Ted Nugent continues working toward the day when he will have NO venues willing to allow him onstage ever again.

Courtesy of the You Tube page:

Conservative rock star Ted Nugent was deputized by local law enforcement at a Tea Party event in Wyoming in which he complained about America’s alleged post-World War II decline and women who do not enjoy hunting, Media Matters reported. “We have bent over since World War II because we couldn’t believe that the universally celebrated good of America crushed the universally understood evil of J*ps and Nazis,” Nugent said during a 30-minute speech to members of the Big Horn Basin Tea Party. “We couldn’t believe that that government that represented us in good over evil could turn on us. They’ve turned on us.”

Nugent also accused hunters in Colorado of allowing “bureaucrats” to limit their Second Amendment rights, and challenged members of his audience to each “fix” 100 people and get them to vote for conservatives. “If I hear another hunter tell me, ‘Man, I wish I could get my wife to support hunting,’ fix your wife,” Nugent said. “Fix her or replace her.”

Okay who calls people "Japs" these days?

And as for men "fixing" their wives or replacing them, well buddy that goes both ways.

Media Matters also reported this:

Returning to his usual attacks on elected Democrats, Nugent called Attorney General Eric Holder a "racist" and a "felon," called for the arrest of Holder and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and said that Obama "doesn't have the credentials to drive my tour bus"

What was it that the editor-in-chief of Pollster USA said again?

That soon Nugent will be limited to gigs playing at NRA conventions and Fox News events?

Yeah well that day is certainly sped up by this kind of racist and sexist bullshit.

Who needs a tour bus when you've got no place to go? Lucky for me he had his 15 minutes before I was born, so I've never heard is stuff anyway.

I lived through his heyday and I never heard him play. I didn't even know if I knew anyone who paid attention to him. Occasionally in the back ground on a radio I may have heard him but he was never anything of interest. I did hear about him later when he was ugly and a perv. He was always unappealing. I have read where people say he could play guitar, they weren't anyone I knew. Who knew that someone ever bought his albums?

    3. I'm 59 years old and I never heard of Ted Nugent until Sarah Palin started holding hands with him. I looked him up,first thing I saw was "poopy-gate" ,then the underage girlfriends. I asked my husband, the Vietnam vet of 2 tours of duty about him,he said "you mean that draft-dodger guy plays music?

WTF is he talking about World war II and "Japs" when he was a flippin' draft dodger? A racist draft dodging pedo PIG never changes his stripes I wish the police would investigate his ass. And also too, he isn't much of a guitar player either....

It is time for Sarah Palin to step up to the plate for Ted Nugent and do what any pal would do with their own teevee channeling. Have her daughters do a series of videos with her Uncle Ted. Piper can reach out to Courtney Love and bring in an even larger audience for Palin Channeling. It will make a great show.

The local classic rock station that usually posts concert pics on Facebook did not post ONE from his concert last night in Portland. You go, KGON!

Comment from DJ: Greg Bell, that's exactly the thought process anyone should go through when making a decision of any kind. What you feel is right, is what you should do. You didn't go, and that's fine. For the people who attended, it was also their right to make the decision to go. I went because I have a history with Ted in radio (he was my first on air interview at KGON), and I remembered the shows I saw early in his career. I hadn't seen him in a very long time, and with all the fuss, I admit to being curious as to what the show would be like. He can still play quite well. I just wish he would do what his new album is titled- "Shut Up and Jam." But that's my opinion. And opinions, openly expressed is one of the many freedoms I love about this country. Rock on!~Iris

So you don't have a problem with the garbage he spouts about women, our President, the NRA? I don;t care if he was your first love, he has changed, and your attending the concert is supporting his hatred of half of the country.

Did you interview him before or after he dodged the draft? If it was after, did you ask WHY he is such a vile person, and a coward?

    4. Anonymous2:54 AM

Well, 7:56 PM, in keeping with the "Keep Portland Weird" motto, they weren't about to cancel this appearance. An overwhelming majority of comments were extremely critical of him and the station for mentioning he was in town. I don't think he's "changed," he's been this way from the get go.

I see you posted as anonymous, 5:38. Interesting since you also claim to be/have been so.e sort of roadcaster./radio type. What's a matter, chicken?

