Making even eating an ice cream cone seem super cool.
Fuck the Republican's constant attacks and the media misrepresentation of everything I do. I am just going to stand here and totally enjoy my damn ice cream, while everybody takes my picture like I am a Kardashian walking around nude.
The morning news showed our President speaking in Myanmar. He looked FANTASTIC! When he's not among the temper-tantrum-throwing-toddlers that are the rightwing nutjobs, he looks so relaxed and happy.
I am amazed at how this man continues to carry out his duties every single day with such grace. With all of the challenges of his administration and all of the tantrums directed at him by those feisty little toddlers on the right, he is always there for us, on he job, getting it done with maturity, intelligence, sincerity, and so often humor. I have so much respect for President Obama.
Obama has a deep sense of the context of the long view of history and his role in it. Daily turmoil with obstructionist "haters" just doesn't appear to phase him because he's tuned in on the signal-to-noise ratio and knows that so much of what takes up the daily news cycle will just wind up as so much random background static when history tunes in on his presidency.
He is a Statesman. He sees the long view and is on the right side of history, pecked at by losers. That America in the eyes of the world maintains any shred of dignity or moral force is because of him. How his Democratic caucus can't see that is overwhelmingly sad and impossible to understand.
I agree with you and all the previous comments. We are so fortunate to have this man in the White House, particularly at this moment in history when this country could have just imploded without his expert and farsighted guidance.
Oh boy, I can't wait for The Queen Bitch to write a Facebook post about how our Commander-in-Chief disrespects everyone in the whole world by eating an ice cream cone, when he has purposely destroyed all that is good in this "Shining City On a Hill" that The Great God Reagan created all on his own after Jesus personally came down and handed him the Constitution! HOW DARE HE!! "Now send me money!"
Seriously, though, keep your head up, President Obama! We love you and your wonderful family! Thank you for all that you do.
I have a feeling History will be more than kind to President Obama and his legacy. I read "the Obama Diaries", and it amazes me how much work he does in one day for the people and the country he represents. That, and being smart is so damn sexy! The first lady's one lucky woman. and equally smart.
