Happy National Airborne Day! My son Track reminded me that today is the anniversary of the first official Army parachute jump in 1940!
Wait, what?
First off I seriously doubt that Track reminded her of this, because it does not sound like an anniversary that a guy in his twenties would give a shit about. (Besides from what I hear he may have trouble understanding what day of the week it is, let alone what "special" day of the month it is.)
I think this is clearly another case of Palin waving her titty tassels at the military in order to hang onto her "combat veteran" cred. And it reeks of desperation.
Of course perhaps it is as simple as Palin wanting to use this photo with this caption, but then chickened out at the last minute and left the wording off.
Or hey maybe I am completely in the wrong, and Palin is just a huge supporter of national days that nobody else gives a rat's ass about.
If that is true than I guess we will soon hear her giving a shout out to National Mail Order Day tomorrow, National Soft ice Cream Day the day after, and National Tooth Fairy Day on the 22nd.
However I will bet big bucks she will ignore National Women's Equality Day on the 26th.

DeleteA Student Pilot's certificate is valid for two years, I believe. It is attached to the Third Class Medical certificate that is necessary to fly solo. The Third Class medical exam is valid for five years. Track wouldn't need a student license to take lessons but he does need one it fly by himself. A student pilot cannot carry passengers.

I know you must trust NBC, after all, you co-hosted The Today Show. This weekend, in the blistering Texas heat, military men and women stood outside waiting. Not for their orders, they waited in line at the food pantry. It's the middle of the month and they can't make ends meet. One in five military families requires help to buy food and one in four veterans who have been in action require assistance. That's just shameful. Oh and before you blame the President, they make minimum wage plus room and board. Raise the minimum wage to a living wage and PROBLEM SOLVED. That's a real issue you can get behind. You don't even have to make it up.

What this family has done, the truth, not the propaganda they spew. What they have done to soldiers and treatment of the armed services must be exposed. They are highly criminal. Track Palin is right in the middle of it.
It is not as if he is not living high off the hog when he allows himself to be at the center of a con game. He profits from the Palin lies. They only pretended he was in a combat zone, but they sell others on the concept to fight for your country or you are not a patriot like a Palin.
The whole family deserves to spend the rest of their lives in prison. It is really sick what they are doing.

However, there was a short article LAST DECEMBER at YoungCons.com displaying the poster with soldiers and text about minimum wage, and one commenter replied thus:
"Soldiers do great things and are admirable. MUCH respect for all of them. The message in this image, however, is not comparable at all to someone working at McDonalds. Soldiers living expenses, including housing, meals, clothing, travel, are all paid by the government. If the McDonalds' workers didn't have these living expenses, I'm betting a lower minimum wage wouldn't be an issue. It's just not comparable.