    6. Stop with the personal attacks, 4:19AM. 5:38 PM was respectful and attacked no one. This person gave you some info that should be enlightening, not threaten your way of life or your opinion of Nugent.

Many baby boomers who were fans of his type of music can separate the musician from the man himself.

One of my closest "old" friends played guitar and toured with his band professionally for 20 years. He does mostly studio work now, and I asked him about Ted, who I remember being in all kind of rock fan and guitar magazines in the 70's. He's always asserted that "Nugent's an asshole and not a good dude I'd ever really want to hang with outside of work, but the guy can play the goddam guitar, and when I had the chance to jam with him, it was awesome because the guy is serious about music and really appreciative and supportive of other musician's abilities as well. But rather than worshipping him or fawning over him, I wanted to show HIM what I could do. He respected that and was very respectful and complimentary."

Because my bud is pretty accomplished himself after touring for 20 years prior to his studio work for the past 25 years after starting a family and all of the middle-class trappings. But he's been able to play in studio with George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ted Nugent, among many others including on different albums and live gigs over the years.

On a personal note, 4:19, if you've ever had to work with a talented fellow employee that you didn't personally like because of their personality or prima donna attitude or whatever, you might be able to relate. Sometimes people are better at their jobs and perform at a very high level of proficiency, but are lacking in particular communicative or social skills. Like many public "personalities", Nugent's public persona is different from the man when he is with his "fans" and fellow professional musicians.

Personally, I think Nuge is a dickhead and I'd never spend a penny supporting him. But I completely understand why my friend Ty has a different opinion of Nugent from an artistic basis, anyway, and I can also see where 5:38 is coming from.

BTW, everybody here at this site comments anonymously under a generic "anonymous" open acct or under a nom de guerre fictitious name like mine.

To do otherwise opens one up to potential harrassment from idiots who do that sort of thing for a hobby. Not everyone who has a life in the public or ever had a job with high visibility wants to be in the public eye 24/7, especially if they're in a different time/place in their career.

So chill, okay? We can agree or disagree without being disagreeable and passing judgement on one another's opinions. Rather than call you a chicken for also posting anonymously, I'd assume you found the poster's story at 5:38 interesting and wanted to know more about him/her. There might be a better way to ask politely than to insult this person. But the way you inquired, I can understand why 5:38 might decline.

Respectfully though, have you seen his concert clips? He is NO actor. He says even MORE stupid, vulgar, hateful crap onstage with his fans cheering him on, then he does when he's on tv. He is sick.

He's a crappy mediocre guitarist and a vile person. I hope all his gigs get cancelled. Its time for certain people to "chill" or grow up and stop looking at idiots like him as "rock gods" b/c their not. He is a pedophile and a draft dodging ahole who is also treasonous and disparages our POTUS just like Treason Sarah. Only SHE doesn't have Cat scratch fever, or does she?

  17. Well I have seen him way too many times unfortunately. He is booked here in toledo, ohio this friday at our annual Rib Off. There are many of us that are going to pay to $6 to get in so we can protest that POS. He is booked as Motor City's Madmen, Detroit is only an hour away.
In the 70's and 80's. one could hardly go to a concert and there he was in the lineup. I was really sick of him them and I hold nothing but the greatest disdain for him now. I really can't believe Toledo Blade's editor's response to all the public outcry to them booking him, "Just because he called the president a sub-human mongrel, does not make him a racist'.. oh boy, that went over well,,not! I was surprised when I saw him the lineup in all the advertising, I thought the people in this area had voiced our opinion months ago when we all sent petitions to not have him come here, no one wants him! Toledo has enough slime of our own to deal with right now, still not using the water!

    3. Are you going to bring whistles and air horns to drown him out?

      Turn around and moon him?

Or just not show up to his show?

That would be priceless. As soon as he walks on stage, people leave until there is no one left. That would make a great shot on the evening news.

This fucker is hilarious! He knows that his fake interest in politics, his fascist views, and his transparent attempt to come off as an intellectual by tossing as many "big" words into a sentence as possible, just to end up calling, is ruining what was left of his lame-ass career. But he just can't resist the pull of these toothless inbreeders he speaks to treating him like he is important and knows jack shit about politics. This half-wit needs to go kill himself since he's such a miserable, hateful little worm.
