug recently shared his vision with me, which he will carry with him each day as Arizona’s governor: “I’m a believer in private enterprise, the dignity of work, limited government and the possibilities of freedom. I am a forthright defender of the right to bear arms – which is guaranteed not only by the US Constitution, but by the Constitution of Arizona. I am a believer in the rights of the unborn and the goodness of every life, and I have promised that as governor I will champion those values.” Right on!  (In other words Ducey is a cookie cutter Tea Party conservative. How could Palin NOT endorse him?)

Cold Stone Creamery was always a favorite stop for my family when traveling during the ’08 campaign. Their creative combinations always hit the spot, and I believe Doug has the right combination to serve Arizona with his proven private sector skills and his record of conservative leadership. That’s why I’m proud to join Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and many other conservatives in endorsing Doug Ducey for Arizona governor.

 – Sarah Palin

This is a big week for Ducey as he also just received the endorse of racist Maricopa Country Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

And as the post mentions he has also picked up the endorsements of Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, not to mention Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

So he clearly has the Teabagger vote all wrapped up.

(By the way Jan Brewer has endorsed Scott Smith, one of Ducey's opponents. Awkward!)

Unlike many of Palin's picks Ducey is not running dead last, though he is running neck in neck with Go-Daddy exec Christine Jones, who had this to say about her Tea Party opponent, after he referred to her as a "line employee at Go-Daddy, with no leadership experience." :

“Being a condescending, misogynistic jerk is not the way to win an election,” Jones told the Arizona Capitol Times. “I have heard from a lot of professional women that, if they had any doubt in their mind about voting for me before they head that line, they’re absolutely voting for me now, because they’ve worked with ‘that guy’ in their career.”

Seriously is it even possible for Palin to endorse a candidate who is NOT a misogynistic jerk? (You know unless they have lady parts of course.)

So here we go again. Let's see if the Palin curse still retains its sting, shall we?

Sarah are you saying that Doug won't quit halfway through his first term as governor of Arizona like you quit on us?

Considering it appears to be impossible for conservatives to NOT be misogynistic jerks, I think the answer is obvious. ;P

Ugh. Cold Stone Creamery is owned by a Teabagger??
    I had no idea.

I was just in there a couple of weeks ago, and the only good news is that I had 2 coupons from the Sunday paper, so I used one and gave the other coupon to the kind folks in line behind me.

So he got less of our money, and now I can't go there anymore, since it's like the Hobby Lobby or Chick-fil-a of the ice cream world.

Gryphen - Check out the latest "freebie" video on the PayMe Website. SP mocks one of the smartest women in the country - Sen. Elizabeth Warren. SP is shown trying to even copy the outfit that Elizabeth is wearing - black top and red jacket, but of course we know who wore it better! SP is so snarky, and yes, she tries to use the cutesy sing-song voice, too. In many instances, she sways away from the main point that Elizabeth addresses - the word salad is in full "tossed" mode when SP makes fun of Liberals and fast-food places. She truly is looney! (And there is no way in h-ll that SP would ever consider having a one-on-one debate with EW (but wouldn't you just love to watch the most epic smackdown ever??!!)

I am a great admirer of Elizabeth Warren (and also Hillary Clinton). I feel confident that one or both of these women will be President of the U.S. in my lifetime. (I am a 66 year-old, female Democrat residing in the state of Michigan.)

Poor Sarah Palin, she just can't stop making a fool of herself. Actually, that's an ailment afflicting the whole Republican Party!

Wow! $arah is actually complimenting her guy for getting a college degree? She's "proud" to join Ted Cruz, et al. I don't see them being proud to have $arah "join" them! In fact, I'm pretty sure they don't want to become the punch line that she has become. But nice try, $arah!

I have noticed G that you take great delight in stating that Sarah lives in Arizona. And of course, who can blame you. Funny how a woman who always quits her jobs is forever talking about work ethic.

Sarah must be about done with her blog spot that she calls a channel. I expect she will quitting it anyday now and hopes that no one notices. But the folks at IM will not let that day pass without comment.

They appear to be afraid of the verbal abuse they'd run into from Alaskans, visitors and/or tourists.

Or this is just what Hollywood does-keeps people talking about the show they are promoting. No way no how will skank be joining the ladies at the view. Talking about it gives radar and Hollywood gossip clicks and keeps "the view" front and center and that kids is what this chatter is about. The new website that skank calls a channel is a national joke and a busy and EVERYONE knows she is toast. This is a non story created for publicity for the view.

Ted Nugent Previews His Appearance At Toledo Blade Concert By Attacking "Stinkyass" American Indian Protestors

Nugent: American Indians Could Have Fought Off Settlers With Less "Whoopin" And "Hollerin"

National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent hyped his August 8 appearance at The Toledo Blade's food and music festival by attacking the "stinkyass unclean dipshit protestors" that attended a rally organized by an American Indian group at his August 6 concert.

Nugent's summer tour schedule has been filled with controversy, protests, and cancellations. At least four concerts have been cancelled because of Nugent's history of racially inflammatory commentary, while activists -- representing both American Indian and progressive groups -- have staged protests at other concerts. American Indian groups became involved in protesting Nugent after two American Indian tribes cancelled Nugent concerts scheduled at their casinos after learning of Nugent's past comments and appropriation of American Indian headdresses during concerts.

In April, The Toledo Blade announced that Nugent would perform at the paper's four-day "Rib-Off" food and music festival in August. At the time, employees of The Blade told Media Matters investigative reporter Joe Strupp that the paper was receiving "quite a few" calls from angry readers and that the paper would "think long and hard about inviting him next year." Controversy over The Blade's invitation to Nugent spurred gun violence prevention group Coalition to Stop Gun Violence to launch a petition calling for the concert's cancellation. On July 27, The Blade's owner sent a letter to the editor where he declined to cancel Nugent's appearance but apologized for the invitation and wrote he would "not support inviting him again."
